AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC486: Enemy Of All Gods
Chapter 486: Enemy Of All Gods
After leaving the island of Merisia, Daniel appeared directly in his home. He looked around, let out a calm sigh, then focused his attention on his Spiritual Palace.
At the center of it stood a tree, an ordinary one at first glance, but with indescribable beauty. It looked like the most beautiful thing in both worlds.
But aside from its beauty, the power this tree held was far beyond imagination. After all, it was a tree on the same level as the World Tree.
However, there were questions and problems. First, Daniel had no idea about the tree's full abilities. And second, he didn't know how to use it at all.
The tree was so powerful it could bring the dead back to life, and even enslave the souls of gods.
That was exactly why the gods sealed it away. But the Fallen God had freed the tree, and the two had even become friends — fighting alongside each other against the gods at that time.
Still, that was all the tree had shown him. The real question was — why did the Fallen God fight against the other gods?
Why did he even become the Fallen God in the first place? What had he done to make all the gods turn against him? Obviously, the result was his death or sealing.
"Power?" Daniel's eyes suddenly gleamed as a thought struck him.
Power was most likely the main reason the gods turned on the Fallen God — the overwhelming and terrifying power he possessed.
From that small fragment of memory the tree had shown him, Daniel saw how the Fallen God fought dozens of gods at once — and was actually winning. He was so strong that Daniel could see the fear and helplessness of the gods in front of him.
Most likely, the gods were afraid that the balance of power would collapse, or that the Fallen God would grow ambitious and try to become the King of Gods. So they decided to stop him.
Did it work? Daniel didn't know. He had only seen a small fragment of their battle — nothing more.
Still, even that fragment was enough for him to realize how terrifying the power of the gods truly was. A single careless strike from them could shatter galaxies.
"But how did I even get the Fallen God's bloodline?" Daniel muttered, frowning. "Was it because of the Mother System? No, that seems unlikely."
He knew he had no actual blood or lineage connection to the Fallen God. Yet somehow, he carried the bloodline of the being the gods themselves feared — a bloodline of taboo existence.
He was certain it must have been granted by an external force. But the question was — who?
The Mother System? The Fallen God himself? Or his father...?
Since he lacked enough information, he couldn't make any solid conclusion, so he decided to stop thinking about it for now.
Instead, he turned his last glance toward the tree. It looked weary, as if it had fallen asleep — but Daniel knew it was simply restoring its energy. It wouldn't take too long.
"Maybe I can use it as a source of the Law of Life," he murmured as another idea sparked in his mind, his eyes shining with a hint of excitement.
He had always planned to master all the Supreme Laws, but the biggest problem was the lack of proper Sources.
So far, he had partial mastery over the Laws of Death, Eternity, and Moon. He also had some ideas about the Law of Chaos, but knew nothing concrete — it required research.
Now, with this tree, he could finally start cultivating the Law of Life. For someone like him, who constantly faced life-and-death situations, it could be an incredible advantage.
Then he stood up, changed his clothes, took a shower, and went to see his family.
Although he wanted to begin cultivating the Law of Life, now wasn't the right time. There were still things he needed to take care of, and he would probably have to enter seclusion again soon.
For one, his soul, the Undying Soul of Dragon, had reached 72%. Now it was time to see if he could use his bloodline to push it to 100%.
He was curious what would happen once it reached full completion. Would his soul evolve again? Would it become stronger? And if so, how much?
He also needed to further deepen his understanding of the Laws of Death and Moon. Now that he had reached Rank A, his limits for Law comprehension had expanded significantly.
On top of that, he planned to combine all his Law Sources together — one of the unique features of the Transcendent Scripture.
It allowed a person not only to build multiple Spiritual Palaces but also to merge their Sources, raising the limits of how many Laws and Supreme Laws one could cultivate.
Daniel also felt that by merging all his Sources, he might even solve the problem of the Flower Of Eternity
It had been a long time since he could properly use the Law of Eternity because the Flower had withered. To heal it, he needed to visit the Pagoda of Eternity.
While he would definitely go to the Pagoda eventually, restoring the flower early would benefit him far more, especially since he planned to challenge two Tower Floors consecutively soon. He needed all his power.
Of course, all of this was just speculation. He wasn't sure if merging all his Sources would really solve the problem. He needed to test it.
So, after setting aside those thoughts, he went to see his family. He talked with them, asked how they'd been doing, and what they had done during the week he was away.
When he looked at Alice and Tiana, he could instantly tell their potential had increased, and their strength was nearly triple what it had been a week ago.
They wanted to train with him — basically using it as an excuse to spend more time together — but Daniel had to refuse this time.
He had things to do and no time to waste. After chatting and spending some time with his mother and sisters, he left the house and headed toward the Everlight Moon guild.

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC487: Teaching The Younger Ones
Chapter 487: Teaching The Younger Ones
When Daniel arrived at the guild, he didn't go straight to the guild leader's office. Instead, he took out his phone and called Lana. Even though a few hours had already passed and they should've returned by now, he still wanted to make sure first.
After a few rings, Lana picked up and told him that they had already returned to the guild, though they were a bit busy and he could come to the guild leader's office in about thirty minutes if possible.
Daniel ended the call and entered the guild. Since he had half an hour of free time, it wouldn't hurt to take another look around the place, especially since it had been rebuilt and changed quite a bit after that incident.
He walked slowly through the hallway and headed toward the elevator. Once inside, he looked at the buttons for each floor, thought for a second, then selected the one that led to the guild's Awakened training grounds.
Soon, he reached his destination and stepped out. Looking down from above, he could see many Awakened members training, some practicing alone, others in groups.
He walked down the stairs quietly, but the moment he came into view, the gazes of everyone there turned toward him.
"Hey, look! Daniel's here!"
"What? Daniel? Haven't seen him in ages!"
"Yeah, ever since that incident, he barely comes around anymore."
A large group of Awakened quickly ran toward him and surrounded him, as if afraid he might run away.
"Ha ha, calm down, what's with this reaction?" Daniel laughed, glancing at them.
"Do you know how long it's been since we last saw you? You even promised to train us, remember?" one of them said.
"I did?" Daniel blinked and stared at them with a confused expression. It was clear he didn't remember making any such promise.
Of course, admitting that would be a little embarrassing.
"You forgot?" The rest of the Awakened gave him annoyed looks, as if they couldn't believe what they just heard.
"Of course not. How could I forget something like that?" Daniel smiled shamelessly and lied without hesitation.
"So, what do you say I give you guys a little training right now?"
"Really? That'd be amazing!"
"Alright then, follow me."
He led them to one of the empty training fields. Then, as he checked through his skills, he wondered if there was anything useful enough to teach them.
Unfortunately, none of his current skills would really benefit them. He sighed, then decided to teach them something he had recently tested himself — how to turn their energy into a powerful bomb, the same Death Sphere he had used to wipe out all those wooden titans with ease.
"Watch closely." He raised his hand, and death energy began to flow out from his body. It gathered into a single point, condensing tighter and tighter.
At first glance, it might've looked like an ordinary mass of energy, but with a closer look, it was clear that it was the purest and most refined form of energy possible.
That alone was enough to astonish everyone watching. Even before it exploded, they could feel that if it did, every one of them would be killed instantly.
"To create something like this, you need to purify a sufficient amount of your cultivated Law energy," Daniel explained. Then he began describing the process of purification step by step, along with several ideas and tips on how they could greatly enhance the explosive power of the sphere they created.
All the Awakened listened carefully, like children paying attention to their teacher. It couldn't be helped — to them, Daniel held a special place in their hearts.
After all, most of them had seen him stand fearlessly against Kaelos, watched how even the young lady of the guild, Lana, couldn't defeat him, and most importantly, they had witnessed with their own eyes how he broke the Federation's simulation tournament record and set a monstrous new one.
They still didn't understand why another name had been displayed instead of Daniel's. For a while, many even thought they must've seen wrong — but how could they be mistaken when they saw it happen right in front of them?
Because of that, many believed that "The Fallen," the man who had become so famous recently, was none other than the person standing before them.
The respect and admiration they had for Daniel were beyond words. To them, he was like their idol.
Before long, the training session ended. Daniel called a few of them forward to practice on the field, supervising their movements carefully to make sure they didn't make any mistakes.
"You can also use this as a hidden trump card. If your mana control is good enough, you can mix it in too, that'll make the explosion even stronger," Daniel advised. His students nodded seriously.
After that, he told the others to get up and start practicing what he had just taught them. He watched their progress closely, and once he confirmed that there were no major mistakes and that everyone had more or less learned how to use it, he said his goodbyes.
Almost half an hour had passed, which meant it was time to meet with Lana and the guild leader.
The Awakened, though reluctant, said their farewells as well, asking him to come again if he ever had time.
Daniel then headed straight to the guild leader's office.
Knock knock.
"Come in," a deep, middle-aged voice called from inside.
He opened the door and stepped in. Varnos was sitting in his chair, while Lana stood next to the desk, scanning through some papers.
When she noticed it was Daniel who entered, she smiled and gestured for him to take a seat.
"Well, Daniel, we didn't get a chance to talk earlier. How are you feeling?" Varnos asked, his tone serious but calm.
"I'm fine, Mr. Varnos. Things got a little rough, but fortunately, nothing bad happened," Daniel said, then briefly explained what had occurred in the dungeon. Of course, he oversimplified everything, mostly out of laziness, leaving out many details.
If he had actually explained everything that happened in full, both of them would probably have passed out from the shock.
"I see. So the dungeon's evaluation was wrong. Even though it still falls within the purple-ranked range, it must've been one of the highest-level ones. At least a national-ranked Awakened should've been sent."
"That's right. Still, we managed to clear it by working together, though we didn't get much out of it," Daniel sighed.
"That's fine. The fact that everyone made it back safely is more than enough. Anyway, what did you want to talk about? I'm guessing it's not just about the dungeon." Varnos shifted the conversation.
"You're planning to challenge the third floor of the Tower?" Lana suddenly asked.

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC488: Gulf Of Sumer
Chapter 488: Gulf Of Sumer
Daniel didn't answer right away and instead paused to think. Lana wasn't wrong. Even though he had other plans, challenging the third floor of the Tower seemed the most likely choice for now.
"My plan is to challenge the third and fourth floors back to back, but I have something to take care of in the Gulf of Sumer. I'm not sure which one I should go for first."
"The Gulf of Sumer? What business do you have there, kid?" Varnos suddenly asked in a serious tone.
"It's personal." Daniel was surprised by how serious the Guild Leader became. He'd heard the place was dangerous, but judging from Varnos's tone, it was probably even worse than the rumors said. Still, even if that were true, he had no choice but to go there.
"The Gulf of Sumer used to be a truly beautiful place. Great civilizations and powerful forces thrived there. But after certain unique mines were discovered, the major powers all attacked, each one trying to seize a piece for themselves."
"The demons also grew greedy after seeing that and invaded. Conflicts broke out between the two races, and the result was that the gulf and the surrounding lands turned into a wasteland."
"If you really want to go, I won't stop you, but that place is extremely dangerous—far more dangerous than you might imagine. Before heading there, you should at least reach Rank S," Varnos explained.
"I see. I'd heard it was a dangerous place, but I didn't expect it to have that kind of history." Daniel sighed and nodded, showing that he understood.
The real reason he wanted to go there, of course, was the Eternal Pagoda. After all, it was finally time to rebuild the Religion of Eternity. But before that, he needed to visit the Pagoda and ascend from the successor to the true leader of the Religion of Eternity. Only there could he obtain the complete legacy of Eternity.
Still, he wasn't stupid enough to rush into such a dangerous place. If the Guild Leader said one should at least be Rank S before going, there was clearly a reason behind it.
"Is there still war going on there?"
"It's somewhat calmer now, but every now and then major battles break out between human factions or even between the two races, especially since the area lies between two continents."
"What kind of mines caused such a disaster?"
"Chaos Crystal mines," Varnos replied.
Daniel fell silent. Naturally, he knew the importance of Chaos Crystals. He had seen their value with his own eyes.
He didn't know whether to call it luck or misfortune that such mines appeared in the Gulf of Sumer... though judging by the disaster that followed, it was probably the latter.
"I understand. I won't go there until I reach Rank S. But to challenge the Tower, I'll still need Keys."
"That's fine. The Guild can provide you with two more Keys, but for the fifth floor and beyond, you'll have to find them yourself. The Keys required for those levels are different from normal ones." Varnos gestured for Lana to go fetch them as he spoke.
"Different?" Daniel muttered curiously. He remembered that time in the dungeon when the Rank S Awakened preferred to die rather than use their Keys to leave.
Well, saying they'd rather die might be an exaggeration—more accurately, using a Key to exit the dungeon was their absolute last resort.
He hadn't paid much attention to it back then, but thinking about it now, it was strange. Even knowing they'd have to fight a Rank S opponent at full power, they still refused to use their Keys to escape. Two of the Rank S Awakened even ended up dying there.
"The Keys required for the fifth floor and above are rarer and harder to obtain. They're called Golden Keys, and getting one is extremely difficult. Even we don't have any," Varnos explained briefly.
"How hard are we talking? Hard enough that you'd rather die than use one to escape a dungeon?"
"Maybe. If you're unlucky, you might even die just trying to get one."
"I see." Daniel nodded. It seemed like challenging the fifth floor would take quite some time.
"By the way, when is the NAL taking place? If you want me to participate, I need to make sure I don't lose track of time," he asked suddenly, as if remembering something.
"No need to worry about that for now. The NAL won't be held for another three months," Lana replied as she returned, holding a box in her hands.
She handed the box to Daniel and sat down on the chair across from him.
"Thanks." Daniel opened the box and saw two Keys inside. As soon as he held them, notifications appeared in front of his eyes, and after a few moments, the Keys completely disappeared.
"Our plans have changed a bit," Varnos continued. "There's a chance the country might enter a state of military readiness. Because of that, this year's NAL might be delayed—or we might not participate at all."
At his words, both Lana and Daniel frowned and looked at him with confusion. It was clear even Lana hadn't known about this.
"Those terrorist groups that attacked us on the way back? It seems they're preparing to launch an assault on the entire country," Varnos said with a sigh after seeing their expressions.
"What? How's that possible? How could a bunch of terrorists even dare to attack our country?" Lana asked with a scowl.
"I don't know either, but it's obvious they're being supported by other nations—probably hostile ones. Nothing's confirmed yet. A meeting will be held soon to discuss it."
"Can a terrorist group really be strong enough to threaten our country?" Daniel asked, finding the whole idea absurd.
No matter how powerful they were, there was no way a terrorist organization would have National Rank Awakened or Heavenly Kings among them, right?
"Normally, no. But as I said, they have backers. Still, there's no need to worry. It's unlikely any actual conflict will happen. This is more like psychological warfare and empty threats. Even if fighting does break out, it'll happen beyond the borders, in neutral zones," Varnos replied, calming them both down.
Daniel wasn't scared—he was worried. Worried that something might happen to his mother, Tiana, or Alice while he was away. Because of that, he was now hesitant about challenging the Tower.
But hearing Varnos's explanation eased his mind a bit. Maybe it was better to just increase the number of Fallen surrounding his family. That way, he wouldn't have to worry about their safety.
"Just focus on conquering the third and fourth floors. Don't worry about the rest. The NAL is a small matter anyway—with your power, you won't have any real competition there."
"Got it."
"Anyway, how did things go with The Fallen? Were they as intrigued as we hoped?"

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC489: Fame Of The Fallen
Chapter 489: Fame Of The Fallen
"Haha, you should've seen the faces of those old men. They were completely obsessed with your fake identity. Once the Federation releases their report, they'll probably go even crazier," Varnos laughed loudly.
He had expected his daughter's plan to go well, but not this well. Just one look at those guild leaders and executives was enough to tell that they truly wanted to recruit The Fallen, no matter what it took.
Up until now, they'd already received over a thousand calls to the contact number they left behind — of course, none of them were answered.
"As long as we release two or three more epic clips like that fight between Daniel and that False S Rank, those guilds will go completely insane," Varnos said, still laughing.
He couldn't wait to see their faces when they found out The Fallen was actually a member of their guild. Even the thought of it made him grin.
"Seems like the plan went even better than I expected," Daniel chuckled.
"Not just that — I'm sure our reputation has already improved quite a bit," Lana added with a smirk.
"The news channels already said The Fallen came to the island at our request, to help with the mission. Once the Federation's report comes out and everyone realizes the dungeon was cleared thanks to Daniel, people's view of our guild will definitely change."
"Exactly. This way, we can balance the headlines a bit. Even if the Goblin Guild makes some moves, it shouldn't be too much," Varnos nodded.
"In that case, we should keep boosting The Fallen's reputation. When I'm back from the Tower, I'll record a few more clips," Daniel said, understanding their intent.
Filming wasn't hard for him anyway — he often ended up in dangerous or exciting situations. Recording one or two of them shouldn't hurt, right?
"No need to rush. Quality matters more than quantity. The first video blew up because no one had ever seen something like that — a peak Rank B not only killing a False S Rank, but also wiping out a Corruption Worshipers' base," Lana explained before continuing.
"That's why we should keep the quality top-notch. Every clip has to grab all the attention, just like the first one. If we do it right, we can make The Fallen known worldwide."
"I understand. Don't worry — I already have a few ideas. But you'll have to wait until I get back," Daniel replied with a grin. He didn't mind becoming more famous — if anything, it might help him spread his influence and build the organization he wanted.
After that, they spent several more minutes talking about various topics — mostly about The Fallen, new content ideas, and the current state of the country.
Eventually, Daniel stood up, said his goodbyes, and left. He planned to challenge the Tower tomorrow, so he wanted to spend the rest of the day with his family.
After he left, father and daughter exchanged glances.
"Father, aren't you going to tell him?" Lana asked with a hint of worry.
"About that place? I don't think it would change anything. He'll go there no matter what."
"But it might change his mind," she insisted. The truth was, the danger of the Gulf of Sumer was far greater than what her father had told Daniel.
The real threat was something else entirely — all those mines and wars were just a cover to hide it.
"I saw his eyes. There was determination in them. Nothing can change his mind. Besides, once he comes back from the Tower, we'll talk to him again. I'll tell him then," Varnos said quietly, though he knew even telling him now wouldn't make a difference.
"For now, forget about that. We have more important things to do. If the NAL takes place this time, we have to give it everything and take first place."
"Do we even need to try? Daniel alone could sweep the whole competition. I doubt there's another monster like him," Lana said mockingly.
"Don't underestimate the prodigies from those powerful nations. Maybe one of them really is a monster who can rival Daniel," Varnos replied calmly — though his tone carried no confidence.
A monster like Daniel? If such a person existed, they would've heard about them by now, especially if they were from one of the major nations.
"Anyway, I have to go to a meeting. The president himself and the top government officials called for it. If I'm late, they might take it as an insult."
"I understand. Just don't do anything reckless. Don't pick a fight with the leader of the Goblin Guild," Lana said, shaking her head.
Varnos laughed loudly and didn't reply. His figure vanished the next moment. As he left, Lana sighed. For some reason, her intuition told her the future would be far from peaceful.
At that same time, Daniel had returned home. He told his family about his plan to challenge the Tower and that he might be gone for a while.
They were already used to it and didn't say much — only reminding him to stay safe.
Liana decided to cook her children's favorite meal that night, while Daniel took Alice and Tiana out for some training.
They sparred again — and as expected, the girls lost easily. But it was clear they had gotten much stronger.
He gave them a few pieces of advice, and the three of them went to the dining room for dinner.
The atmosphere was peaceful and full of joy — no stress, no fear, no worries. Seeing his family so happy made Daniel smile as he enjoyed his meal.
After dinner, the four of them stayed up late, talking and laughing together, while Liana told Tiana stories from their childhood.
When it got late, they all went to sleep. Though, Daniel frowned slightly as he felt something.
Two Fallen appeared silently behind him.
"Watch over my family. If anything happens, run," he ordered them before vanishing.
A moment later, he appeared in the sky above his home — where a familiar figure was already waiting.
A beautiful woman stood there, her powerful aura faintly hidden.
"What brings you here, Lady Diana?" Daniel asked with suspicion as his eyes fixed on her figure.

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC490: Unexpected Conversation
Chapter 490: Unexpected Conversation
Daniel stood in the sky above his home, quietly staring at the young woman in front of him. He had no idea why this girl had come here in the middle of the night.
And more importantly, how did she even find their address? Although, on second thought, it wasn't like their home address was hidden.
But the real question was—how did she find out his identity? Every time he had met this woman, he had always worn a mask.
So what was going on? How did this woman know who he was? Could his identity have been exposed at some point? But when? How?
No matter how he thought about it, he couldn't find an answer, and that made him feel uneasy. The only thing he could do was stay calm and, if necessary, kill this woman.
"Relax. I didn't come here as an enemy," Diana said softly, smiling at him.
She had been searching for the people her master wanted for years—and now, she could finally feel that she had truly found one of them.
There was no doubt about it. This man had to be one of those people. He had to be part of the family her master was looking for.
"You came to my house in the middle of the night without an invitation, so don't expect me to think you're a friend," Daniel replied calmly, his tone indifferent.
Diana gave an awkward smile. She knew very well that she had come at a terrible time, but it couldn't be helped. It was her senior sister's order to confirm this man's identity as soon as possible.
As for how she found out that this man in front of her was The Fallen... well, that wasn't exactly easy.
Actually, it was impossible without help.
It was all thanks to her senior sister. When she woke up in the hospital, she immediately called her and reported everything that had happened.
Her senior sister told her that she would find out the man's identity and then hung up. Diana assumed it would take a few days at least.
But surprisingly, only a few hours later, her senior sister called again and said that The Fallen was most likely Daniel Noir—one of the members of the Everlight Moon Guild.
Her senior sister also ordered her to come here tonight to confirm his identity, otherwise she would have preferred to rest.
"Are you the son of Lord Henry?" Diana asked the question her senior sister had told her to ask.
She wanted to just say Henry, but her senior sister had warned her multiple times to use the title Lord—otherwise their master would beat her up later.
As soon as her words echoed, the atmosphere suddenly shifted. The air froze, the temperature dropped sharply, and a coldness wrapped around her entire body. She felt a powerful sense of danger, as if she could die at any moment.
Before she could react, she realized that the entire space around her was sealed off.
Daniel's indifferent gaze turned cold. He stretched out his hand, and a sword appeared in it.
Just looking at that sword made her feel like death itself was standing before her. The scent of death filled the air, and she truly thought she might die here.
"Who are you?" Daniel asked in a chilling voice, his eyes glowing with killing intent.
It was clear that if Diana didn't give a proper answer right now, she would be killed on the spot. In fact, if she hadn't used the word Lord when saying his father's name, she probably would already be dead.
That's right—Henry was his father's name. But it had been a long time since Daniel had heard it. What was strange was that no one besides his mother and sister should have known that name.
Even in his identification records, where a father's name was required, they used a fake name instead. Before he learned the truth, his mother always told him that his father had two names—the official one used in documents, and Henry, the name people called him by.
But once he learned the truth from his mother, he found out that the name on the records was fake, and Henry was actually his father's real name.
Still, no one besides him and his mother should know that. Especially not a woman he had never met before yesterday.
What was more concerning was that his father's identity was a sensitive one. What if this woman had been sent by his father's enemies to confirm his identity?
It sounded ridiculous, but it was still a possibility.
"Wait! Calm down! I'm not your enemy! I was actually sent by one of your father's friends!" Diana said quickly, raising both hands in surrender.
She was genuinely terrified. And even she found that ridiculous. She, one of the top geniuses of the Central Continent, was afraid of a genius from a third-rate country?
She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. If her old rivals ever found out about this, she would become a joke. Just thinking about it made her angry.
But she didn't dare to show even the slightest bit of that anger.
"My father's friend?" Daniel frowned. He didn't believe that right away. He didn't know any of his father's associates, and he couldn't confirm if this was true.
"Do you have any proof?"
Diana nodded and stretched out her hand. A white paper appeared in it.
The paper floated toward him. He took it and looked at it—it was covered in writing. Just a simple sheet of paper.
He began reading it, and with every line, his expression changed—from cold, to frowning, to sighing.
Seeing the killing intent fade away and the tense atmosphere return to normal, Diana let out a breath of relief. Thankfully, it seemed her master's letter had worked.
Otherwise, she might have ended up in serious danger. Though even if she had been attacked, she was confident that she could survive, even if she couldn't win.
"My apologies for my behavior," Daniel said, the letter burning to ash in his hand. He looked at her calmly.
"It's fine. I don't know all the details, but I've heard some things," Diana said with a nod. Her senior sister had already warned her about some of this.
"Where can I meet your master?"
"You'll have to come with me to the Central Continent."
"The Central Continent? Not now," Daniel shook his head. He had too many things to deal with, and besides, he didn't plan to go there until he was strong enough.
Even though this woman's master was supposedly one of his father's allies—or even a subordinate—it was still dangerous to go there.
The Central Continent was where all of his father's enemies lived. It was home to the most powerful beings in the world—a place full of danger, but also of opportunity.
If he went there now with his current strength, it probably wouldn't be an issue. But if his father's enemies realized that he, his mother, and his sister were alive and had returned after all these years, it could turn into a disaster.
Most likely, those enemies already knew about them—but since they were too weak to matter, they simply ignored them.
That wouldn't be the case once he returned to the Central Continent.
Still, he really did need to talk to this woman's master. Only then could he get answers to many of his questions.
"Well... there's another way," Diana suddenly said.

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC491: Third Floor
Chapter 491: Third Floor
"My master can send a projection of herself here. But I need to contact her first and let her know. If she agrees, you can meet her right here," Diana explained.
"Sounds good, then let's do that. How long will it take?" Daniel paused for a moment before nodding.
Given the current situation, it was the best decision.
"It'll take about a month for her projection to arrive."
"That long?" His eyebrows lifted slightly in surprise.
"Unfortunately, there are too many eyes on my master. If she suddenly sends a projection to some third-rate country like this one, it'll attract a lot of attention. That's why she has to do it secretly, and that makes the process take longer," Diana explained briefly.
"I see. Then I'd appreciate it if you could let your master know."
"Sure. Let's exchange numbers so I can contact you when it's ready." She took out her phone.
Daniel didn't really mind and gave her his number. After she saved it, he added,
"I'll be challenging the third floor of the tower tomorrow, so I'll be unavailable for a while."
"The third floor? I thought you'd at least be on the fourth!" Diana looked at him with disbelief.
"Well, I've been slacking a bit," Daniel laughed. In truth, with his current power, even if he said he was already on the fifth floor, people would believe him.
Unfortunately, he had been lazy and put off clearing the tower floors, which was why he hadn't even reached the third yet.
After that, Diana explained a few more minor details to him before saying goodbye. Then, she vanished right where she stood.
After she left, Daniel took one last look at the spot where she disappeared, shook his head, and returned home—though not directly inside.
Using the Law of the Moon and the Law of Death, he created invisible barriers around his house, boosting its security at least fivefold.
Now, even if Diana tried, she couldn't appear in the sky above his house anymore. And if she did, even if she didn't die, she would definitely be on the verge of death.
Of course, he didn't do this specifically against her—it was just that he realized his home wasn't as secure as he thought.
Then he went back to his room, lay on his bed, and let his thoughts drift to the contents of the letter he had read.
The letter contained a detailed summary of what had happened to his father—almost identical to what his mother had told him, but with precise details.
It even included his name, his mother's, and his sister's. But what truly confirmed that the writer must've known his father personally was something else—
The letter mentioned his bloodline.
It said, "I know about your bloodline. You probably have many questions, and maybe you don't know how to use it yet. You might not even realize that your bloodline requires awakening."
He had never told anyone about his bloodline or how mysterious it was—not even his mother—and he always did his best to keep it hidden.
He didn't know why, but his instincts told him that if the world ever found out about his bloodline, they'd do everything they could to hunt him down.
The abilities of his bloodline were beyond words.
He could use the traits of all classes without restriction, while others could only use the traits of their own profession.
It granted him a form of pseudo-immortality—hundreds of extra lives—and each time he died, he could use one to return, as long as his soul wasn't destroyed.
He could also use it to turn living or dead beings into Fallen Ones, gain ten percent of their stats, and even copy one of their skills.
And still, he felt all of this was only a fraction of what his bloodline could do—especially after seeing fragments of the Tree's memories, the Tree that had once been a companion of the Fallen God and now resided within his spiritual palace.
In those fragments, the Fallen God used extraordinary powers while fighting against the gods—powers that clearly originated from his bloodline.
Abilities Daniel currently had no access to, nor any idea how to activate.
But now, after reading that letter, it seemed his bloodline needed to awaken.
How was he supposed to awaken it? That was a question only that woman—Diana's master—could answer.
He slowly closed his eyes and drifted to sleep.
Time passed quietly, and soon the moon gave way to the sun. Its light woke Daniel from his sleep.
After getting up, he took a shower, changed into fresh clothes, and went downstairs, where he found his mother preparing breakfast.
There was no sign of Tiana or Alice—they were probably still asleep.
He walked up to his mother and greeted her.
"Heading out?" Leia asked softly.
"Yeah, but before that, can I ask you something?"
"Of course."
"Do you know someone called Lady of the Eternal Night?" Daniel asked in a serious tone.
"Hm? Sounds familiar... If I'm not mistaken, she was one of your father's subordinates. But I don't know much about her—she was the most mysterious of them all." Leia thought for a moment before answering.
"I see. Thanks, Mom." Daniel kissed her cheek and turned to leave.
"Why do you ask? Wait... where did you even hear that name?"
But Daniel didn't respond—he just smiled and left the house. His body vanished, and a moment later, he reappeared right in front of the Tower.
He looked up at it. The Tower existed everywhere at once—what did they call it again? Absolute Presence?
He really wanted to know what kind of being could create something like this.
Without wasting any more time, he entered. For a moment, the world around him turned black. Then, light surrounded him.
A system message appeared before his eyes:
[ Player Daniel Noir — Welcome ]
[ Do you wish to enter the Celestial Domain? ]
[ Do you wish to challenge the third floor? ]
Daniel selected the second option.

Chapter 492: The Bloody Shore
[ Daniel Noir — Welcome to the Third Floor of the Tower ]
[ Floor Name: The Bloody Shore ]
[ Difficulty: Hell ]
[ Phase One: Find the Crimson Temple ]
[ The Mother System wishes you the best of luck ]
Daniel slowly opened his eyes and found himself lying on soft sand. Cold air blew through the grains, brushing against his body.
The air was chilly, and the sky looked dark. In the distance, he could see the sun setting below the horizon.
A gentle breeze carried the cold from one side to another, making him feel a bit of the chill — which was strange, because as an Awakened, he shouldn't be affected by the temperature at all.
He looked at the notification and quietly read it. As usual, there weren't many details — just a few brief words.
"The Bloody Shore? The Crimson Temple?" he muttered, searching through his memories and knowledge to see if he remembered such names within the Celestial Domain.
The answer was no. He had never heard of places like these in the Celestial Domain. Of course, that didn't mean they didn't exist — the Celestial Domain was vast, and there were many regions he still didn't know.
He closed the notification and stood up slowly, glancing around. As far as his eyes could see, there was only a deserted shore.
The sand and dust covered everything. There was nothing else in any direction.
"Hm?" His eyes fell on the sea ahead of him, and his eyebrows rose slightly in surprise.
The sea was red... like blood? He stepped closer to the shoreline to get a better look, and what he saw was truly astonishing.
The sea had two layers — two distinct colors. One layer was blood-red, and the other was clear, like normal water. For some reason, the two layers didn't mix and stayed perfectly separated.
He lowered his hand to touch the water... but the moment his fingers made contact with the red layer, his hand began to burn and disintegrate completely.
"What the hell—" He quickly pulled his hand back, frowning as he looked at it. The flesh and skin were completely gone.
The bones of his hand were visible, and if he hadn't pulled back fast enough, even the bones would've been dissolved.
He activated [Mana Healing], and his hand quickly returned to normal. Then, he reached out again—this time, touching the clear layer of water instead of the red one.
Thankfully, nothing happened this time.
"So the red layer causes disintegration, while the clear one is normal—agghhh—!" Before he could finish his sentence, a wave of unbearable pain struck his soul.
He immediately pulled his hand back, his mind thrown into chaos as he screamed in agony. His soul burned as if it were being torn apart.
It felt like he was a mortal whose entire body was being burned alive while still conscious. The pain completely overwhelmed his mind.
His eyes turned red, and he nearly lost consciousness. It was as if he was experiencing the suffering of thousands — maybe tens of thousands — of people all at once.
He tried to use [Mana Healing], but it was useless. He collapsed onto the ground, screaming in pain.
Time passed slowly. The sun disappeared completely, replaced by the moon. Fireflies danced in the night sky, illuminating the darkness.
The sky was covered with dazzling stars, and beneath that beautiful night, a young man lay on the ground, his eyes filled with torment.
After hours of unbearable pain, his soul finally calmed down. Even so, he could still remember the agony clearly — enough to make him shiver.
He had never felt such pain before — pain so excruciating that he had actually thought about killing himself just to make it stop.
Thankfully, it was finally over. He slowly stood up, let out a long sigh of relief, and looked around. The shore was still deserted, with no one in sight.
His gaze then fell back on the sea before him. He stood up straight and took a few steps back. He had no intention of touching that cursed thing again.
"Which way should I go?" he muttered, glancing left and right. Naturally, he had to choose one of the two directions.
But there were no signs or clues to indicate which path he should take. The ends of both sides couldn't be seen, and as far as his eyes reached, there was nothing there.
"Should I trust my intuition?" he whispered. In situations like this, following his instincts was always the best option — and his intuition had never failed him before.
To be sure, he activated his spiritual senses, allowing him to see a much larger area. But even then, there was still nothing.
"I'll go right," he decided, turning to the right and moving forward.
The only reason he made that choice was because there was a red star shining in that direction. Among all the bright stars in the sky, only that one had a different color.
It wasn't a logical choice, but he decided to go that way regardless. Naturally, he didn't bother walking — he floated up and started flying.
He didn't want to waste any time. The fastest way forward was the best.
At that moment, after Daniel had left, the sound of the sea no longer resembled waves.
It twisted into a drawn-out, haunting wail — as if the water itself was expelling something... something that shouldn't exist.
From within the eerie, blood-stained sea, lifeless bubbles rose to the surface and then—
Something like a skeletal hand, thin and draped with rotting flesh hanging from its bones, broke through the water.
Then came the sounds the splitting of flesh, the cracking of bones and one by one, they emerged from the sea.
Their bodies weren't entirely real, nor entirely illusionary.
It was as if shadows of flesh and bone were flickering in and out of existence, constantly forming and fading again.
Their hollow eyes emitted a cold, bluish light a glow that split through the night and made the mist around them tremble.
Mouths without lips opened not to breathe, but as if to mimic something that once was called "life."
A wailing sound seeped from their dry throats more felt than heard.
All of them...
All of them turned to look in the same direction Daniel had gone.
Behind them, the sea fell silent once more.

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC493: Burn Them!
Chapter 493: Burn Them!
As time passed, the sky grew darker and darker. The glowbugs that had once lit up the heavens gradually vanished.
Darkness swallowed everything, and even the surroundings were barely visible. The soft sound of the sea waves echoed now and then, mixed with strange noises, noises that seemed to come from the depths of the ocean. Sounds that alone could make any living being shiver in fear.
Daniel had been flying for hours in the same direction he'd chosen, yet he still hadn't reached any sign of civilization, any living creature, or anything that even resembled it.
Slowly, he began to think that maybe he'd taken the wrong path. Unfortunately, the darkness made it difficult to see.
Still, as an Awakened, his vision was much sharper than an ordinary human's. He could even rely on his spiritual senses to perceive his surroundings clearly.
However, keeping his spiritual senses active continuously drained a massive amount of mana from his body. Normally, that wasn't an issue, since he could simply absorb mana from the air to refill his mana reservoir.
But here, he'd noticed that the mana was extremely dense, and his body had a hard time absorbing it.
The time it took to refill even one-tenth of his mana reservoir had increased from one minute to twenty minutes. Because of that, he was forced to limit the use of his spiritual senses.
"Hm?" Suddenly, he stopped and looked back, his expression turning serious.
However, there was nothing behind him. That only made him frown.
"This is the seventh time, and still nothing... am I getting paranoid?" he muttered to himself and kept flying.
He didn't know how far he needed to go to find civilization, but he had no other choice but to keep going. This shore gave him a bad feeling, especially that eerie sea.
The sooner he left this place, the better. Even if it meant burning through a huge amount of mana, he was willing to keep flying nonstop.
Time passed slowly. He couldn't tell how long he had been flying, but the sky only grew darker and darker.
Even the sound of the sea waves faded away until he could hear nothing at all. It was as if complete silence had swallowed the world.
He had already flown hundreds of kilometers and still hadn't reached anywhere. It felt like there was simply no destination to reach.
"Maybe I should wait until morning," he finally muttered, stopping with a sigh. He had already used up a large portion of his mana, and continuing to burn it like this wasn't wise.
The best choice now was to rest a little, to let his mana reservoir refill and wait for daylight so he could see the surroundings better.
After making his decision, he slowly descended. But the moment his feet touched the ground, skeletal hands, with bits of rotten flesh still clinging to them, burst out of the sea and grabbed him, dragging him into the water.
"Damn—!" Daniel's eyes widened as pain surged through his body. His skin and flesh began to rot and fall apart.
He tried to pull himself out of the water, but the hands held him tightly. Worse, within moments, dozens more appeared, clutching at his body, refusing to let him escape.
Before he could even react, all his flesh and skin were completely dissolved, leaving behind only his bones.
But then, even his bones began to decay.
Suddenly, a deathly aura burst from his skeleton, turning all the grasping hands into ashes.
Before he was completely killed, he managed to pull himself out of the water, stumbling back several steps. When nothing emerged from the sea, he immediately activated [Mana Healing].
His flesh, skin, and organs had all been destroyed. Luckily, his soul had remained intact, otherwise, he would've truly died.
As his body rapidly regenerated, he slowly stood back up.
At that moment, dozens of horrifying creatures rose from the sea — skeletal figures with scraps of skin and flesh still hanging from their bones.
They radiated an aura of death, looking like they had crawled straight out of hell. Their eyes glowed with a deep crimson light, as if capable of burning everything they looked at.
What was even stranger was that their bodies seemed unreal, almost illusionary, as if they were just shadows of corpses fading in and out of existence.
"Zombies? Or maybe... Undead? Though they resemble both, they're also completely different," Daniel muttered to himself as he stared at them.
This was the first time he had ever seen such creatures — he had never even heard of them before.
He stretched out his hand, and The Heavens Honor appeared in his grasp. A heavy wave of deathly energy spread through the air.
The eerie beings turned their hollow gazes toward him, then, without hesitation, charged forward.
With a single swing, Daniel cleaved half of them apart. The rest were instantly reduced to ashes by the lunar energy surrounding him.
The moon was still in the sky, and through it, he could easily draw upon the Law of the Moon.
He thought they were dead — but moments later, the ones he had decapitated stood back up and reattached their heads.
"..."
And the ones reduced to ashes? Their ashes drifted back toward the sea, reformed, and emerged once again — exactly as they had been.
Daniel frowned. He hadn't expected this.
Did these monsters possess immortality? No, true immortality didn't exist — but they clearly had something close to pseudo-immortality.
Even though they weren't that strong, their physical strength was terrifying — strong enough to restrain him.
The blade of The Heavens Honor flared as both lunar and death energy surged through it. With several more strikes, he tore them apart again.
But once more, they revived, lunging at him, trying to grab him.
To his surprise, one of them even managed to bite him. Instantly, he turned that creature into ashes.
But as he looked down, his expression darkened, the wound began to spread, his flesh decaying and rotting at a shocking speed.
Then suddenly, a man's voice echoed from the distance:
"Burn them! The only way to kill those monsters is to burn them!"

Chapter 494: Veloran Kingdom
"Burn them? Wait... where did that voice come from?" Daniel frowned slightly as he heard the voice and looked into the distance.
To his surprise, he saw a figure getting closer، if he wasn't mistaken, it was a young man, probably around his own age.
However, before he could say anything, one of those strange creatures suddenly attacked again, trying to bite his neck. Daniel grabbed it with both hands.
This time, he didn't throw it away. Instead, he glanced at his inventory and found an item that could create fire.
He took it out — it was a small ring. He slipped it onto his hand.
Mana burst out from his palms, first white, then turning into pure red and orange.
A strange, howling sound filled the air as a flame was born, an impossibly hot fire that turned everything it touched into ash.
The flames wrapped around the creature he was holding, consuming it completely until nothing was left but ashes.
And this time... it didn't come back to life.
[ You have successfully killed an Undead Sea and ... ]
"So burning them really works." Daniel smiled faintly, lifting his gaze from the notification and turning toward the rest of those eerie creatures, the ones apparently called Undead Sea.
The fire spread across the sand, slithering like living snakes.
The creatures screamed, their voices like the wails of spirits being dragged from their graves.
One of them charged at Daniel, its body made of bones and threads of rotten flesh. Before it could reach him, flames crawled up its legs.
Its flesh evaporated instantly, bones blackened and shattered, leaving no ash behind.
Another wave of monsters emerged from the sea, howling, their decayed claws raised high.
Daniel looked at them indifferently, then a massive wave of silver flames erupted, covering the entire shore.
The sky flickered between light and darkness.
One after another, the creatures were swallowed by the silver blaze.
Their skin and bones melted in an instant, their souls screamed, and then silence fell.
Daniel exhaled, his mana gradually calming down. The flames slowly faded, and the shore returned to its original state. Not even a trace of the creatures remained.
Still, he had gained a decent amount of EXP, not enough to push him to mid-rank A, but better than nothing.
Then his attention turned toward the young man standing a few meters away, staring at him with a mix of fear and disbelief.
"Who are you?"
"Eh? Me? Who am I?" The young man stammered awkwardly, clearly still shaken by what he had just witnessed.
"My name's Drael. I'm a Climber, just like you!" he said quickly, realizing his reaction might've seemed suspicious.
"I see. Nice to meet you. My name's Daniel."
Daniel had already scanned him, the guy was only at high-rank B, not nearly strong enough to pose any threat.
And judging from his name, he was most likely from the Celestial Domain.
"Daniel? What a strange name... sounds almost like one of those Otherworldly ones." Drael muttered under his breath, then his eyes widened in realization. His expression shifted from nervousness to excitement.
"You're an Otherworldly Climber, aren't you? Oh my god, I never thought I'd actually meet one here!"
"I don't think we're that rare in the Celestial Domain." Daniel gave him an indifferent look. The level of excitement the guy showed was a bit much.
"Well, where I come from, you people basically don't exist." Drael sighed but his fascination didn't fade one bit.
"Where are you from?"
"I'm from the Kingdom of Veloran. We're located near the border between two continents."
"Never heard of such a kingdom."
"That's normal. Have you heard of the Elthanor Empire?" Drael asked.
"Of course. I even spent some time there." Daniel nodded, recalling some good memories. Those days were much more stable compared to now.
"Well, we're kind of a vassal state under Elthanor. My kingdom mainly trades in spiritual silk, which is used to make high-grade garments."
"Interesting. Anyway, how did you find me?" Daniel shifted the conversation back to what mattered. He just wanted a brief idea of who this guy was — and so far, Drael didn't seem to be lying.
"A bit further that way, there are some massive rocks. I was resting there when I heard the sounds of those monsters. At first, I thought they'd found me, but then I realized they were fighting someone else." Drael explained, then continued,
"So I decided to take a look — and that's when I saw you."
"Have you fought those creatures before? You seemed to know their weakness pretty well." Daniel asked curiously. Most of those monsters were ranked between B and A, and several were even high-rank B.
There was no way this guy could've fought them — unless he had faced a much weaker group.
Or... his actual strength was much greater than his rank suggested, like Daniel himself.
"Fought them? No way. If I ever ran into those things, I'd already be dead. Whenever I see them, I just run." Drael shook his head quickly, rejecting the idea.
"Then how did you know their weakness?"
"It's simple, I just reasoned it out. I've been here since morning, but they never appeared during the day. I did hear strange noises after nightfall though, which were probably made by those monsters."
"That means they don't act during the day. Naturally, they're either stronger at night, find it easier to hunt in the dark, or have some kind of problem with daylight. Based on the burned areas on their remaining flesh, it looks like those burns never heal — which means if any part of their body is burned, it stays that way forever."
"So I guessed that light probably doesn't harm them, since they don't seem afraid of the moon or the glow of the night orbs. That leaves only one explanation — they fear the heat of the day."
"So, I concluded that fire and burning them must be their weakness."
"..."
Daniel felt a bit of doubt and emptiness. Was it really that easy?

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC495: A Weird Shore
Chapter 495: A Weird Shore
"You figured all that out just by reasoning?" Daniel said after a moment of thought. It seemed this boy was smarter than he looked.
In fact, none of the details he mentioned sounded particularly strange, but they were all so small and specific that most people would overlook them.
After all, there were many monsters that only acted during the night and slept during the day, but it was rare for that to be related to their weakness.
And more importantly, there was the matter of the remaining flesh on their bodies. At first, Daniel had thought it was just part of their species, something like zombies or similar undead creatures.
But now that he thought about it, the fact that only certain parts of their bodies still had flesh while the rest were just bone was... odd.
Yet this boy had managed to deduce all that.
"Yes, but honestly, there was a huge margin of error. A lot of my reasoning had big holes in it," Drael nodded slightly, "but at the time, I didn't have another choice, so I just shouted for them to burn the creatures."
"I see. Still, I should thank you. It was thanks to you that I managed to kill them."
"Wha—no! Don't say that! I just did a bit of reasoning! You were the one who crushed them with your power!"
"Anyway, what's your first phase?" Daniel didn't seem to care much and changed the subject again. Now that he knew the boy was somewhat intelligent, it wouldn't be a bad idea to befriend him.
"I'm supposed to find a place called the Crimson Temple," Drael said after a short pause, as if debating whether he should reveal it or not.
In the end, he decided he had no choice. First, he was weak and had no idea why he'd been brought to such a dangerous place. Second, if both of their first phases were the same, he might be able to ask for help, making his journey easier.
"My first phase is also to find the Crimson Temple, but I don't have any clue where to start looking."
"Perfect! Then we can help each other. Actually, I have a bit of an idea where it might be."
"Oh? Sure, I don't mind. Having a travel companion isn't a bad thing," Daniel said with a faint smile, not refusing.
"So how do you know where the temple is?"
"Well, I don't know exactly, but I've tried to figure out the full size of this shore and form a general image of it in my mind. If I'm not mistaken, we should reach a mountain range soon, and behind that range lies the Crimson Temple," Drael said with a smile.
"You measured the whole Shore? How?" For a moment, Daniel felt a strange emptiness—he didn't even know what to say.
"I have a skill called [Supermind]. It makes my mind much stronger and clearer, allowing me to easily perform any task that depends on intelligence or reasoning."
"In theory, you can estimate the entire length of a shore using the sun and moon and even predict whether there are large formations like mountains nearby. But practically speaking, the human brain isn't powerful enough to handle that. With my skill, though, I can."
"I see. So you're basically a living supercomputer," Daniel said, now looking at the boy in front of him with slight fascination.
"Huh? A what?" Drael looked confused, clearly not understanding the reference.
"Oh, nothing. Forget it. Let's go to those rocks you mentioned. We should rest for the night and continue tomorrow," Daniel said.
The two of them started walking toward the large rocks Drael had mentioned. It didn't take long to reach them.
Huge stones were scattered along the shore. Some were nearly the size of small houses, and the cracks between them could easily serve as good shelters.
Each of them picked a separate gap and settled there. Daniel, not wanting to risk any surprises, created several defensive layers using mana.
Then he sat cross-legged on the ground and entered a meditation state. All he wanted now was to recover the mana he had lost as quickly as possible.
Time passed slowly. The moon gradually disappeared from sight, replaced by the sun. The once-dark sky was now bright, with clouds scattered above.
Daniel slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He wasn't sure how much time had passed, but it clearly wasn't long.
Using his spiritual senses, he checked on his companion and noticed that Drael had just woken up as well.
He glanced at his mana. Fortunately, his mana pool had fully replenished, and there was no longer any deficit. For reassurance, he also checked his soul.
Luckily, there was no significant damage visible on his soul either...
"What's that?" he suddenly noticed a strange blotch on his soul. He frowned slightly and tried to examine it more closely.
"Is my soul... burned?" It looked exactly like that, as if a part of his soul had been burned, though it also seemed to be in the process of regenerating.
He stood up, dispelled all the defensive layers, and stepped outside, letting the sunlight hit him directly.
"It's so hot," he muttered with a slight frown. He could feel the burning sensation on his skin. If not for his physical toughness and the durability of his flesh, he might've been scorched under this sun.
Now he understood why the Undead Sea creatures never dared to come out during the day. This sunlight truly had the power to burn them.
"Ugh, it's even hotter than yesterday," Drael came out too, groaning as he felt the heat.
"This heat is unnatural, just like the cold during the night."
"Yeah, it's because during the day, the sun is much closer to us than it normally should be, and at night, it moves much farther away," Daniel explained.
"So that's the reason, huh? What a strange place," Drael nodded in understanding.
Daniel also nodded but frowned slightly. This Shore was even stranger than he had expected.
Did a place like this really exist within the Celestial Domain?
Or could it be that this wasn't part of the Celestial Domain at all... but somewhere entirely different?
He was starting to think that maybe this place wasn't connected to the Celestial Domain

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC496: Mysterious Mist
Chapter 496: Mysterious Mist
Daniel and Drael flew the entire way under the blazing sunlight toward the mountain range ahead. Since both of their mana pools had fully recovered, they decided to continue at full speed.
Fortunately, no monsters attacked them along the way. On the contrary, it was too quiet, and that in itself made Daniel a little suspicious.
His journey since entering the third floor had been strangely smooth. Even the attacks from last night weren't a big problem; they were resolved easily.
He was starting to feel that something was off. But since nothing had happened and there was no sign or clue to follow, there wasn't much he could do about it.
At this point, all they could do was keep going and hope to reach the mountains, if those mountains even existed at all.
After all, it was just Drael's guess. There was no proof that such a mountain range actually existed.
Time passed slowly. As their mana gradually began to drop, they were forced to reduce their speed.
The sound of the ocean waves grew louder and louder. There was no doubt, if one of those waves hit them, nothing would be left of them.
That's when they noticed a huge mist ahead, as if it was covering something.
"What's that? Hmm... a mountain?" Daniel spread out his spiritual senses and managed to see what was behind the mist.
It was a mountain! A whole range of them! A smile appeared on his face as he looked at Drael. The guy had actually guessed it right.
"Finally... we made it. Though it took longer than I thought," Drael sighed in relief. He had been afraid that he'd been wrong—and that his mistake might've cost them their lives.
They both sped up again, and before long, they reached the mist.
"This mist gives me a bad feeling," Daniel muttered. He didn't know why, but his instincts told him that entering it could be dangerous.
"I don't sense any danger from it, but I get the same feeling," Drael agreed with a nod.
"So what now? It's not like we have another path, right?" His eyes landed again on the thick white mist ahead.
"We go through it. No matter what happens, it won't be able to hurt me," Daniel said confidently. He truly wasn't worried.
Even if there was danger, so what? With his current strength, he doubted anything here could threaten his life.
And even if it somehow could, he still had his extra lives, he could just use one of them.
With that, both of them entered the mist. The dense fog quickly surrounded them and began to weaken their senses.
Before they realized it, even their vision started to fade, they could barely see ahead of them.
Both of them tried to activate their spiritual senses to see more clearly, but to their surprise, a mysterious force prevented them from doing so.
"Drael? You there?" Daniel said with a frown. The worst part was that their senses were continuing to fade even more.
He felt as though ash and dust were filling his whole body. At the same time, a horrible stench filled his nose, messing with his sense of smell.
"I'm here! Where are you? I can't see you!" Drael shouted—not because he wanted to yell, but because his hearing was growing faint, and he could barely hear anything at all.
So he thought maybe he and Daniel had gotten separated and that he needed to shout for his voice to reach him... unaware that his shouting only attracted unnecessary attention.
"Keep walking and don't stop! As long as we keep going, we'll eventually get out!" Daniel yelled back. He was in the same situation—his hearing had weakened too.
Both of them kept moving slowly forward. The further they went, the weaker their senses became. Eventually, Daniel had no choice but to use mana to protect them.
It was clear that whatever was erasing their senses came from the mist itself. As long as it didn't touch him, his senses should've been fine.
So he formed a mana barrier around himself. But it didn't work—the mist passed right through it and touched him again.
A useless effort that only wasted mana.
He had no choice but to walk faster, hoping to escape the mist as soon as possible. But it was unclear how big the mist really was—no matter how far he walked, he never seemed to reach the end.
"When I saw it from outside, it didn't look this big... what's going on?" he muttered, frowning. He clearly remembered that the mist wasn't this vast.
So why couldn't he reach the end no matter how much he walked? Based on his estimates, even in the worst case, he should've exited it ten minutes ago.
But he still hadn't.
Could it be that the mist was expanding? If that was the case... would it ever even end?
His senses had grown so faint that he could barely see, hear, or smell anything. The only thing left visible to him was a faint light flickering in the darkness.
"Drael, you there?" he shouted.
A second passed... two seconds... a minute... two minutes... but there was no response. It was as if no one was there to answer.
"Drael?" he called again, but still, there was no reply.
His frown deepened. For some reason, a chill ran down his spine—he could feel danger approaching.
The problem was, he couldn't see anymore. He couldn't hear. The only thing faintly left was his weakened sense of smell.
Even worse, he couldn't access his skills. He could only rely on his Laws at best.
If he encountered an enemy now, how was he supposed to fight? With nothing but instinct?
In the worst case, he could summon his Fallen. Even if they lost their senses too, at least their presence would make monsters hesitate to attack.
But what Daniel didn't know... was that the danger was already there.
Monsters in the darkness were watching him, waiting patiently for their prey to completely lose his senses.
Their long, sharp fangs were ready to tear him apart. There were too many of them to count, they had surrounded him completely.
And there was one more thing Daniel didn't realize: all this time, he had been walking in circles. He hadn't taken even a single step closer to escaping the mist.

Chapter 497: Seeking Help From Intuition
The mist surrounded him from every direction , not gray, but black, carrying a strange and filthy stench. It covered everything, and nothing could be seen through it.
The ground beneath Daniel's feet was shaking, but he couldn't feel or hear it. All his senses had weakened to their lowest point.
"No sign of Drael, and no matter how far I walk, there's no end to this place... what the hell is this?" he muttered, starting to regret entering the mist.
Maybe they should've searched for another shortcut from the beginning, but it was too late for that now. The only thing he could do was hope that Drael was still alive.
"Hm?" He suddenly felt a strong sense of danger and instinctively drew his sword.
The white aura around the blade flickered like a cold flame, but even that barely illuminated more than a few meters ahead, just enough to act as a faint light.
Still, he knew it wasn't enough. Death energy spread beneath his feet, forming a circular mark around him. He stood still, not moving an inch, trusting his intuition, he was surrounded.
Then came the sounds, the scraping of flesh against bone, the dry laughter, like nails dragged across metal.
Dark shadows began to form and gather around Daniel.
They were something between beasts and humans, their bodies made of damp skin and layers of decaying flesh.
Their heads had no eyes, only open mouths with long, black teeth. From their breathing holes, black vapor leaked out.
They crawled on all fours across the ground, occasionally letting out distorted screams, though Daniel could neither see nor hear them properly.
His sense of danger suddenly grew stronger, it was like they were already attacking.
He held his breath and focused. The only sense that still worked, at least a little, was his smell, even if it was faint.
But their disgusting, rotten odor was so strong that he could still sense where they were.
He raised his sword. The aura flared out, spreading like a wave of light that cut through the air.
Then, a drip. Blood. Something had just fallen to the ground to his left.
Daniel didn't hesitate. He turned and swung. The blade sliced cleanly through something, cutting it in half.
The sound of cracking bones echoed faintly through the mist.
One down.
He could feel it, something had died. He could even sense that his EXP had increased slightly.
Without overthinking it, he kept fighting, relying only on instinct and smell. Every time he sensed the smell of blood, he turned and swung.
His sword left trails of white light, and wherever that light touched, the mist burned away, turning into a red vapor.
The monsters screamed, jumped, and lunged, but none could cross the death circle he had formed.
Even when they managed to reach it, the Law of Death instantly disintegrated them into ashes.
Each time one got close, the sword struck with inhuman speed, slicing through their throats in silence. The only trace left was the spray of fresh, bloody mist.
One of them attacked from behind, its long, whip-like arms lashing out.
Daniel didn't even turn around, he simply swung his sword backward in a diagonal arc.
The creature's body split from its waist to its shoulder, black smoke rising from the wound.
Judging by how easily they were being cut down, he guessed they were around Rank B at best. Every swing of his sword cut through them like butter.
The mist grew denser with each kill, but it no longer felt threatening, it was almost as if it feared him.
Amid the screams, silence gradually returned. The last remaining monsters trembled, stepping back. They turned away, like they regretted attacking and wanted to flee.
Why was this prey so terrifying? Weren't they supposed to be the hunters? How did they become the hunted instead?
If they had known this human was such a monster, they would've never attacked in the first place.
But how could Daniel possibly let them go?
Using his mana, he locked the entire area, preventing anything from escaping. Then, calmly, with half-open eyes, he lowered his sword and walked forward among them.
Each step, a slash. Every swing, a kill. The Death Circle expanded with him, growing wider and consuming everything within. Any creature that entered was turned to ash instantly.
Within minutes, the ground beneath him was covered with melting flesh.
Finally, the aura around his sword faded, leaving only the sound of blood dripping from its edge.
"That should be all of them," he muttered, dispelling the Death Circle and unlocking the sealed area. The sense of danger vanished.
In truth, he didn't need to kill them all, wasting this much mana wasn't ideal. But he was worried. If he didn't eliminate them, they might go after Drael. And honestly, he doubted the kid could survive an encounter with these things.
That's assuming he wasn't already dead.
"Now how the hell do I get out of here?" he murmured, staring ahead. There was nothing but darkness.
He knew that if he kept walking aimlessly, he'd never leave this mist. The only option was to force an exit.
He had noticed earlier, whenever he struck hard enough, the mist around him would momentarily pull back, and his senses would start to recover slightly.
So he reached a conclusion: maybe a full-powered strike could split the mist for a short time. That should give him enough of a window to escape this cursed place.
However, there were still a few problems and variables.
He didn't know the mist's actual size or how much power it could endure.
Before entering, he had taken a look and thought it was small. But once inside, he realized he was completely wrong.
This mist was either enormous, expanding, or had some kind of mechanism that managed to deceive him in some way.
Because of that, his idea might not work as planned.
Now the question was—would it actually work or not?

AWAKENING THE ONLY SSS-RANK CLASS! NOW EVEN DRAGONS OBEY MEC498: Getting Out Of The Mist
Chapter 498: Getting Out Of The Mist
Daniel stopped thinking. In the current situation, this was the only idea that came to his mind for getting out.
As long as he could regain his vision, even for a short moment, that alone would be a huge help.
Before that, he had also tried summoning one of his Fallen, but unfortunately, the moment it appeared, it lost all of its senses as well.
That confirmed there was no shortcut, the only way was to force his way through, though even that wasn't guaranteed to work.
He slowly raised his sword. The blade began to glow faintly with a white aura.
He poured all his strength into this strike. For the first time, he was about to swing with his full power, even he didn't know what kind of result it would bring.
Maybe it would do nothing... or maybe it could split a mountain in half.
No one, not even him, could know until he tried.
He took a deep breath and steadied his stance. Mana surged through his body and quickly gathered into the blade.
Then, with all his might, he swung down the sword, and the blade fell.
Suddenly—
BOOM!
A massive surge of power erupted from the sword. The ground shook so violently it felt like the earth itself was about to shatter.
A huge crack tore through the land, stretching so far that its end couldn't even be seen.
The ground beneath their feet literally split apart, forming a canyon several kilometers deep.
Daniel even had to step back because the ground beneath his own feet had started to break apart.
The entire land trembled, and for a moment, it even felt like the sky itself was shaking in fear.
Under the overwhelming force of the strike, the mist rapidly dispersed.
It only took a few seconds before Daniel felt his senses returning.
He could see again. A small smile appeared on his face.
When he looked at the result of his attack, he was momentarily shocked —
His strike had carved a massive valley and annihilated everything in its path.
But he quickly snapped out of it and, without wasting any time, rushed toward the visible exit.
He poured every bit of strength he had left into running, determined to escape that cursed mist as fast as possible.
It didn't take long for the mist to start returning to its original state.
Seeing that, he pushed himself even harder, he could see the mountain range and the exit up ahead.
He was close, just a little more!
"Huh?" He suddenly noticed a body lying on the ground.
It was covered in blood, and parts of it seemed to be missing.
Especially the limbs, both arms and legs were gone, leaving only the upper body and head.
The face was too bloody to recognize, but Daniel immediately realized who it was.
"Drael... damn it, what happened to you?" He rushed over and picked up the body.
Since it had no limbs, it wasn't hard to lift.
He checked for a pulse, and after sensing that Drael was still alive, he sighed in relief.
Then he boosted his speed again, dashing toward the exit like an explosion.
The mist started to reform, and his senses , including vision, began to fade once more.
He might only have a few seconds left.
He couldn't afford to get trapped in that mist again.
But it seemed like the mist didn't want to let them go, it was trying to drag them back by any means necessary.
Unfortunately for it, the mist was destined to lose!
Daniel took one final step and threw himself forward.
Both of them hit the ground hard, their bodies covered in dust.
But the mist was no longer there.
That terrifying fog was now behind them — they had finally escaped.
Daniel exhaled deeply, gasping for air.
He had finally made it out.
His senses slowly returned to normal — smell, hearing, and sight all coming back.
That horrible, numbing feeling was finally gone.
He lay on the ground for a while, staring at the sky.
It was almost night; the sun was setting, and the air was getting colder.
After confirming that they were safe, no mist, no monsters, he turned his attention to Drael.
His arms and legs were completely severed, the flesh rotten and his breathing faint.
He was just a step away from death.
Daniel placed his hand on Drael's chest.
Mana surged through his body and transformed into life force, flowing through his palm into Drael's body.
His pulse and breathing gradually stabilized.
But when Daniel saw it wasn't enough to fully heal him, he poured in more mana.
A massive amount of mana burst out of him and flowed into Drael.
In moments, new arms and legs began to regrow, and the rotten flesh healed, turning fresh and healthy again.
His pulse strengthened and returned to normal.
Seeing that he was completely healed, Daniel withdrew his hand and leaned back slightly.
Not long after, Drael slowly opened his eyes, looking around in confusion.
The dazed look in his eyes was obvious.
"Where am I? I remember dying... is this heaven? But why is it uglier than I imagined?" he muttered to himself, then turned and saw Daniel.
"Huh? You died too? So we came to heaven together?"
"..."
"We're alive," Daniel said quietly, then explained what had happened , how he saved both of them and escaped from the mist.
"I see... I owe you a lot. Thank you!" Drael said with gratitude, bowing slightly.
"There's no need for that. You helped me once before too. Anyway, what happened to you?" Daniel said as he stood up.
"After I completely lost my senses, I kept moving forward... then suddenly, a bunch of monsters attacked me.I tried to fight back, but... well, you saw how that ended."
"I see. Now that you're better, it's time for us to keep moving."
Drael nodded and slowly stood up as well.
Both of their gazes drifted toward the mountain range ahead —
But then, their eyes widened in disbelief.
It looked as though the peaks of that range... were covered in blood.
