Synopsis
> Author Announcement I’ve already dropped 19 chapters ahead across multiple novels. I created YouTube shorts. I even avoided the bot system by breaking the link — and told you how to fix it. Still, barely anyone subscribed. So here’s the final line: https://youtube.com/shorts/TfU3ILpzvQI?si=ZnmF3-GRpAWJxArc No more chapters until we hit 100 subscribers. This is the only support I’ve asked for. If you enjoy the story — prove it. If not? Then this is where it ends. —MR_NingaTurtles

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: I Swear I Didn’t Want to Rot Like This

Pain.

Unholy, heart-shattering pain.

Something was being forced into my chest. No, shoved in.

"Hnnng—"

I opened my eyes to see a woman so beautiful she could ruin nations. Soft pink hair brushed against my cheeks. My nose was full of that faint, dangerously addictive perfume—like you'd sniff it once and call her Mommy unironically.

Kafka.

She was on top of me. Dead serious. Her face calm, legs straddling, and hands pressing something glowing into my chest.

"Why's it not going in?" she murmured, more confused than concerned. "Elio said it would press in smoothly."

You what now?

I screamed inside: Big sister! MILF! Mommy! I'm awake! And you're STILL pressing?!

Kafka rolled her eyes. "Complaints are for the weak."

"You're violating several space laws!"

A flash of white light burst from my chest.

The star core finally went in.

My body convulsed. The universe glitched.

> [Star System Detected: Activating 'Effort System'. Work hard to grow stronger!]

I blinked, mentally curled up in fetal position. Why does this feel like a mobile gacha tutorial?

Effort? Bro, I just got violated by Kafka and you're telling me to go WORK?

"Decline. Deny. Disrespectfully." I muttered.

> [System requires host confirmation.]

"I just got reincarnated! Why do I need to grind again? Let me rot!"

I flopped onto the ground. Motionless. Dead fish style.

Outside, I heard bubblegum pop.

Silver Wolf appeared.

She tilted her head. "Did you break him?"

Kafka crossed her arms. "No. I was gentle. Mostly."

Silver Wolf crouched and poked my leg.

"He's not moving. You broke the simp."

Kafka: "He did it to himself."

. . .

Ten minutes passed. I still refused.

Twenty.

Thirty.

> [Effort System rejected. Searching alternate system...] [Compatible match found: The 'Degenerate Slacking System'.]

Excuse me?!

> [System activated. Every hour you rot in degeneracy, your Star Core experience increases.]

> [Side effect: Resisting work grants bonus simp energy.]

Now we're talking.

> [Warning: Leaving the rot state will trigger an 8-hour cooldown.]

"So I can either rot and grow stronger... or move and lose power?"

> [Correct.]

"Screw it. I'm in. Rotting is justice."

. . .

Outside, Kafka and Silver Wolf watched me lay there for 30+ minutes.

Suddenly, my leg twitched.

Silver Wolf pointed. "He moved."

Kafka smirked. "See? Told you it wasn't me."

I sat up slowly.

Looked left: MILF who star-core assaulted me. Looked right: Gamer gremlin with bubblegum.

I took a deep breath.

"System, when does the degeneracy counter start?"

> [Already counting. You've earned 0.3 Simp XP.]

LET'S GO.

I laid back down immediately, moaning just loud enough for them to hear.

Kafka raised an eyebrow.

Silver Wolf blinked. "He's doing it on purpose."

Kafka whispered, "He's worse than us."

Silver Wolf squinted. "What's he farming exactly?"

> [Degeneracy stack: 1.4x. Mood boost: +12%. Libido suppression: Failed.]

Kafka side-eyed her companion. "We should've brought a leash."

Silver Wolf popped her gum. "Next time."

I grinned on the floor, arms outstretched like a martyr. "I regret nothing."

> [Daily rot quota reached: You've unlocked bonus reward: 10% of DCEU Superman's Stats.] [Strength, Speed, Endurance]

My spine cracked. A slight tremor rippled through the floor.

"…Okay yeah, this system's broken. I'm keeping it."

> [Star Core experience +1 +1 +1...]

"…Oh, my waist…"

I groaned dramatically, as if I'd just survived childbirth.

From the corner, Kafka watched in silence while Silver Wolf approached, kicking my leg.

"Bro. Seriously?" she sighed. "You get up for one second, then lie back down?"

"Old bones," I muttered. "Big core stuffed into me. I'm fragile."

Kafka: "…"

Silver Wolf: "You're what now?"

Kafka had stopped responding entirely, her eyes glued to the view outside the glass.

"…Hello?" Silver Wolf waved a hand in front of her.

"Don't worry about him," Kafka said quietly. "Look outside."

Silver Wolf followed her gaze—

—into the Milky Way.

Black dots. Dozens. Hundreds.

Thousands.

Antimatter Legion.

"Wait, wasn't this batch supposed to hit the Herta Space Station?" Silver Wolf asked.

Kafka frowned. "That's way too many. This doesn't match the prophecy."

"They're heading straight for us!" Silver Wolf yelled. "We need to move before we get spotted by the Express crew!"

She grabbed Kafka's wrist to pull her back—

But Kafka didn't budge.

"…Kafka?!"

"No." Kafka's voice was low. "If we retreat now, he's doomed. Elio's plan ends here."

Silver Wolf: "What?."

I just waved from the floor like I was lounging at a pool party.

"Don't mind me," I said. "Just a helpless man with 10% Superman juice, rotting gloriously."

Kafka sighed into her hand.

Silver Wolf stared at the ceiling.

The degeneracy had begun.
