Well… but after all, Kurosaki Yuzu still has room for growth, so we can't draw a conclusion yet.
In short, the two girls have changed a lot over the years. If before they were only little girls, now they had grown into graceful young ladies.
Kurosaki Karin withdrew her gaze and looked at Yuta in front of her. Speaking of herself, her strength had also improved greatly in the past two years, all under Yuta's guidance. After all, under Yuta's training, it was impossible not to improve.
"Yuta-san, this is my favorite strawberry. I brought it for you! Come on, come on, come on!"
Kurosaki Yuzu pulled out a bamboo basket with fresh strawberries inside.
"Thank you," Yuta said as he took one, smiling faintly. "Would you like to come in and sit for a while?"
"Okay, okay!" Yuzu replied animatedly.
Just as she was about to step inside and start a long conversation with Yuta, Karin placed a hand on her shoulder and stopped her.
"Have you forgotten you have school today?" Karin said firmly.
"Ah… that's right. Then I'll come see you after school, Yuta-san. Bye!" Yuzu said quickly before tugging on her sister's hand and leaving.
Watching their backs as they walked away, Yuta sighed quietly, reflecting on how youth seemed so full of energy and happiness every single day.
Karin held Yuzu's hand as they turned the corner and left. "Yuzu, I thought you would have let your obsession with Yuta-san fade after two years, but it seems like you're more trapped than ever in it."
"What are you talking about!" Yuzu's face flushed red. "You're no different. Don't think I don't know you sneak off to see Yuta-san while pretending otherwise. Both of you end up exhausted and drenched in sweat when you come back. What exactly are you two doing in secret?"
"That's nonsense!" Karin's eyes shifted awkwardly. "...Yuta-san is only teaching me physical training exercises. Don't get the wrong idea."
"Oh, really?" Yuzu's eyes narrowed knowingly. "Then can you explain where that hair tie you're wearing came from?"
Her gaze lingered on Karin's ponytail. The black hair tie looked plain at a glance, but Yuzu was sure she had never seen Karin buy one like it before. The possibility that it was a gift from Yuta crossed her mind.
Karin looked away and picked up her pace quickly. "Come on, we'll be late for class."
"Don't run off!" Yuzu shouted and hurried after her sister.
By evening, darkness had spread over the city. A cool breeze swept through the streets with a refreshing chill.
On one floor of a nondescript building, the gathering place of the Fullbringers remained active.
Among them, some had unique and overwhelming powers. Tsukishima Shūkurō's Fullbring, for example, was notorious: with it, he could insert his own existence into another's past, altering memories and connections completely.
Ding.
The elevator chimed softly as it opened, and two figures stepped out.
One was Hideki Yuta, and the other was Aizen Sōsuke, who quietly followed behind him.
Ginjo Kūgo's eyes narrowed as he caught sight of the two unfamiliar men entering. "Who are you?" he asked sharply.
Yuta smiled faintly. "Your name is Ginjo Kūgo, correct? I am also a Fullbringer, and I came here because I want to lose my ability."
The room was sparsely furnished but held a strange atmosphere of wealth because one of the Fullbringers was particularly well-off.
That man was Yukio Hans Vorarlberna.
He sat at a table immersed in a handheld gaming console that looked very similar to a PSP, with numerous buttons and a centered screen. His yellow hair poked out from under a baseball cap, his bangs long enough to cover one eye completely. He didn't bother looking up as the newcomers entered; his full attention was on the game in his hands.
Ginjo's expression grew serious as he processed Yuta's words.
"What?" he said after a pause. "You're also a Fullbringer?"
The statement left him unsettled. He prided himself on knowing nearly every Fullbringer in the city, yet this young man before him was a complete unknown.
Yuta ignored the surprise and walked toward the bar. Behind it stood a middle-aged man in a waiter's suit: Tsuzawa Kiriko. He wore a neat suit and held a pocket watch in hand, checking the time carefully as he tended to his preparations.
"One cup of tea," Yuta said as he sat on the sofa nearby.
Ginjo Kūgo's wariness deepened. He couldn't shake the feeling that this young man knew too much about them, while they knew nothing about him.
How did he know his name?
More importantly, how did he know that Ginjo's own purpose was to rid himself of his Fullbring?
Knowing someone's name was one thing-but knowing his intentions was impossible… unless Yuta's Fullbring ability was some form of mind reading.
Yuta folded his hands calmly before his abdomen and spoke in a collected tone. "You're wondering if my Fullbring ability is mind reading, aren't you?"
Ginjo froze in place, eyes widening slightly.
The obviousness of the implication only made him believe it further. Yuta must have read his thoughts.
Forcing composure, Ginjo allowed a thin smile and moved to sit across from him.
"Then, what should I call you?"
"Hm… you can call me Jiuhua," Yuta answered casually.
"Jiuhua-san, is it?" Ginjo repeated, rolling the name across his tongue thoughtfully. It didn't connect to anything familiar-a name that seemed to appear out of nowhere, belonging to someone who had suddenly stepped into their circle.
"Actually," Yuta continued evenly, "my Fullbring has nothing to do with mind reading. I simply know more than most. I came here hoping to see your Fullbring firsthand and further develop my own."
Ginjo studied him intently. "And you seek to lose your Fullbring, correct?"
"That's correct. You're sharp," Yuta replied with a slight smile.
"Jiuhua-san," Ginjo said at last, his tone heavy with doubt, "are you trying to make a fool of me?"
He tried to weigh the man's claims carefully. Yuta's words carried some credibility-it was possible he only wanted to refine his Fullbring. But the idea of willingly giving up such a power? It was unthinkable.
At that moment, the door to the room was shoved open with force.
Stepping through was a young girl with twin pink ponytails and a white velvet hat perched on her head. Two long rabbit-ear-like extensions trailed from the back of the hat, matching her twin ponytails for a striking appearance.
She wore a white dress with lace trimmings that hugged her chest, giving her the look of a doll-like princess.
Her figure was petite yet feminine. While her chest was not overly large, it carried a natural balance that drew attention without excess-a contrast somewhere between the modest frame of Kuchiki Rukia and the more athletic build of Kurosaki Karin.
