"This is unbelievable."
Dr. Clayton stared at the blood test results in his hand. Based on this report alone, Wade Wilson had no ailments, only some minor health issues. He slammed the report on the table, opened his computer, and pulled up the blood test results from five days prior. Almost none of the indicators on that report were within the normal range.
The two reports were like those of two different people. If he hadn't watched the entire blood draw process, he would have suspected the blood samples had been switched.
However, the CT scan still showed shadows in Wade Wilson's liver and other areas where the cancer had spread. The cancer cells in his body hadn't disappeared; they were even more severe.
"I need to know what medication you used on the patient! Now, his body can withstand tumor removal surgery and radiation therapy. He has a one in ten chance of being cured! This medication could save thousands of patients who are just struggling and waiting to die!"
Dr. Clayton excitedly grabbed Matt's collar. He knew Matt possessed immense strength. Of the group, he was the only one who could have obtained such a miraculous medication. "If you can cooperate with Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, not only will Mr. Wilson's medical expenses be completely covered, but we will also bring in the best surgical experts for him!"
Matt reached out and pulled Dr. Clayton's hands away from his clothes.
"No comment, Doctor."
The fundamental reason for Wade's astonishing recovery wasn't any medication, but rather the energy of Broly (Green Demon). If you want Broly to contribute to global medical advancements, you might as well convince the president to delete Twitter.
Watching Dr. Clayton's dejected figure disappear, Broly (Green Demon) turned to Matt and said, "I want a sample of Wade's medical reports and the tumor tissue removed during the surgery."
For this meeting, Matt brought a new, rugged phone, eliminating the need to rely on Alejandro for communication.
After properly handling Wade's situation, Broly (Green Demon) had initially considered going to the mainland to look for some suitable prey. But then he thought about it: he had just appeared in New York, and Bruce Wayne was also active there at the same time. This would make it very easy for those with ulterior motives to suspect a relationship between them.
After a moment of hesitation, he hopped onto the Flying Nimbus, preparing to head straight back.
The equipment from Elgie Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was transported to Lasithas Town after incurring significant dismantling and shipping costs.
The steel-structured factory building was completed in no time by a professional construction team, and all the equipment that had been shipped was properly installed in the workshop.
In the clean and tidy workshop, Kade Eagle was meticulously wiping down and maintaining the secondhand machinery, treating them with more care than he did his own daughter. He had entrusted all the farm work to Eclipse and spent his days and nights with the machines.
Tessa watched her father, who had a stubble-covered face but eyes that shone like light bulbs, with some worry. As his daughter, she knew her father's abilities better than anyone. So much money had been invested in this factory, and it was highly likely that it would all be for nothing.
It was alright with her watching over him, but in three days, she would be returning to New York to attend school.
She couldn't quite imagine what kind of strange things a liberated Kade would invent like he had before.
"Tessa, let me show you the first product I've designed during this time. It will be the first step for Tessa Industries to open up the entire American market!"
Kade pulled a hand-drawn design from a pile of draft papers and proudly handed it to his daughter, Tessa.
"What is this? A mobile restraint device for the mentally ill and prisoners?"
Tessa glanced at it and found that the design was surprisingly reliable. If they could leverage their special relationship with the CIA, it might even have a market.
She looked at Kade in surprise. Had her father finally made some progress after all those setbacks?
"What constraint device? This is a treadmill I designed!"
Kade Eagle's face was filled with pride.
"The latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that nearly 4 out of 10 adults have a body mass index that can be classified as obese. The obesity rate for people aged 2 to 19 is currently as high as 18.5%. 'Fatty' has almost become synonymous with Americans. I invented this treadmill to change this situation."
"My treadmill uses a fully enclosed running method. Once the iron cage outside the treadmill is locked, it cannot be opened from the inside. It can only be opened after the preset time has been reached, which can perfectly help users supervise themselves and achieve the purpose of weight loss."
Tessa's face twitched, as if she had been hit with a hammer. She glanced at the design drawing again, wanting to tear it up.
"I've already made a finished product."
Before Tessa could tear up the design drawing, Kade pulled away the canvas covering it, revealing a shiny silver treadmill. The iron cage covering it was incredibly glaring in Tessa's eyes.
"I'm planning to grade the products by changing the material of the outer cage. Stainless steel will be the cheapest, pine wood a bit more expensive, and the top-of-the-line will use walnut."
Kade Eagle said proudly, already imagining the treadmill selling like hotcakes. He owned twenty percent of Tessa Industries, and becoming a millionaire was within sight.
"I have only one request, can you change the company's name?"
Tessa asked her father with a blank expression.
"What are you talking about, Tessa? You and the company are my pride, I will never change the company's name!"
Kade patted the treadmill a bit excitedly, he found that his daughter didn't seem to be very optimistic about the invention.
A burst of air suddenly came from the sky, followed by the whistling sound of airflow.
"Boss is back."
Kade said with a look of surprise, sure that Broly would approve.
"I haven't shown him the treadmill yet, he's going to love it!"
Kade rushed out of the factory, waving frantically at Broly, who hadn't yet landed. Broly flashed into existence in front of Kade.
He crossed his arms, sizing up Kade's new invention while listening to him explain the treadmill's design.
Tessa looked on expectantly, hoping Broly would shoot down this ridiculous project.
"Not bad, Kade, you really are a talented inventor!" Broly said, encouragingly patting Kade on the shoulder. "Build a sturdier one, Kakarot will definitely need it."
Tessa's jaw nearly hit the floor.
"Boss... thank you..."
Kade's eyes were a little moist; this was the first time his invention had received recognition from someone else.
"Don't limit your thinking to just treadmills. We can develop a whole series of fitness equipment. We can have Kakarot be the test subject during the design process."
Broly suggested.
