Chapter 11 - Explore The Beauty 2

Then the topic changed, we were talking about funny moments like what things we like and what our interests are.

I came to know that he is very different from others, I felt him to be a normal person who loves to connect and doesn't show off.

He is a different human being, and then finally, while having our breakfast, we laughed and enjoyed ourselves.

For the first time in my life, I saw him being real, deep inside, I could thank God for providing this opportunity to be with someone I could feel myself being connected to.

Then I tricked him and went to the counter for the bill but it was already paid. I looked at him and found him smirking at me.

I walked towards him and asked, "How did you?"

"Don't forget, Ms Evans, I have known you for thousands of years!" He smiled.

"At least we can split!" I said.

"Let's go more is left to explore!" He took my hand and we walked out of the cafe.

As we soon got out of the cafe, I saw the first thing you saw were the small, colourful houses scattered like gems across the frost-touched ground.

Their roofs painted in shades of scarlet red, deep ocean blue, and sunshine yellow stood out against the pale grey sky.

Tiny gardens were enclosed by wooden fences, the flowers wilted now in the autumn chill but still holding a rugged beauty.

Children in knitted hats waved from doorsteps as the van passed, and I smiled instinctively, my breath fogging the glass.

I

didn't even realise when he took the keys from me and sat in the driving seat while I took the passenger seat.

"Wait a second I was the one who was supposed to be driving!" I snapped out.

"Ms Evans, please be my passenger and lemme take you somewhere!" He gently said.

I was touched, and then I replied, "Nope" I captured the steering wheel, and he slid his fingers over both my hands, then caught both my wrists.

"You took advantage!" I said.

"Like I said, I have known for thousands of years!" He put on his glasses and began to drive.

"Now you can leave me!" I told him.

"No, Ms Evans, I would love to hold them until we reach the shore!" He said.

"Is it a reference from a book?"

"I am leaving it for you, Ms Evans!" He smirked at me.

I looked out and saw that we were crossing the city while entering the forest. This was almost like moving out.

Soon the village disappeared behind us, replaced by endless stretches of wild landscape.

Sheep dotted the distance, their woolly white coats stark against the dark earth. A few lifted their heads lazily as I passed, while others nestled close together for warmth.

"Are you kidnapping me?" I asked him.

"Yes, for some time!" His lips curled into a smile, and then slowly he released my wrists while tangling with one of his fingers.

I was getting an electric current over my body, and then I looked outside the window.

"When did you realise?"

"Just 2 years back I came to know about us and everything until I saw the painting.

I thought of finding you, but it isn't easy, so I gave up, and trust me, I was dating at that time....."

"Because of me, you guys broke up!" I completed his statement.

"Well, it's not like that, but you can say that", he didn't deny nor did he clear it.

"What about you?" After a long pause, he said.

"I did dream about us, but your face was completely hidden, and I saw Ethan in my dreams.

I always ignored it because of Brain activity and all, now that after seeing you, and slowly it's unfolding I am seeing us in dreams!" I replied to him.

The silence surrounded us, and neither of us spoke while we looked at the other side. I didn't want us to be silent, but I am confused about what's happening.

I am trying my level best to gain answers, but the road has never been easy. I couldn't stop staring at him and how beautiful god's creation could be.

My heart skipped when I caught sight of a small herd of Iceland horses grazing near the road.

Their thick manes tossed in the wind, and their sturdy frames moved gracefully across the tundra. Some were chestnut brown, others creamy white, and one with a coat so black it seemed to swallow the light.

I wanted to roll the window down and feel the crisp air on my face, but I simply pressed my palm to the glass instead, hoping to capture the moment in your memory.

How beautiful is the plan to match me with the hottest man in the world? Trust me I would love to spend my life around his arms forever.

"So why did you choose this story?" He asked me, breaking the silence.

"I have read this book 'Days at Morisaki Bookshop', it's originally from Japan, and I found some similarities within it.

Though it's not fully that but it inspires the youth and changes the perspective about life"

"Do you add your POV to the script?" He stared at me.

"Yes, because I have felt all these things in my life as a normal person, I know what people can go through during tough times in their lives!" I replied to him while looking out of the window.

"What about you?" I asked him while facing him.

"I felt like working on it was on pause, and then I got to know that you are going there, so I came here!" He turned the car and I could feel the perfect evening light kissing over his face.

Even though he is already fair, the light makes him the brightest star. I was loving the fact of being with him.

Now I wish to be with you forever, but I cannot rush my decision.

"I am sorry for being rude to you yesterday and every time!" I felt like I should say this.

"I don't think it's your fault, I thought about your opinion after all, we come from different worlds and now that I think of you being younger than me.

I can now understand how it feels when suddenly your life takes a turn. I mean you right!" He couldn't express it, but I know how it feels to pour your emotions and feel them.

"I never loved Ethan, he is always a pain, and to be honest, I wish to be separated soon and now that you have come.

Also, things are changing, and I feel like I'm blessed and happy for a second. Though we have to figure out about us," I said, even though he didn't ask, but still, I cleared it.

Then he stopped the car, and I knew it was my fault for bringing Ethan. I couldn't help but curse myself.

Then he stopped and began to search the whole area as if he was searching for something, then he opened the front drawer of the car and found a scarf.

"Found it!" He muttered under his breath.

"What?" I asked him.

I was totally confused by his behaviour. He began to wrap it around my head and shivered.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"Trust me, Ms Evans!"

I do, but still, there is always that 1% of fear.

As far as I remember, it was almost night, and then I felt him stop his car. He quickly opened his door, then he walked out, and I felt him opening mine.

He helped me to get out of the car and slide his fingers over my hand gently. My heart began to beat when we took one step further.

We began to walk and he took me a little further. While holding my hand, I used my other hand to cover my waist because of the cold.

I slightly remember that I have placed my jacket in the car and now I regret it. He felt, I guess, that's why he stopped and placed his leather jacket on my shoulders.

Even though it was way too large for me, I happily accepted it.

"Czech Where.....?"

He placed his soft finger on my lips, and then we walked a little further. The tension in my mind turned into a storm.

We kept on walking until he stopped and then he walked back of me. I kept my head straight still feeling scared.

Then he moved his hands and began to untie the knot he had wrapped around my head a few minutes ago.
