After last night, I was heavily exhausted with the fact that I am stuck between 2 decisions in my life.
I got up and then changed into a comfortable dress, a short body con yellow dress with stockings and a jacket.
I couldn't even remember when I touched down here, did I see the beauty of the city and country?
I can't believe it because of this stupid ideology or dreams have dragged me over the edge of losing my own self.
I am forgetting who I am and now I have decided to enjoy the city while being myself, exploring the land and the valleys.
I walked downstairs and entered the breakfast hall. Trying to find Ava the transport manager of our team.
I spotted her, she was taking breakfast from the server, so I quickly slipped into the line.
"Hey, Ma'am!"
"Oh, Grace! What's up, darling?"
I was nervous and trying to calm my heartbeat because of the sudden decision to ask for something big.
"Well I wanna roam over the city, can I borrow Van?"
"How many are you?" She turned towards me and asked.
"Just me alone!"
"Oh, no need, you can take my car and come back in one piece!" She handed me her car keys.
I didn't think she would trust me with car keys and I was so happy that I nearly hugged her.
"Enjoy Dear!" She said and then got busy with the decision of taking cream puffs or not.
I could be the happiest person in the world, so I walked out and took the keys. Took the driving seat and then I turned the mirror at my side and applied my lip balm.
"Are you always not satisfied?" I heard a soft voice, then I turned towards the back side.
I found him sitting on the backseat, wearing casual clothes, a grey shirt with white pants, wearing a red leather jacket.
"What are you doing?" I had to ask about his surprise appearance. Are we shooting a scene or something? He appeared out of nowhere.
"Thought that I should also join you!" He replied dryly.
"Excuse me!"
"Excused!"
"Listen, Mr Czech give me a perfect reason to take you with me!" I asked him, acting annoyed, but deep inside I am happy to have him.
"I don't trust teens with cars, and plus, you are new to this city, what if you get lost or something?" I felt like he was mocking me.
"Mr Czech Meadows, if you are so scared, why don't you take another car?" I grinned.
"Because it's already taken and I could see this one is vacant!" His excuses annoyed me.
"Since Mr Czech is so experienced and knows many things about this place, why don't you guide me to the city?"
"I knew it, Ms Evans, you would need me this time!" He smirked.
'Nope, you are wrong, I want you every time' I wished to fight back and proclaim this.
"Come on Ms Evans!"
I didn't say anything nor did I accept my defeat and I stared at him 'like this is not over'
Just then he asked me to reverse and then drive out of the hotel. I did and then we began to move across the city.
I continued to look at him, imagining how beautiful he looks in casual when I had always seen him with a Coat in magazines or interviews, and I had seen him in casual during his teens filming 'Mine' series, but it hit differently back then.
Now, during his mid-forties, I can see him wearing formal attire during the interviews, and now seeing him in casual attire makes my heart feel like it's on fire.
"Am I that handsome?" He asked me with a smirk.
"Excuse me?" I shifted my focus to the road while driving.
"I could feel some stares on me, Ms Evans!"
It's just me being surprised how Mr Czech is so quiet!" I had to add some words even though it's senseless.
"Nope, I am admiring my driver!" His lips curled.
"So where to?" I asked him.
"Let's get into a cafe and have something!"
"First time I have ever heard something useful from you!" I mocked him.
"Come to me and I will definitely make your whole life filled with useful resources!"
"On your dreams!"
"Every time you are in my dreams!"
We found a cafe around the corner. Then I parked my car and turned towards him.
"So, my dear passenger, how do you like my driving skills?" I smirked.
"Well, on seeing you have driven well, but ignoring your overtake and not concentrating on the road but on me, which is fine. So I will rate you as 10/10 on the scale!"
"Seriously!" I looked at him, annoyed, because why did he have to make it so hard? Can't he be simple?
He chuckled, "But seriously, I would love to keep you as my personal driver!" And winked at me.
And then we sat across from each other. Then the server came with casual clothes which is a good thing for me because I am not used to lavish life or luxury.
"Chicken Sandwich and juice!" I said.
"Cereal and same juice!" River said.
"Are you a kid?" I asked him.
"Who said only kids can have cereal?"
"Well, grown-ups should have heavy food so that they can fight back!" I mocked him.
"Okay, I accept my defeat!"
I smirked and then the table turned quiet. While I looked out of the window, looking at the Outside, the landscape was achingly still, wide open plains of white snow, scattered pine trees, and distant mountains brushing the clouds.
Even though it's on the edge, it still managed to spot the tiny houses and beautiful landscape for breakfast.
"I am happy you came but....!"
"I won't repeat last night's events!" He assured me.
"I don't want that, to be honest, I think about us more often, I just need time to think about all this.
I know you are being true, but all I could think is that you are rushing it!" I leaned forward.
"I am doing it because I don't want to lose you, you see I am 42 years old.
Even if fate wants us together yet they kept a challenge between us that is the age gap. Earlier, you were married, and before that, we belonged to different occupations. Now that I have found you and about our past, I feel like I have less time.
I know you are thinking it's useless, and I feel you are exhausted, but we are bound to be together, and this lifetime I promised I won't leave you!" He said softly.
"I know Czech and I would love to spend my time with you if...!" I looked down and then paused.
"IF?"
"If we don't rush things. Part of me is happy to have you, and trust me, I have felt many times that we are fated to be together, but right now let's just stay calm and get to know each other and please don't you dare leave me!" I moved my hand across the table and then held his hand.
I smiled at him and let you down. His eyes widened with sudden revelation. It was slipped from my mouth intentionally but I want him to listen.
He moved his hand over my neck, and his fingers held my cheek. I could feel the intensity and that unusual change over my body.
"Ma'am here is your order!" The server came, and then he removed his hand after caressing, gently smiling.
I don't think he is disturbed or anything. I could feel that he doesn't care about anyone even if we are kissing.
