Monica's POV
Seven days had passed since I brought my babies home from the hospital. The incident there had left me terrified to venture outside with them, so Dr. Parrish graciously conducted daily house calls to monitor their progress. To my relief, all five were thriving and developing exactly as they should.
Morris hadn't wasted time securing help. He'd hired two experienced nannies on Kayla's recommendation, which proved invaluable after my parents returned to Bellwood. We were gradually establishing a manageable routine. Austin had blossomed into the role of big brother, showering his little siblings with affection. Our evenings were filled with friends who came for dinner and quality time with their godchildren.
"This is completely ridiculous," Darren complained, gesturing dramatically with his fork. "Harvey already knows he's Sienna's godfather while the rest of us are left hanging in suspense."
