Classroom – Morning
Like every day, Kenny had gone to the military camp for class with Vixen Sature.
But when Vixen didn't see Kin Ouren accompanying her, a subtle worry flickered in his eyes.
"Didn't your brother Kin come with you today?" Vixen asked gently.
Kenny, sweet and honest as always, replied with a smile, "No, Brother Vixen. Brother Kin is at home today."
Vixen nodded quietly but remained thoughtful.
A moment later, Kenny's curiosity got the better of her. "Brother Vixen, can I ask something?" she whispered, tilting her head.
Vixen looked at her with a soft gaze. "Of course, Little Kenny. What is it?"
"What happened to Brother Kin yesterday?" Kenny asked, concern laced in her voice. "Why did he suddenly become senseless like that?"
Vixen sighed softly and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry, Little Kenny… As long as I'm here, nothing will happen to your brother Kin."
Then, after a pause, Vixen said seriously, "But I want to ask you something."
Kenny nodded quickly. "Yes?"
"Yesterday… when you and your brother Kin came to see me… do you remember if Kin touched anything strange? Something cursed?" Vixen's tone had shifted slightly — cautious, almost protective.
Kenny's brows furrowed as she thought hard. Then she shook her head.
"No, Brother Vixen. I don't think Brother Kin touched anything wrong."
Vixen gave a slow nod, though the lines on his forehead didn't fade. Something still felt off.
His mind wandered briefly — the spiritual aura from last night, Kin's sudden condition…
He didn't like this.
Still deep in thought, Vixen composed himself, completed the class with Kenny and her village friends, and then decided to visit Kin Ouren — this time, accompanied by Kenny.
