Disclaimer: For people who have no introduction to the world of Record of Ragnarok, I suggest you read the manga or watch the anime to understand the lore about Record of Ragnarok and how the whole thing works before reading this, if you have then you can proceed to read this story.
After the last Ragnarok where humanity managed to triumph over the gods, they gave them another million years to live.
The years have gone and passed by and now, some new gods on the council got bored of humanity and wanted to exterminate them.
Zeus, still being the chairman of the gods, was about to make his final verdict upon the argument until...
Brunnhilde enters and interrupts the session which makes some of the other gods angered, fury in their eyes as they avert their gaze towards her.
"I thought we were clear about this whole shitshow, old geezer!" Brunnhilde scoffed, angered by the ruckus going on in Valhalla.
"Ugh...but I guess it can't be helped, fine if you can't keep it in your pants then fine, I propose another Ragnarok, I will bring an even stronger batch of human warriors that all of the Gods and Valhalla will ever see!!" Brunnhilde exclaimed, her declaration echoing throughout the room.
As Zeus listened to her proclamation of rebellion, he was amused and accepted her challenge, kicking off a new Ragnarok, as he let her pick her off to pick her warriors and he will pick his set of fighters in the match.
After leaving the meeting, Brunnhilde, accompanied by her little sister Goll; they went in search for a representative of humanity, as they made their way to the garden, they saw a hooded figure in green, sitting down, watching over the plants and birds and turned around and saw the two sisters.

"What a nice day we have, fair lady." The green hooded figure chuckled, appearing behind the two girls.
Goll was a little startled and slightly began to back away, which made the figure chuckled.
The hooded figure said as he began to introduce himself. "No need to fret by my startling appearance. I have no intention to hurt you...you may know me as-"
"Robin Hood." Brunnhilde said nonchalantly.
Robin Hood giggled a little, impressed by Brunnhilde's knowledge.
"Listen, we're not here for much chit-chat, so let's get straight to the point, you are going to be the first representative of mankind's 13 strongest warriors that will detest the gods and fight to prevent humanity's extinction." Brunnhilde continued.
Robin Hood simply responded with a giggle just by the thought of it. "Looks like I've got a pretty big burden to carry, but don't worry fair lady, I will do my best to ensure that humanity will prosper."
Meanwhile Zeus along with Hermes and Ares began with planning on who will represent their side to contest against Brunnhilde's chosen fighter.
A voice called out from the group of the gods. "Do not fret Lord Zeus, I will be the one who will grant victory to us fellow gods.

The god was none other than Arjuna, the son of Indra the god of lightning. "I will show that human why they should never incur the wrath of the gods.
