Chapter 110 - The Humiliation of Bone Douluo

Chapter 110: The Humiliation of Bone Douluo

"Clan Master Ning, don't act as if I'm forcing you," Qin Xuan transmitted again. "I can't guarantee that my wife won't pay a visit to your clan tonight. The only reason you are alive is because I had no choice but to listen to the High Priest. My wife, however, has received no such favors from Spirit Hall."

Ning Fengzhi took a deep breath. He knew he was trapped. "That's right. Bone Douluo saw you enduring the pressure of the four clan masters and felt you might be a huge threat. He asked me if I wanted to secretly eliminate you, but I didn't agree."

He had basically anticipated the crowd's reaction, but he could no longer care. Compared to the clan and the life of Bone Douluo, the opinions of others were not worth mentioning.

As expected, the moment his words left his mouth, the square became noisy. To Qin Xuan's surprise, the first to attack was Yu Yuanzhen.

"Ning Fengzhi, I ask you! Was the disappearance of Yu Xinglong, the most outstanding young disciple of my Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, your doing?"

The decline of his clan had always been the greatest pain in Yu Yuanzhen's heart. Their most promising genius had disappeared years ago while hunting for a spirit ring, and they had been left without a worthy successor ever since.

"Senior Yu, where did this come from?" Ning Fengzhi argued. "The Upper Three Clans are connected! How could my clan attack the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan?"

"Hmph, you're fearless because I lack evidence," Yu Yuanzhen snorted coldly. "Even if it wasn't you, it must have been your old man. After the competition, I will definitely come to your clan to have a good talk."

Seeing that even Yu Yuanzhen chose to let the matter rest, the other clans who had also lost talented disciples were greatly disappointed, but dared not speak out. They all looked to Qin Xuan, hoping he would demand an explanation.

"All clan masters and senior Spirit Masters, please listen carefully," Qin Xuan said loudly, his voice carrying across the square. "Just now, Clan Master Ning personally admitted that Bone Douluo intended to assassinate me. This matter has nothing to do with him, so I will not make things difficult for him or the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan."

He then sent a transmission to Ning Fengzhi. "Clan Master Ning, why don't you thank me quickly?"

Ning Fengzhi's face darkened, but he did as he was told. "Thank you, Second Majesty, for your magnanimity. Fengzhi is eternally grateful."

The other clans were disappointed, but Qin Xuan's next action made their eyes light up with a sense of great satisfaction.

"I, Qin Xuan, keep my word," he said, looking down at the sprawled Gu Rong. "Now it's your turn. You wanted to kill me, but you were caught. How should this be handled?"

"I apologize to you here," Gu Rong said, choosing not to be stubborn.

"An apology isn't enough," Qin Xuan said, then sent a transmission to his wife. "Wife, take off one of his legs."

Jing Ni understood. Her gaze swept towards Gu Rong's right leg.

"No—" Amidst Ning Fengzhi's exclamation, a layer of ice covered Gu Rong's leg from the knee down.

Crack—

The ice shattered, and along with it, so did his leg. Ice crystals mixed with fresh blood stained the ground red.

"Ah!" A heart-wrenching scream tore from Gu Rong's throat.
