The struggle of opening your eyes when morning comes after a late night gather is one of the most frustrating feelings i have to experience frequently.
Especially since I'm on a mission to better myself and my lifestyle, making Inna's proud, i should be ashamed of myself to be in this state.
That reminds me, i wonder if Inna got in trouble for her coming late, i want to check on her making sure everything is okay.
"I hope everything went well at home... I'm sorry for forcing to stay, i really got ahead of myself, please forgive me (ㅅ´ ˘ `)."
I sent the message and got up to prepare myself for school.
I kept being worried about Inna, because I didn't know what her family is like, maybe they are so strict that it may effect our relationship.
I kept checking my phone for any response from her, but there was nothing.
I took my final deep breaths before i headed out to school, i decided to leave everything to when i see her to find out what happened.
Some of my friends laughed at me when i told them about me and Inna, and i totally understand that.
But unlike previous attempts, this time feels different, i have a special thing going on, and i will continue no matter what happens.
Grandma was looking at me weirdly, as i was silently eating my breakfast.
"Are you.. looking at something in particular?."
"Yes, matter of fact, you look like you are worried about something, which very unusual."
"I look worried?!.. well, a friend of mine might be in trouble because of me, a special friend."
"Hmm, well be careful getting so ahead of yourself that you might lose that friend."
I didn't take her words seriously, as i never thought of a scenario where I'm in bad terms with Inna.
"Oh today i will be coming late, I'm booked at eight, i think it's a birthday party. It should be fun."
"... But how could you possibly be a girl student while you keep working this late Ruby?."
"Hahah, that would be great, sadly I can't do it right now, but i will be careful though..."
"Okay grandma, I'll leave right now, also I'm thinking of hanging out with you somewhere this weekend, maybe we can visit your hometown."
"... You really can't stop for a moment, can you."
After breakfast, i headed to school, i was feeling some butterflies in my stomach, probably because i forgot some kind of homework, hopefully it wasn't from Inna.
As i entered class, i found her sitting at her place, her mind looks like it was too occupied to notice me.
"Were you a bad girl last night who stayed late even though her parents told her not to?."
I could feel the startle reflex when i put my hands to cover her eyes from behind.
"Crap! Hey! You can't do that."
"Hehe, it's so cute when get frustrated... How you doing Inna, did everything went well."
"Ruby, I'm— i mean everything went well, i was just scolded for the rest of the night, could've been worst—"
"You got scolded! For the whole night!, please forgive Inna, I can't believe it, even when i try to be nice i always ended up hurting you..."
"You don't have to be, i was kind of into it too, so i deserve it, i could've gone home if i wanted to, let's not exaggerate things."
"Hahh, i wish i could make it up to you, i feel so bad about it right now."
"Well you can continue to feel bad about it, or you can meet me at our usual time after school. I need to talk to you about something important."
"There's something?. Yeah sure of course i will be there like usual, you know how much i appreciate our time together Inna."
As cold as always she went back to being busy with whatever she's doing, while i was left wondering what is this important thing she wants to talk about. I hope it's not what i fear.
With Inna leaving me impatient for the meeting for the whole school time, i tried to use the opportunity and learn some self-control techniques to be less initiative to them.
Which means i got to ignore all the classmates boys and stop reaching to them whenever i find them.
With that out of the way, all I'm left to do is...
On the hallway, i found Amira who approched me excitedly smiling.
"Oh, hey Ruby."
"Hey, whats up."
"Listen, i know you're busy with Jueji but i really need you to come with me to the hookah place, you have no idea how much we suffered from Faiyza's loud voice."
"You guys went there without me, i'm not sure i can go to a place like that anymore, you girls have to take Faiyza on those circles."
"What! You're not going there anymore, are you serious!, people love you there... why, what are you feeling?."
"Oh well... It's just umm... I've been bored with the same routine, I'm trying to keep my head above for a little bit."
I gave a very empty answer, i didn't want to tell her my real feelings.
"... Hmm, that's unfortunate, alright just take it easy, i know you've been through a lot, i don't want to push you or anything."
"Yeah, thanks. I'll be fine don't worry."
"Okay... I'll call you later."
"... Okay...hehe."

The school time is finally over, and as always i patiently wait for Inna while preparing our desk.
When Inna finally came, i got excited to meet so turned around to greet her.
"Listen Ruby, i don't have much time i will tell everything later but right now we should meet at a different spot—"
"Inna, calm down, just tell me what's going on."
At that point someone arrived at the door, it was Miss Elin, with her stunningly eye catching and serious look.
"Inna, i think you should go home now, your mom's waiting for you."
"NO INNA, WHAT DID YOUR FAMILY TELL YOU, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO."
My heart was definitely beating fast at those moments i couldn't contain my nervousness and feeling of threat.
"I swear i will find a way, it's not over yet, i will be there for you Ruby, remember, i promised you i will make a better person... This not over."
The moment was a shoulder pat, to chasing her while leaving, to getting my way blocked by Miss Elin, while Inna was leaving, and leaving us two to each other.
