Felix's POV
I lounged in my chair, meticulously crafting my strategy for when I'd finally get my hands on the Lorenzo infant. The anticipation was electric. Suddenly, the door flew open and slammed shut as Clive burst in, practically hyperventilating with panic.
"Evil One, everything's gone to hell!" he exclaimed, eyes wide with terror.
I sprang from my seat, fury rising. "What disaster have you idiots created now? Where's your accomplice with the baby?"
"The whole operation fell apart, Evil One!" Clive stammered, shifting his weight nervously from foot to foot.
"What are you talking about?" I demanded, my patience already wearing thin.
"It bombed, tanked, imploded, went up in flames, totally backfired!" Clive's verbal diarrhea was testing my last nerve.
I advanced toward him menacingly. "Explain exactly what happened, you worthless imbecile."
