Harvey Dale's POV
Scanning the first floor of the hospital, my trained eyes caught a woman slipping into the bathroom. Something about her movement triggered my instincts. I motioned to Officer Cecile beside me and directed her to investigate. I positioned myself outside, alert and ready. A crash from inside propelled me through the door, where I found Cecile straddling the woman on the bathroom floor, snapping handcuffs around her wrists.
"Inspector, she matches the woman from security footage," Cecile announced, hauling the suspect upright. "Different clothes, but definitely her."
"This crazy woman is delusional!" the suspect shrieked.
My patience evaporated instantly. I slammed her against the wall, pressing my gun to her temple. "Listen carefully. Tell me where the baby is right now, or I swear I'll paint these walls with your brains and report you attacked an officer. Your choice, scum."
Though trembling, she managed a cold smirk. "Search me if you want, handsome."
