Eric stalked around the room. They used the basement in Ken's house for the assault operations. The next victim is a woman,who works with the agency. He calculated the risks.
" This is bull, man . She works with the agency"
" I know".
" Don't you think,it will get more complicated"
" Explain it to Ken then". he said
" My opinion will not affect his decision '' he answered.
" I won't argue with you , just do the job!"
Eric paused apparently lost in thought. Ken has been the head of the team till date. He can't command him after all , he is under Ken. He allowed his mind to wander off in thought . He looked up at the face of the man before him, Peter Clark also known as Matt .He is also an adult orphan,a libertine just like himself. They are in this together. The victim is involved with the agency and this is a testament to his fear . Nevertheless,he decided to do the job.
" I will do it ' he said.
" Nice try "
" Where does she live ? " he asked.
Matt gave him the address and other confidential,he was able to dig out.
" She's still a newbie in the area ?" Eric asked.
" It took her a while to adjust to living alone."
" She's hardly ever in hardly ever in why?"
" She keeps herself apart from other people " he answered
" Where can I find her ?" he asked
" At the insurance company or at her friend's house "Kate Subway".
" She also has no personal ties to man " Matt added.
" Maybe I can fill that gap"
" You think she will look at your face"
" Doesn't matter, I'm a hot guy dude"
" Not bad , I know you are ,but not seriously her type maybe".
" It also doesn't count , let's move up to Ken's" he said .
They drove off to Ken's house . As they arrived the building. The gate verified them and opened up to let them in .As Ken ascended the stairs ,they looked around when he called.
" You guys good? " he asked
" Yup for the record"
" The feds are digging in,we don't have time" Ken addressed Matt .
" He's good for the job, though not content with the choice of the victim." Matt replied pointing over to Eric.
" Why?".Ken enquired
Eric answered ," She is involved with the agency,an adult orphan with personal ties. It's too complicated."
" Forget the implications,just do the job " Ken interjected
" If you say so "
" Remember U need her alive, avoid anything which can cause her harm." he said
As Ken left the room ,Matt signaled Eric over
" I think,Ken is interested in her "
" What makes you say so?"
" The admiration in his eyes .I haven't seen that with other victims."
" You're rebuffing,my idea of filling her gap " he cautioned
" No offence, time to get to work "
" Yep ,you will stalk her ?" he asked
" Yeah, maybe but not too obvious ".
