*alarm rings 5am*
"ahh this alarm", yuni slams off the alarm button.
"ohh lord, another day of surviving"
,she jolts off her blanket rubbing her eyes . She draw the curtains open , a beam of light brighten ups the room .
She stares at her reflect in the window with the same old emptiness in her eyes .
She looks at her wrist staring at the scar
" I wonder what story i have for this one ...last time it was that I tripped in the bathroom floor tho ...."
as she was lost in her own thoughts she hears a knock on her door
*knock knock knock *
"yuni are u awake yet ? , be quick or u will be late .. try and reach in time atleast on the first day of college , it puts on a good impression....are u listening to what am saying? " it was her mom
"Yes mom..." , she yells from her room
"good get down once ur ready "
"why not mom....who can deny ur orders .." yuni murmurs .
She quickly gets ready ,with her uniform on she grabs her headset tosses it into her bag and rushes down to the dinning table .
"great u were quick " .
"yeah ,kinda"
she sits on the dining chair
her mom looks at her with breakfast in her hand ,
"*sighs* yuni what's up with your hair!!??"
she placed the plate on the table , with a grumpy expression she says ,
"you almost look like u had no sleep at all ..come I'll make ur hair atleast for the very first day " she moves forward raises her hand over yuni's head .
yuni grabs her mother's hand ,
" what.. am good this way and either ways I am not interested in marking any impression on anyone.. more than that I am planning on not being noticed so I think am in the best form for that "
yuni's mother looks at her with fierce eyes suddenly her eyes goes on yuni's wrist , shocked with a concerned look she asks ,
" what happened did u fell again ?? "
yuni quickly drops her hand hiding the scar ,
" yeah ...i think the bathroom tiles are too slippery for me " .
with regretful eyes her mother gazes at her , " hmm I know ,this is the second time u have faced this , those tiles will be changed very soon.."
she sits beside yuni with hands on the table
" but ...am trying my best , the schedule is a bit overwhelming plus i have plenty of bank work to do , u know how life has been since ur dad."
yuni stands of the chair slamming her hands on the table leaving the statement incomplete,
" I am not asking u for anything mom ...i am seriously not "
yuni's mother holds her hands ,
" I am your mother yuni , i Will do my best to get u everything u want but just .."
yuni jerks off her hands from her mother's, with teary eyes she yells ," you know I don't like talking about it , can't you just stop now ??!!! "
she grabs her bag and leaves the house slamming the door .
She runs down the alley leading towards the central park , she stops beneath a tree and sobs .
wiping her tears she takes out her headset plugs her phone and plays her favourite music in full volume .
* soft music plays*
she takes a long breath and closes her eyes

In between the mesmerising lyrics she hears a faint yell *hey you !! *
*watch out!!*
she opens her eyes with a confused look on her face , spots a guy running towards her . *the ball !!* she hears it again
the moment she removes her headset , she looks up in the sky and spots a basketball coming right towards her .
Quickly she doges it off , the basketball strikes the tree and bounces back to the guy and hits his head .
The guy falls down and sits back with one hand in his head ,
"ouch!!"
yuni rushes towards him , " are you alright??"
He was a tall , fair, black haired good looking guy , he almost looked like a character from a fictional romance novel with multiple piercing and messy wavy hair making him look rouge.
The guy looks at her with a painful expression
" um yeah am good , thanks "
the guy stoods up and looks at yuni he notices the headset around her neck , it was bustling the same song .
" no wonder u weren't able to hear me ..with music that loud .. damn i can hear it till here "
yuni clicks off the pause button , " am so sorry I wasn't in my senses "
" yeah I can surely see that , well it's the very first day of my college and look what have u done to my face !!"
pointing his index finger on the red spot on his head
" what else can I expect from a nerd like u"
yuni glares at him with shocking expressions
"excuse me ? "
he picks up the ball in his hands " yeah u are excused "
shocked with the guy's attitude yuni rolls her eyes .
"later nerd " the guy walks off
yuni looks at her watch '10:00 am' " oh noo no no shit , I am late " saying this she rushes off to her university.
*THE LIGHT BEARERS * says the main gate
yuni rushes over the staircase looking for her class , she then walks down a corridor reading the class numbers sequentially
" 13 c...13 ..c ..where is itt gosh don't tell me it's on another floor "
she reaches the end of the corridor unable to find her class
"ahh as expected I think it's on the next floor "
she slowly starts to walk the other way out backwards ,as soon as she turns she bumps into a guy , she opens her eyes , her eyes layed straight at the bagde saying * Lucus Brown, class president* she looks up it was a guy ,he was a tall good looking hazel eyed guy with a clean look and sleek glasses
" are u alright?"
yuni gets herself together from the
startlement
" huh yeah ...i am so sorry I didn't see u "
" no worries.. i haven't seen u around before , u are new here i believe "
"yeaa i mean just finding my class ..it was a rushy day so .. u know .."
" no issue " , he moves next to yuni bending at her shoulders to see the form," lemme help u out"
" oh sure thanks ..." She opens up the form pointing out the class number "it says 13 c "
" ohh it's that way of the corridor second last class " says lucus pointing out the direction for her
"alright thanks "
"it's fine .. I am lucus by the way nice to see you, and u?" He raises his hand offering a formal handshake
"i am yuni , yuni lin nice meeting u "
*Ringing of the bell *
" ohh I am getting late gotta go thnks again"
"no problem, see u around"
yuni rushes off to her class , she slides the door of the class , the class was filled with a bustle of chats and excitement of the very first day , she looks around the class and spots her friend sammy already waving at her
yuni places her bag on the desk and sits beside her
"ahh finally"
"where were u , i thought u are not gonna come , i even texted u in the morning"
" sorry about that it was a hectic morning today "
"why so ??"
"ahh don't ask about it I'll puke"
"come on spill the tea baby girl " .
The class door slides open there is a sudden silence in the room as the teacher enters the class .
yuni whispers "I'll tell u later " .
