/Flashback/
Prince Hektor was the eldest son, born from King Priam and Queen Hecuba, making him the heir to the throne of the kingdom of Troy.

When he grew older, Hektor became one of Troy's strongest, bravest and skilled warriors.

He also had a younger brother named Paris who would later kidnap Helen of Sparta, the wife of King Menealus, initiating the start of the
Trojan War.

Hektor was married to Andromache and together, they had a son named Astyanax, also known as Scamandarius.

When the war began, Hektor had to leave his wife and son behind as he had to lead the forces of Troy against the forces of Sparta.
"I am truly sorry Andromache, I wish I could spend more time with you and with our son, but alas fate had cruel plans, for I must attend to my duty as the defense of Troy!" Hektor said as he had one last embrace with them before leaving for battle.

One fateful day, on the battlefield, Hektor came across someone who would be known as his greatest opponent of his lifetime, that man was none other than- Achilles, who sought revenge upon the death of Patroclus.

During the battle, both fighters exchanged heavy blows with one another, none of them willing to give up, until Achilles managed to overcome Hektor's attacks and broke through his defense, and killed Hektor.
Hektor began to utter his final words to Achilles. "I know you are what you are, and was sure that I should not move you, for your heart is hard as iron, look to it that I bring not heaven's anger upon you on the day when Paris and Phoebus Apollo, valiant though you be, shall slay you at the Scaean gates..." He died shortly after bleeding out.

His battle with the legendary hero Achilles is forever remembered as one of the greatest rivalries ever to be seen.
