Chapter 21 - 7-

Bruce was back at Stanley's diner. He was in the spare room Stanley had given him, packing his bags and preparing to leave. Once he was done, he turned the lamps off and left the room.

Meanwhile, Stanley had heard someone enter the diner. He came out of the kitchen and informed them that they were closed.

"Oh, come on, Stan. It's Friday night." A girl said.

Upon hearing the voice, Stanley looked up and saw that it was Betty and Leonard.

(0:40:08 - 0:40:28)

"Betty." Uraraka said.

"She might end up seeing Banner if he isn't careful." Shoji said.

"I kinda hope she does see him." Mina said.

"Oh, kids. I got nothing but marinara now." Stanley said.

"Oh, I got to have a Mister Pink, please." Betty said.

"She worked through dinner again, of course." Leonard explained.

Stanley was hesitant for obvious reasons. He glanced at the kitchen door, unsure if he should allow Betty to stay. In the end, he just couldn't say no. He agreed to serve them some food.

Bruce entered the kitchen looking for Stanley. He overheard the voices of two individuals on the other side of the kitchen door and went to investigate.

The voices Bruce heard were Betty and Leonard. Leonard was telling Betty a story. As Betty listened to the story, she saw the kitchen door open in the corner of her eye. When she looked at the door, she saw Bruce standing there. The two had made eye contact before Bruce quickly turned around and left.

(0:40:28 - 0:41:06)

"She saw him!" Toru gasped.

"Now she has to stop him from getting away!" La Brava said.

"You guys really want them back together, huh?" Tsu asked.

"As nice as it would be to see them rekindle the flame, it really is best that he remains out of her life." Midnight said. "Especially when she's already moved on."

Betty, no longer paying attention to Leonard's story, got out of her seat and walked towards the kitchen.

After going through the kitchen, she made her way outside to the back alley. The sound of distant thunder could be heard as Betty looked around. But there was no sign of Bruce.

"Bruce?" Betty whispered, unsure of if what she saw was even real.

Bruce was then shown, hiding behind a dumpster. He had a pained look on his face.

Leonard came outside to check on Betty. He asked her what was going on. She didn't respond and instead went back inside to question Stanley.

(0:41:06 - 0:41:50)

The audience once again felt bad for Bruce. It clearly hurt him, having to hide from Betty. No doubt every part of him wanted to speak to her one last time. At least say goodbye to her before he leaves. After all, he'll be on the run for the rest of his life. This was likely the last time he would see her. Which only made his decision to remain hidden hurt even more.

"Come on... He's right there..." Toru said.

"She was so close... Why does he keep hiding from her?!" Mina asked.

"Because he believes he should." Kurogiri said. "He likely feels that re-entering her life would simply put her in danger. He is trying to protect her."

"But this is his last chance. He should still talk to her, even if it's the wrong thing to do..." Toga frowned.

Back in the diner, Betty approached Stanley.

"Betty..." Stanley began before Betty stopped him.

"Just tell me if I saw what I think I saw." Betty said.

"I don't know what to say." Stanley said.

"Please, just tell me the truth." Betty begged.

Stanley stared at Betty for a moment before taking a deep breath. He knew what he had to say.

(0:41:50 - 0:42:08)

"Yeah! Regardless of what anyone says, she deserves to know the truth." Mina said.

Bruce was walking in the rain. Whenever a car would drive by, he'd give them a thumbs up; indicating that he was fine and didn't need a ride.

However, a car did eventually stop right behind him. He also stopped in his tracks upon noticing this.

The driver of the car was revealed to be Betty. She immediately got out the car and Banner turned around to look at her. The two stared at each other in disbelief. Was this real? Where they really standing in front of each other? After all these years?

(0:42:08 - 0:42:38)

"She found him!" Toru smiled.

"Yes!" Mina said.

"Not that surprising. He wouldn't have been able to get very far on foot." Aizawa said.

Bruce and Betty then ran up to each other and embraced.

As the two stood there, holding each other, Betty looked Bruce in the eyes and begged him to come with her. She didn't want to lose him. Not again.

(0:42:38 - 0:43:11)

"Awwww." The girls smiled.

"Reuniting with a long lost love in the middle of the rain. So romantic." La Brava smiled, tears in her eyes.

Betty was then shown driving home. Once she reached her destination, Bruce sat up in the passenger seat, revealing that he was with her and was likely lying down to remain hidden.

(0:43:11 - 0:43:28)

"At least now Banner doesn't have to stay in the rain." Kaminari said.

"But Betty could get in trouble for this. She's housing a fugitive." Jiro said.

"Maybe Ross will let her off the hook. I mean, she is his daughter after all." Kirishima said.

Now inside the house, Betty closed all the curtains to keep Bruce hidden.

Betty then sat in front of Bruce and handed him a small container. He opened it and found a flash drive inside.

Betty explained that the drive had the data Bruce needed and that she managed to get it before the government wiped the servers clean.

(0:43:28 - 0:43:40)

The audience was surprised by this.

"She has the data?!" Uraraka shouted.

"Then it isn't over. Banner can still find a cure." Inko said.

"It's a good thing she found him after all." Izuku said.

Most of the audience was happy for Bruce. He had hope again. He now has a real chance at finding a cure for his condition. It was nice to see that his luck was finally starting to turn around.

Bruce let out a sigh of relief. There was still a chance. Things might actually work out this time.

Bruce asked Betty if Ross knows she has the data. Betty stated that she doesn't think so, explaining that she hasn't spoken to him in a couple of years. That wasn't good enough for Bruce. He needed her to be certain.

"Bruce, I don't understand why we can't just go in there together and talk to him." Betty said.

(0:43:40 - 0:44:02)

Some of the villains chuckled at Betty's statement.

"Does she seriously think that would work?" Shigaraki said.

"It could work." Kaminari said.

"Only an idiot would think that, Sparky." Bakugo said.

"Ross would arrest Banner immediately. Talking would be a waste of time." Aizawa said.

"He told me what he wanted to do. He wants it out of me. He wants to dissect it so that he can replicate it. He wants to make it a weapon." Bruce explained to Betty.

(0:44:02 - 0:44:12)

"Guess you were right, Kurogiri." Shigaraki said.

"It wasn't difficult to figure out, given the what Ross told Blonsky." Kurogiri said.

"And yet the heroes still defend him." Toga said.

"What Ross wants to do is a bad idea, without a doubt. But between him and Mr. Blue, Ross is the better option." Nighteye said.

"We don't know if Mr. Blue can be trusted. What if he tries to weaponize Banner's Quirk as well?" Iida questioned. "At the very least, we can trust that Ross will use Banner's Quirk to protect people."

"So because Ross has good intentions, he gets a pass?" Trixter shook his head. "My friends, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Does anybody remember Overhaul, hmm? The horrible bastard who is willing to tear a child apart and then put her back together over and over again just so he can weaponize her Quirk. Does anyone remember that?"

The audience became silent.

"Do you know why he wants to do that? It's all for his adoptive father. The former leader of the Shie Hassaikai." Trixter began. "You see, ever since heroes became a thing in your world, the Shie Hassakai have fallen from their position of power in society, much like all other Yakuza groups. Overhaul believes he owes everything to the Shie Hassaikai for taking him in and raising him. He wants to return the Shie Hassaikai to their former glory to repay them. Sounds very noble, doesn't it? He just wants to repay the man who essentially saved him by giving him a home. Such good intentions. Sounds like Ross to me."

"You can't compare someone like Overhaul to someone like Ross." Midnight said.

"And why's that?" Trixter asked.

"Because Ross would never do something as inhumane as what Overhaul did to Eri. Ross is a soldier, not a villain." Midnight explained.

"Like that matters." Shigaraki rolled his eyes.

"Have you ever wondered if maybe you have too much faith in the government?" Trixter asked.

"The government just wants to help everyone. Heroes are proof of that." Thirteen said.

Trixter chuckled a little. "We'll see if you can continue saying that later."

The audience was confused. What was that supposed to mean?

"Anyway, let's continue." Trixter said.

Ross was then shown standing in front of some sort of vault. He typed in a code on the keypad before entering.

As he walked through the room, he approached a specific container. He unlocked and opened the container and took out a vial containing a blue serum.

(0:44:12 - 0:44:57)

The audience was curious as to what Ross was doing. A few did have an idea. Once everyone saw the serum, they realized what was going on.

"That must be the Super Soldier Serum." Izuku said.

"Looks like Blonsky really is going to get a Quirk, if things go well." Melissa said.

Back at Betty and Leonard's place, Bruce was shown getting ready for bed. He walked out of the room and nearly bumped into Betty, who was bringing him some blankets and a razor in case he wanted to shave.

"Listen, I should leave early, as early as I can." Bruce said.

"Really? You can't stay at all?" Betty asked, clearly disappointed at the prospect that Bruce is leaving.

"I want to, but it's just not safe for me to be here." Bruce explained.

Betty simply nodded, knowing that Bruce was probably right, but unwilling to admit it with her own mouth.

(0:44:57 - 0:45:23)

"True. Elizabeth is to close to Ross for Banner to be safe around her. Ross might even have her under surveillance in case Banner ever reached out to her." Spinner said.

"So he's risking a lot by simply being near her." Shoji said.

"He could also mean that it isn't safe for her. He's probably afraid of hurting her like when he first got his Quirk." Izuku said.

Izuku found Banner very interesting. He never new having powers could be so... terrible. He always thought that if he had a Quirk, his life would be a million times better. But what if he was like Banner. What if he had a Quirk just as horrible. His life might actually have been worse if that were the case. Perhaps powers aren't as perfect as he thought they were.

Bruce reluctantly asked if he could borrow some cash, explaining that he would need to take a bus.

Betty agreed without hesitation and only asked that he let her walk him to the station, to which he agrees, all be it hesitantly.

The two then stood there, awkwardly staring at each other.

Betty decided to break the silence. "You have everything you need?" She asked.

"Yeah." Bruce answered.

The two once again stood there in silence. It was clear that they both had more to say. They just weren't willing to say it or didn't know how to.

And so they simply said goodnight to each other and parted ways.

(0:45:23 - 0:46:06)

"Even though they're right in front of each other, they still feel so distant." La Brava said.

Gentle understood Banner's reluctance to get close to Elizabeth again. Banner doesn't want to rope Elizabeth in to his problems. It reminded Gentle of how he was also hesitant to allow La Brava to help him with his crimes. But letting La Brava into his life was the best decision he ever made. Perhaps Banner should allow Elizabeth to help as much as she wants. It could be good for him.

Betty was shown lying in bed, staring at the ceiling. The screen then cut to Bruce, who was doing the same. As the screen continued to slowly cut back and forth between the two, it was clear that Betty was extremely restless while Bruce was contemplating something.

Betty was likely struggling to accept the fact that Bruce had to leave. Bruce, however, was likely trying to prepare himself for the future; planning his next course of action.

Eventually, the two managed to fall asleep.

(0:46:06 - 0:46:33)

"Now they really feel distant." Uraraka said.

"Well, yeah. They're in completely different rooms." Mineta said.

"No, not like that. This scene makes them feel more distant than before." Jiro said.

"Mmmm. I don't see it." Mineta said.

Meanwhile, Ross was in a sort of operating room with two doctors. A shirtless Blonsky entered the room.

Ross explained that Blonsky would be given a very low dose of the Super Soldier Serum, and that if there are any side effects, Blonsky will be taken off the team until he "straightens out".

Blonsky agreed to these terms.

(0:46:33 - 0:46:52)

"Starting with a low dose is a good idea considering how experimental this serum sounds." Power Loader said.

"At least they're being cautious. Hopefully things will go smoothly." Mic said.

"Even if this works, will it be enough to beat Banner?" Todoroki wondered.

"It's hard to say. We've seen how powerful and devastating Banner's Quirk is, but we have no idea what this Super Soldier Serum can do." Momo said.

"We'll just have to wait and see." Sato said.

One of the doctors (Milgrom) began explaining the procedure to Blonsky.

"You'll get two separate infusions. One into the deep muscle, one into the bone marrow centers. The bone ones are going to hurt." Milgrom explained.

(0:46:52 - 0:47:04)

"An injection directly into your bones?" Aoyama cringed at the thought.

"That sounds horrible." Uraraka said.

Blonsky was then seated as the two doctors injected a dose of the serum into both the right and left side of his neck. Blonsky had a slight reaction to the injections, but he was clearly able to tolerate the pain.

Blonsky was then strapped to a sort of stretcher, and was then turned over so that he was facing the floor. The stretcher had a whole in the back which the doctors used to inject the last dose of the serum into Blonsky's spine.

As warned, this injection was far more painful, and Blonsky's face showed it. A loud pop was heard, and Blonsky began to breath a little, calming down.

(0:47:04 - 0:47:33)

The audience cringed as they watched the scene.

Eri was scared by this scene. She didn't like seeing all these needles being stabbed into someone while they're strapped down. She did her best to hide her fear though. She didn't want anyone worrying about her.

It was the next day. Bruce and Betty were now at the Culver University campus.

Bruce, now shaved, was checking his surroundings cautiously. Betty noticed this and asked if everything was okay. After a moment of hesitation, Bruce responded "I think so."

(0:47:33 - 0:47:57)

"It never hurts to remain vigilant." Kurogiri said.

"I don't think I could stand being so paranoid all the time." Ojiro said.

"It comes with the territory." Compress said.

Bruce and Betty began walking across the school campus, making their way towards the bus stop. A storm could be seen approaching.

Betty stopped Bruce and untucked his shirt, saying it was better like that. Then she took off his hat and adjusted his hair a little.

(0:47:57 - 0:48:24)

The audience didn't say much about this moment, though they did find it sweet that Betty was so caring towards Banner. It's clear she doesn't blame him for what happened to her during the first incident.

As Bruce looked at Betty for a moment, he noticed a soldier in the background. As he looked around, he noticed other soldiers approaching.

(0:48:24 - 0:48:32)

"They found him." Izuku said, unsure of if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

"Why can't they just leave him alone?" Toga growled.

"They really should. Any confrontation could lead to him transforming again." Gentle said.

"And that would be bad for everyone." La Brava added.

"It is dangerous to confront Banner, but it's also dangerous to let him roam freely. The military is obligated to capture him, regardless of the risks." Nighteye said.

"They might even have a real chance now, if that Super Soldier thing worked." Kaminari said.

"It'll be fine. They're doomed." Twice said.

"Betty, look at me, look at me! You have to go as far away from me as you can! Don't argue with me, just go. Go!" Bruce quickly told Betty before running off.

"Bruce!" Betty called out to him.

(0:48:32 - 0:48:40)

"At least Elizabeth won't be near him if something does happen." All Might said.

"I wonder why Ross is attacking Banner so openly. Considering how Banner's Quirk works, stealth would be a far better option. This attack seems reckless." Aizawa said.

"Stealth is a waste of time. It didn't even work last time." Bakugo said.

As Bruce ran, multiple soldiers and military vehicles chased him.

Ross was shown inside an APC. "Damn it! We'd have had snipers on target in three more minutes. I wanna know who jumped the gun." He said angrily.

(0:48:40 - 0:48:52)

"So it wasn't poor planning on Ross' part. Someone just doesn't know how to follow directions." Jiro said.

"They may have jeopardized this whole mission right from the start." Momo said.

"This is why it's important that everyone follows a plan to a T. Even a single mistake can cause a plan to fall apart." Nezu said.

Bruce made his way towards the woods, where he probably hoped to lose the soldiers. Unfortunately for him, Blonsky emerged from the woods along with his own squad of soldiers.

Upon seeing Blonsky and the group of soldiers, Bruce immediately turned and ran in a different direction.

(0:48:52 - 0:49:00)

"Blonksy is on the field. I suppose that means the procedure went well." Iida said.

"All right! I can't wait to see him in action." Sero said.

"I'm curious as well. This could be an opportunity to see the capabilities of the Super Soldier Serum." Melissa said.

Bruce continued running as more and more soldiers and military vehicles entered the fray.

Blonsky was shown racing past all the other soldiers with ease.

"Blonsky! Not yet!" Ross yelled through the radio.

Upon hearing this, Blonsky came to a halt and signaled for the other soldiers to stop as well. While Blonsky didn't seem tired at all, the other soldiers were breathing heavily after catching up with him.

(0:49:00 - 0:49:20)

The audience was already surprised by this scene.

"Whoa! He's way faster than those other soldiers!" Toru said.

"It's not as impressive as my brother and I, or any speed Quirk I've seen for that matter, but he certainly is far faster than a Quirkless person." Iida said.

"He also seems to have more stamina than a Quirkless person, considering how exhausted those other soldiers were after running the same distance as him." Izuku noted.

"So it worked then. Blonsky really does have a Quirk now." Todoroki said.

"I still can't believe there's a world where a Quirkless person can get a Quirk." Sato said.

"Could you imagine if something like that happened in our world? People would go crazy!" Mic said.

"Yeah. That would be crazy, wouldn't it?" Trixter smiled.

All Might nervously took a sip of his drink.

Bruce retreated into one of the school buildings as some soldiers followed.

The building appeared to be the school library. As Bruce ran through one of the library floors, he passed by a few people, probably students, and made his way up some stairs to another floor of the library while the soldiers continued to search for him.

(0:49:20 - 0:49:45)

The audience was surprised to see people still in the school.

"Wait. They're doing this while there are still people on campus?! Shouldn't Ross have evacuated everyone before hand?!" Inko asked.

"I imagine they were in the middle of evacuating people when Banner noticed them." Thirteen said.

"Well it does seem like most of the campus is cleared out. They probably prioritized the outside area since the encounter with Banner was supposed to remain there." Momo said.

"That could be why Banner was so suspicious earlier." Dabi said.

Bruce eventually stopped and hid behind a bookshelf. He took the flash drive out of his pocket and stared at it for a moment. He knew what he had to do next, and steeled himself before sticking the drive down his throat.

(0:49:45 - 0:49:58)

"Ugh! That's disgusting!" Uraraka gagged.

"Why would anyone do that?!" Mineta asked.

"It's actually a viable strategy." Tsu said. "Your stomach is a surprisingly safe place to hide stuff."

"But the way he has to get it back is... Ugh. I'm getting sick just thinking about it." Kaminari said.

"Desperate times call for desperate measures." Tokoyami said. "And things sure are feeling desperate." Dark Shadow said.

The soldiers made their way up the stairs and Bruce quickly ran off.

Back outside, Betty was making her way towards the school. She spotted the APC that Ross was in and made her way towards it.

"Stop! Stop!" Betty yelled as she ran in front of the APC, forcing it to come to a halt. "I know you're in there!"

Ross seemed unsure of what to do. He likely wasn't expecting to have to deal with Betty.

"General, please!" Betty begged.

"Sir?" Sparr said, awaiting orders.

Ross seemed to be thinking about how to respond.

"DAD!" Betty shouted, refusing to allow Ross to simply ignore her.

Finally, Ross exited the APC. Betty immediately approached him.

"Dad, please don't do this." Betty pleaded.

"You can't see this clearly. Now get inside." Ross said as he began pulling Betty towards the APC.

(0:49:58 - 0:50:36)

"Can't see this clearly? You want to experiment on her boyfriend. What doesn't she see clearly?" La Brava asked.

"The fact that Banner is also a fugitive." Midnight answered. "Elizabeth is letting her feelings towards Banner cloud her judgement. She's trying to protect a villain, who has caused a lot of damage and killed many people, simply because they used to be together. Ross is right. She can't see this clearly."

"There he is!" A soldier said, causing Ross to turn around and spot Bruce running through a glass overpass.

"Target is in the overpass. We have a visual." A soldier said over the radio.

Ross ordered his men to not engage.

As Bruce ran through the overpass, some soldiers blocked off the exit door. Bruce decided to turn around and run back only for the other door to be blocked off as well. As Bruce looked to his left and right, seeing both doors blocked off by the soldiers, he realized that he had nowhere to run.

(0:50:36 - 0:50:54)

"He's trapped." Compress said.

Shigaraki smiled. "No more running. Time to transform, Banner."

"Hopefully the soldiers can incapacitate him before that happens." Recovery Girl said.

On Ross' orders, two soldiers outside the building fired two gas canisters into the overpass in an attempt to incapacitate Bruce.

In response to this, Bruce took off his over-shirt, and used it to cover his nose and mouth.

Betty, unable to just stand by and watch, ran towards the building with some hope that she could help Bruce. Ross commanded his men to bring her back to him.

Bruce watched as two soldiers ran after Betty. She elbowed the first one in the nose, causing them to fall to the ground. The second soldier managed to tackle Betty. The situation was already stressful, and seeing Betty get hurt was the straw that broke the camel's back. As the gas filled the overpass, Bruce let out one final gasp as his eyes turned green, and he fell backwards and into the gas where none could see him.

(0:50:54 - 0:51:30)

The audience became silent.

"Did... Did they get him?" Mina asked.

No one answered. While most wondered if Ross was successful, a few noticed Banner's eyes turn green, indicating that he was beginning to transform.

Everyone waited silently, unsure of if the gas had worked. Suddenly Bruce's hand smacked against the glass, cracking it a little.

Upon seeing this, Blonsky smiled. He didn't seem worried or scared in the slightest.

(0:51:30 - 0:51:37)

The entire audience knew what was happening now.

"Oh no..." Toru said.

"The gas didn't work. I suppose that means my Quirk wouldn't be very effective against him." Midnight said.

"Now they have to fight him. But after what happened last time, I'm not sure if they can win." Izuku said. "Although they are in a better spot this time around. Back at the bottling factory, they didn't know what they were up against and had to fight him in a closed space. There were a lot of things for them to maneuver around and plenty of objects for him to attack them with. Plus it was dark so he was harder to see. Here, they don't have those disadvantages. They're more prepared. Not to mention Blonsky and his new Quirk. Who knows how that could-"

"DEKU, WE GET IT! NOW SHUT THE HELL UP!" Bakugo yelled.

Izuku jumped. "S-sorry, Kacchan..."

"Is it just me or does Blonsky actually seem happy about this?" Tsu asked.

"He probably is. I bet he wants to test his new Quirk against Banner." Kirishima said.

"Then it's time for a hero vs. villain showdown." Kaminari said.

'A hero? Blonsky? I guess he technically counts.' Bakugo thought.

The way Bakugo saw it, while Blonsky could be considered a hero, they'd never be one of the greats. After all, the greatest heroes are born with potential, born with power. Blonsky was not. He had his power handed to him. It's not like Stark. At the very least, Stark gained power on his own. He made that suit of his himself. Sure, Yinsen helped, but the ideas and designs came from Stark. The Iron Man suit is the whole reason Stark can be a hero. It's basically his Quirk. And Stark was only able to make it because he is a natural born genius. He is a prodigy, not unlike Bakugo. Blonsky though? They're only able to be called a hero because of the power they were given.

Despite Bakugo's thoughts on the matter, he couldn't deny that he was excited to see Blonsky's rematch with Banner.

Bruce slowly began transforming. Once he was done, all the outsiders could see was the silhouette of Hulk in the smoke. Suddenly, Hulk smashed a whole into the overpass, causing some glass and foundation beams to go flying.

The two soldiers who fired the gas canisters immediately retreated. Unfortunately, one of them was hit and killed by one of the beams.

"Now she'll see." Ross said to himself.

(0:51:37 - 0:51:55)

"And so it begins." Kurogiri said.

"Once again, he didn't waste any time killing someone..." Thirteen said.

"Perhaps after this, Elizabeth will finally see just how dangerous Banner is." Nighteye said.

Hulk jumped out of the overpass and onto the field. He glared at the army, and stood tall while letting out a menacing growl.

Almost everyone had a look of shock and worry on their faces. The only one who wasn't worried was Blonsky. In fact, he looked ready.

The two soldiers who had tackled Betty quickly lifted her up to get her away from the battle and to Ross.

Hulk then leaned forward and let out a ferocious roar that echoed like thunder. The force of Hulk's Roar could be felt all the way back where Ross and Betty were standing.

(0:51:55 - 0:52:13)

"Jeez, that's loud." Jiro covered her ears.

The screen suddenly froze. "Bruce Banner; The Gamma Hero: Hulk." Mic began.

"Hero? I think we've established that Banner is no hero." Endeavor said.

"Do you honestly believe you get to say who is deserving of the title of hero, Endeavor?" Trixter glared.

Endeavor glared back. "I AM a hero. So, naturally, I know exactly what it takes to be one."

"You are nothing more than a fake!" Stain said. "The fact that you were given the title of hero just shows what's wrong with society!"

"I don't need the opinion of a-"

"I completely agree Stain." Trixter interrupted. "It really is quite telling that a man like Endeavor can still be called a hero. Even after everything he's done."

The audience was confused. What was Trixter talking about.

"Hmm. But that is a story for another day... or in this case, another time. Present Mic, please continue." Trixter requested.

"Um, alright!" Mic said before continuing. "Quirk: Hulk. Due to a mixture of a Super Soldier Serum and gamma radiation, Banner now has the ability to transform into the being known as Hulk. This transformation is triggered when Banner's heart rate gets to high or when he loses control of his emotions. Hulk possesses incredible strength, speed, stamina, and durability, as well as regenerative healing. Fueled by rage, the angrier Hulk gets, the more powerful he becomes. Talk about anger issues."

Izuku wrote down the description. "Hmm. That's... interesting."

"What is?" Toga asked.

"It's just... The description for Banner's Quirk isn't exactly what I expected." Izuku answered.

"Not what you expected?" Toga questioned.

'It felt as if they were describing Hulk and Banner separately.' Izuku thought.

Izuku wasn't the only one who noticed this. A few others in the audience noticed it too.

"Seriously?! Strength, speed, stamina, durability, and regeneration?! Talk about being lucky!" Kaminari said.

"We already saw him in action once before. We already knew most of that stuff about his Quirk. Why are you surprised?" Tsu asked.

"It's just that hearing it summed up makes you realize how strong he is." Kaminari explained.

"Also all that power comes with the loss of self-control. So it isn't that lucky." Todoroki added.

"Yeah. I guess not." Kaminari said.

Hulk marched forward as Ross ordered Alpha team to engage. On command, Alpha team, who were set up next to a sort of metallic structure (probably some art thing), began firing at Hulk.

The bullets did nothing but irritate Hulk, causing him to turn towards Alpha team, and charge at them. The soldiers did not retreat, and instead continued shooting Hulk.

"Where are the fifty cals? Move your asses!" Ross ordered as a Humvee with a turret attached to it entered the battlefield.

(0:52:13 - 0:52:36)

"Your guns won't do anything you fools." Endeavor said.

"But guns are all they have. There isn't much else that they can do." Momo said.

"They should send Blonsky in. Those other soldiers won't stand a chance without his help." Iida said.

"Ross probably doesn't want to send in Blonsky unless he has to. Plus, wearing Hulk down before having Blonsky take him on is a good idea." Aizawa said.

The Humvee drove alongside Hulk, and began firing at him. Hulk retaliated by running into the Humvee, flipping it over, before continuing his assault on the other soldiers.

Another Humvee entered the battlefield and made it's way towards Hulk and Alpha team.

Hulk drew closer and closer, but the soldiers refused to retreat. Suddenly, Hulk came to a stop right in front of Alpha team, and stomped down on the Humvee that had arrived to help, rendering it useless.

Hulk then grabbed the Humvee, and tried to destroy it by swinging it into the metallic structure. The soldiers retreated under the structure as Hulk continued smashing the Humvee into it.

Once he was done, Hulk dropped the destroyed Humvee onto the ground and ripped out it's engine block. He threw the engine block at another Humvee which ended up sliding into a second Humvee, causing both to explode.

(0:52:36 - 0:53:22)

"Hahahaha! So much destruction! I wish he was in our world!" Shigaraki smiled.

"Get 'em Bruce!" Toga cheered.

Eri felt conflicted. It was the way she felt when Raza and the Ten Rings were killed. She felt bad for Mr. Hulk because she knew he didn't want to kill these people. But at the same time, she didn't like these people. They were like Overhaul. Raza and the Ten Rings got what they deserved. Now, Ross and his soldiers were getting what they deserved. Eri wishes she could be like Mr. Hulk. She wishes she could fight back against Overhaul.

As the battle raged on, two students (Jack McGee and Jim Wilson) approached a distant tree to hide behind while they recorded the battle.

(0:53:22 - 0:53:27)

The heroes sighed.

"And now civilians are staying to watch the battle when they should be running." Aizawa said.

"Honestly, why do people do this? Do they not realize that their lives are in danger?" Thirteen asked.

"Perhaps they just believe that the heroes will protect them." Kurogiri said. "Although in this case, it's purely curiosity. In a Quirkless world, a green behemoth tearing apart the military would certainly garner attention."

"Even in our world, that would get people's attention." Tsu added.

"I would say that Ross should do a better job at keeping people away from the battle, but they're currently dealing with Banner, so it can't be helped." Recovery Girl said.

"Blonsky, now you're up!" Ross ordered.

Upon hearing this, Blonsky discarded his rifle, and took a grenade launcher from one of the nearby soldiers.

"Cover me." Blonsky told the other soldiers before entering the fight.

(0:53:27 - 0:53:35)

"Alright! We're finally gonna see a Super Soldier in action!" Mei shouted excitedly.

While this sort of science wasn't her area of expertise, she still was very interested in seeing the results of it.

"Kick that green bastards ass, Blonsky!" Bakugo yelled.

The audience was both excited and anxious. They were ready to see what the Super Soldier Serum could really do, but they were also unsure of if it would be enough to defeat Banner.

Either way, it was finally time for Blonsky to really be a hero.

As Blonsky approached Hulk, he began firing the grenade launcher at them.

In response, Hulk picked up a piece of metal debris that had been broken off of the metal structure, and attempted to use it as a shield. This sort of worked, but Hulk was still being pushed back by the grenade launcher. So he decided to tear off another piece of metal from the structure. Now wielding two makeshift shields, he was able to completely block Blonsky's next shot. Afterwards, Hulk glared at Blonsky, and growled angrily.

(0:53:35 - 0:53:52)

"Hulk seems to be more intelligent than we think." Izuku said.

"Huh? He's just been attacking things randomly. How is that smart?" Kota asked.

"It might look chaotic, but Hulk is thinking as he fights. He isn't just destroying things. He's being resourceful, using different objects as weapons, even creating a makeshift shield to protect himself from the grenade launcher. He's taking advantage of the environment." Izuku explained.

"Indeed. We witnessed this during the battle at the bottling factory as well." Kurogiri said.

"Hulk isn't acting mindlessly. He is coming up with new ways to combat his enemies." Nezu said.

"Remember me?" Blonsky asked before firing one last grenade at Hulk.

This time, the grenade actually dazed Hulk a little. Blonsky took the opportunity to run up to Hulk, and jump off of their head and onto the structure. Blonsky held onto the structure while taking out his pistol, and firing at Hulk.

Hulk, becoming more annoyed, swung at Blonsky with his 'shield'.

Blonsky reacted quickly and acrobatically, jumping and flipping off of the structure and over Hulk while still shooting at them. Now back on the ground, Blonsky continued shooting at Hulk until his pistol ran out of ammo and he discarded it.

Hulk began swinging both 'shields' at Blonsky, trying to slice him in half. Blonsky managed to duck under one swing, and then flipped over another before falling to the ground.

Hulk took this opportunity, and slammed one of his 'shields' down onto Blonsky. But Blonsky managed to barely dodge it, with the 'shield' slamming right between their legs.

"My God, he's doing it." Ross said, amazed by what he was witnessing. This was the first time anyone had ever held their own against Hulk.

(0:53:52 - 0:54:16)

The audience was extremely impressed by this.

"Wow! Blonsky's actually putting up a fight! They might actually be able to win this!" Sato smiled.

"The light of hope has shined upon us!" Aoyama said.

"Don't get ahead of yourselves. Blonsky can dodge all he wants. He'll never win if he can't do any real damage. He's just delaying the inevitable." Shigaraki said.

"You're not wrong." Izuku said. "The fact that Blonsky is still relying on guns, even when he knows they won't work, means he likely lacks the strength to compete with Hulk. He has to rely on his speed, agility, and reflexes to keep up."

"His only option at this point is to tire Hulk out; maybe outlast his transformation." Momo said.

"But we don't have a clue how long that would take." Ojiro said.

"Exactly. It's impressive that Blonsky has survived this long against Hulk, but he's at a disadvantage." Aizawa said. "I don't think he can win this fight."

With that statement, any hope that Blonsky could stop all this death and destruction had vanished.

"Don't lose hope yet, everyone. A hero will always find a way to pull through in even the most dire of situations. Don't give up on Blonsky just yet." All Might smiled.

Blonsky quickly kicked his feet against the 'shield' to push himself away from Hulk. Hulk continued slamming both 'shields' into the ground multiple times in an attempt to catch Blonsky. Blonsky quickly got up and backed away, unsure of how he should engage Hulk from here.

"Move him towards the cannons!" Ross ordered, realizing that Blonsky was beginning to lose ground.

Hulk began running towards Blonsky while Blonsky quickly turned around and performed a tactical retreat. (AKA: he ran like a bitch)

(0:54:16 - 0:54:28)

At first, the audience was confused by what Ross meant by 'cannons'. Once they saw the two Humvees appear, they realized what Ross was talking about.

"Oh! That's the weapon that Ross requested from Stark Industries." Izuku flipped through his notes. "We never did get a name for it."

"It's called a Stark Sonic Cannon." Trixter said.

"Sonic cannon, huh? That sounds like an invention I can get behind." Mic smiled.

"I'm so excited! I've been wanting to see this baby in action since it was first revealed!" Mei bounced in her seat.

"We saw it for, like, a split second. How are you this excited for it?" Uraraka said.

Meanwhile, Mineta was staring at... a particular place as Mei continued to bounce in her seat.

Two Humvees appeared with sonic cannons attached to them.

Blonsky made his way towards the cannons, running past numerous soldiers while Hulk chased him.

The two Humvees got into position.

Blonsky looked behind him and saw that Hulk was actually gaining on him.

"Do it now!" Blonsky yelled once he neared the cannons.

The two cannons fired. Blonsky quickly jumped into the air, allowing the force of the cannons to push him to the side and out of their radius. Blonsky did still feel some pain from the cannons, and immediately covered his ears for a bit.

Meanwhile, Hulk had been caught completely in the blasts, and he came to a stop. As the blasts from the cannons persisted, Hulk dropped his 'shields', and fell to his knees while covering his ears. For the first time ever, Hulk was in pain.

Blonsky couldn't help but smile at the sight.

(0:54:28 - 0:55:08)

Upon witnessing this, most of the heroes and students felt a new sense of hope. It looked like Banner would finally be stopped and his rampage would come to an end.

Meanwhile, the villains and some others felt dread, anger, or sadness towards this moment.

"Come on! Why are you stopping! You can take bullets, grenades, literally an entire army, but you mean to tell me a bunch of loud noises will stop you?!" Shigaraki yelled.

"Don't underestimate the power of sound!" Mic smiled. "I can tell just by looking and listening that those are some really intense and focused sound waves being fired at him. I could probably make more intense sounds, but I can't focus my Quirk into one small area like those cannons. Having all that force in one small area makes it way more effective at stopping things from moving. It would take a ridiculous amount of strength to push through all that!

"So in other words, they made a weapon that's better than you are at your own Quirk." Aizawa summarized.

"GAH! W-well that all depends on how you define 'better'." Mic said.

"Come on Bruce... Don't give up. Keep fighting..." Toga pleaded

"No... Please, no..." Eri begged.

Eri was on the verge of tears. Mr. Hulk really might be captured. Then they'll hurt him, torture him. Eri knows how that feels. She doesn't want anyone to go through what she has gone through. Mr. Hulk might be a monster, and maybe he deserves to be experimented on. But even still, no one should experience something so horrible, no matter how much they deserve it.

Betty grabbed Ross by his arms. "Please, please, please, no!" She begged.

"Get her back!" Ross ordered as his men pulled her away from him.

"Please, please, please! You're killing him! Stop!" Betty cried out.

(0:55:08 - 0:55:16)

"Wait, will that really kill him?!" Mina asked.

"Nah. It'll hurt, sure, but it shouldn't kill him. Not while he's transformed, anyway." Mic assured.

Hulk heard Betty's cries and looked in her direction. His vision was blurry, but he could still see her and most importantly, he could still hear her. Somewhere, within the depths of Hulk's mind, Bruce could hear her calling out to him. He and Hulk could not give up yet. They had to keep fighting. For her.

With newfound determination, Hulk's eyes began to glow, and his rage grew. He began to move, grabbing the two makeshift shields, and getting back on his feet.

The onlookers couldn't believe what they were seeing.

(0:55:16 - 0:55:38)

The villains began to smile. Hulk wasn't done fighting yet.

Meanwhile, everyone who hoped that Hulk would be stopped became concerned.

"Um, he's not stopping." Mineta said.

"Is he seriously just gonna power through this?" Iida questioned.

"No way! He's strong, but there's no way he can get through this!" Mic said worriedly.

"He can and he will! He's doing it for Betty!" La Brava said.

"He really is. I noticed his eyes glow when he heard her call out to him. Maybe that's an indicator that his power is increasing." Izuku noted.

"Yeah! Go, Bruce! You can beat 'em!" Toga began cheering.

Hulk used one of the 'shields' to protect himself from the constant blasts. It still hurt, but the 'shield' was nullifying the blasts a little, giving Hulk a chance to get his bearings.

Hulk then threw the other 'shield' at one of the cannons, slicing the entire Humvee in half. Now able to move, Hulk jumped into the air and onto the last cannon, crushing it.

(0:55:38 - 0:55:55)

"Seriously!" Mic gaped.

"He used the debris to shield himself long enough to launch a counterattack. Once again showing his intelligence." Compress said.

"That was the closest they got to beating him and it still wasn't enough..." Jiro said.

"Can... Can they even beat him at this point...?" Kirishima wondered.

"It's over! He's an invincible monster!" Mineta yelled.

"Tch. I doubt Ross has anything else up his sleeve. I hate to say it, but this fight is over." Aizawa said.

"Maybe now they'll realize how stupid this was and leave." Kota said.

Seeing that the cannons failed, Ross decided to call in a gunship.

(0:55:55 - 0:56:03)

"He just survived your secret weapon, what do you expect to do at this point." Shigaraki chuckled.

Shigaraki couldn't help but find the General's desperate attempts to stop Banner amusing.

"At this point, he should just give up and retreat." Gentle said.

Hulk was about to walk away when Blonsky picked up a rifle off of a dead soldier, and began firing at Hulk, who simply used the 'shield' to block the bullets.

Blonsky then discarded the rifle and walked right up to Hulk. The two stood face-to-face. Hulk was towering over Blonsky, but Blonsky didn't seem the slightest bit shaken.

(0:56:03 - 0:56:15)

"What is Blonsky doing?" Melissa asked.

"Continuing to fight when he shouldn't be." Nighteye answered.

"You heroes never know when to give up." Shigaraki said.

"Is that it?" Blonsky taunted.

"Blonsky, pull back now. Pull back!" Ross ordered.

Blonsky instead removed his earpiece, ignoring Ross' orders. He then looked back up at Hulk, who looked ready to crush him. "Is that all you got." He continued to taunt.

(0:56:15 - 0:56:26)

The audience couldn't believe what Blonsky was doing.

"And now the fool is taunting him." Endeavor shook his head.

"He really must have a death wish." Dabi said.

Hulk growled before delivering an effortless, yet devastating kick on Blonsky, sending them flying across the field and face-first into a tree. Blonsky's body fell back, motionless.

(0:56:26 - 0:56:33)

The audience was speechless. They couldn't believe what they just witnessed.

"Oh... my God..." Koji said. (Koji Koda is the shy and quiet student in class 1-A. I've decided to use his first name now since his last name is so close to Kota's name)

"Blonsky..." Inko said.

"No..." All Might said.

Sure, the audience had seen Hulk kill multiple people before, but this felt different. This time he killed a hero. A hero who had been chosen to receive a Quirk, all so he could stop a dangerous villain. And despite all that, the villain won. The hero failed. And now, that hero was likely dead.

All Might felt terrible. What happened to Blonsky is something he always fears happening to him. What if he ever failed to stop a villain. He had been chosen to receive One For All and he had made good use of it so far, but what would happen if he failed. That's why he needs to find a successor. He knows that he can't do this forever. So someone needs to be ready to take his place. He just needs to find them.

"There's really nothing they can do, is there...?" Toru asked.

While Toru and Mina were initially rooting for Banner, they couldn't ignore the death and destruction he had caused, especially when one of the victims was someone they had actually gotten to know and not just some random soldier.

"M-maybe... Maybe they can call Iron Man. He could help." Kaminari suggested.

"Has Stark even become Iron Man yet?" Shoji said, unsure of when this battle takes place.

"Yes, actually. In fact, this takes place a few months after the events of Iron Man." Trixter explained.

"Then Iron Man really could help!" Mei said, excited about the idea of seeing Stark again.

Eri didn't like that. She would love to see Iron Man again, but she doesn't want to see him fighting Mr. Hulk. (Sorry, Eri. But it's coming) Would Iron Man really do that? Would he hurt Mr. Hulk? No... He wouldn't, right?

"But would he be enough?" Shoji asked.

"Of course not. Hulk would crush Iron Man." Shigaraki said.

"Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but Iron Man is a little busy dealing with something else right now. He can't help." Trixter said.

"That's a shame. Ross could really use him right now..." Thirteen said.

Ross looked on at Blonsky in disappointment. He ordered his men to fall back, having finally realized that any chance of winning this battle was gone.

Leonard arrived on the scene and witnessed the military retreating. What really caught his eye though was Betty slowly approaching Hulk.

(0:56:33 - 0:56:46)

"Why is she going towards him?!" Ojiro asked.

"Does everybody have a death wish?!" Mineta asked.

Hulk looked around a little and spotted Betty. The two simply stared at each other for a moment.

Ross, not realizing that Betty was on the field, ordered the gunship to fire at Hulk.

(0:56:46 - 0:56:58)

"Wait! You can't fire yet! Betty's right next to him!" Kirishima said.

"I don't think he knows." Iida said.

"Bruce?" Betty whispered.

Rather than being hostile towards Betty, Hulk looked at her calmly and he began to relax.

(0:56:58 - 0:57:04)

The audience was surprised by this moment. Hulk actually seemed... calm.

"He's not attacking her." Uraraka pointed out.

"Maybe he recognizes her." Toga suggested.

"Hmm. You might be right. I remember in the beginning of the film, after Hulk accidentally injured Betty, he tried to reach out to her but he didn't attack her. Maybe he recognized her back then as well and tried to help her." Izuku said while making note of Hulk's behavior towards Betty.

The gunship approached and locked onto Hulk. Unfortunately, they couldn't see Betty due to her being obscured by Hulk. The gunship began firing at Hulk, who quickly used his body to cover Betty and protect her.

Ross then realized that Betty was on the field. "Stop firing!" He yelled.

Hulk threw the last 'shield' he was holding at the gunship, tearing off the rotor, and causing the gunship to come crashing down. As the gunship crashed, it slid across the ground and towards Hulk and Betty.

Hulk once again covered Betty using his body in an attempt to protect her. The two were engulfed in flames from the wreckage.

"NOOOO!" Ross yelled, fearing that his daughter may have died.

(0:57:04 - 0:57:31)

The audience was worried for Betty and was surprised when Hulk attempted to protected her.

"Betty!" The audience shouted, unsure if Hulk had saved her.

"He protected her." Midnight said.

"It seems Hulk truly does recognize Elizabeth." Nezu said.

Stain was pleased with this scene. When Banner decided to help Martina, he showed that he was willing to meddle when he didn't have to. When Banner tried to keep his heart rate in check while being chased by Blonsky, he showed that he puts others before himself. And now, Hulk had shown that he was capable of saving lives. Banner was on the right track to being a true hero. Now, all he needs is a chance. An opportunity to truly earn the title. Once that time comes, Banner's decision will determine if he is worthy.

Rain began to pour out of the sky.

Leonard was on the ground, likely due to the explosion from the gunship crash. He looked shocked. He couldn't believe that Betty might be dead.

Ross looked devastated. He looked like he might burst into tears. He might not be the best father, but he clearly loves his daughter. This moment is proof of that. This was the first time the General had shown any real emotion.

Hulk then stood up from the wreckage, holding an unconscious Betty in his arms. She was mostly unscathed. Hulk had successfully protected her.

Ross couldn't believe it.

(0:57:31 - 0:57:55)

"Is she okay?" Inko asked.

"I think so. She doesn't appear to have received any serious injuries." Recovery Girl said.

"Then Hulk really did save her." Jiro said.

The audience wasn't sure what to think. Until now, Hulk had been shown to be a horrifying monster. He had caused so much death and destruction. But now, for the first time since the start of this film, Hulk had actually saved a life.

Eri was the most surprised by this. Mr. Hulk was like her. He has a horrible power and he hurts so many people without meaning to. But now, he managed to use his power to save someone. Eri didn't know something like that was possible.

Hulk looked at Ross, and growled.

Ross was shaking, likely overwhelmed by the fact that he nearly killed his own daughter. And the person he has to thank for her survival is the man he's been hunting for so long.

Hulk left with Betty in his arms.

The Battle at Culver University had finally come to an end.

(0:57:55 - 0:58:10)

"Great job, idiot. You almost killed your daughter." Kota said.

"You're lucky Bruce saved her. Maybe now you'll leave him alone." Toga said.

"Don't be ridiculous." Aizawa said. "Hulk saving one person does not mean he can be forgiven for all the deaths he's caused."

"Indeed. Hulk is still a major threat. He still needs to be captured. Ross will just have to be more prepared next time." Nighteye said.

"Are you serious?! Bruce has done nothing but try to avoid transforming! Any time he has, it's been because of Ross! He didn't mean to kill anyone, yet you blame him for all those deaths! But when he actually saves someone, you just ignore it?!" Toga said.

"One good deed will not erase his crimes. He is a villain. Without question." Endeavor said.

"Is he a villain?"

The audience turned towards the voice and saw that it was Izuku.

"I-I-I'm just... a little unsure." Izuku said.

"An excellent question Midoriya. That brings us to this films BIG QUESTION!" Trixter said.

Everyone looked at Trixter with a confused expression.

"Big question?" Power Loader questioned.

"It better not be math. I love math!" Twice said.

"Do you all remember when we watched Iron Man and I asked you how you would deal with a corrupt organization?" Trixter asked.

Everyone nodded.

"Well, people seemed to like that question and suggested I ask you other important questions. So I've decided to make it a part of each film. Every time we watch a film, I will ask you a question that relates to the film itself and we will have a discussion about the question." Trixter said.

"Okay..." Kirishima said.

What Is A Villain?

"Now then, the question I have for you all is a simple one." Trixter said. "What is a villain?"

The audience thought for a moment. What is a villain? The answer is obvious.

"A villain is someone who harms the innocent. They break the law and disrupt society. They're evil. Plain and simple." All Might answered.

Pretty much everyone agreed with the Symbol of Peace.

"Hehehehe. Evil. All villains are evil, huh?" Trixter shook his head and then looked at the villains before turning back towards All Might and the heroes. "Don't assume you know everything. There is always another side to the story." Trixter said in a surprisingly serious tone. "Is Banner evil?"

"Well... No. No, he isn't." Uraraka answered.

"He just has a dangerous Quirk. He isn't a bad guy." Kirishima said.

"Then he isn't a villain, correct?" Trixter asked.

"Wrong. He is a villain. He has killed many people. His morality does not change anything." Nighteye said.

"Precisely. Having good intentions does not undo all the damage he's caused." Aizawa said.

"But he never got a choice." Izuku said. "He's just... unlucky. That's all. Can he really be blamed for everything when he has so little control over it?"

"As unfortunate as it is, his uncontrollable Quirk can't be used as an excuse. He's a danger to the world around him whether he wants to be or not. That's just how it is." Midnight said.

"Right. If anything, Banner's uncontrollable Quirk just gives more reason for his capture. It's what makes him so dangerous." Endeavor said.

"Why...?" Eri spoke.

The audience turned towards Eri and saw that she was crying.

"Why do you keep talking like Mr. Hulk is bad...? Like he's wrong..." Eri asked. "He's just... He's just scared... That's all... Ross wants to capture him and hurt him and keep him trapped... Mr. Hulk just wants to be free... But you all keep calling him dangerous, saying he's wrong for fighting back... He didn't ask for any of this, so why do you keep acting like he's the monster?!"

The audience didn't know how to respond to that. They simply sat there in silence, thinking about what Eri had said.

Toga was the first to break the silence. "See. Eri understands completely. Bruce hasn't done anything wrong. Ross has. Why can't any of you see that?" She said to the heroes.

No one responded. While it would be nice to say that Eri had gotten through to everyone, that wasn't the case. In fact, few were swayed by her outburst. Everyone who disagreed with Eri felt that she simply didn't understand the situation well enough. But she is a child. There is no reason to argue with her over it.

"It seems to me like the whole 'being evil' part of being a villain is completely irrelevant. You say a villain is evil, but you also say Banner is a villain even though he isn't evil." Trixter summarized. "I won't tell you what you should believe. Whether Banner is truly a villain or not is up to you to decide. What's really important here is that you learn what a villain really is. That is what this film will show you. Then you can come up with your own answer."

With that statement, the film continued.

Later, after the battle, Leonard was shown at home, sitting on the porch while rain poured down.

Ross and some soldiers were leaving the house with boxes of items, likely belonging to Betty or Bruce.

Ross stopped on the porch, and approached Leonard.

"You did the right thing, calling us." Ross said.

(0:58:10 - 0:58:22)

"Huh?" Toru questioned.

"He called them?" Melissa asked.

"Yes. Leonard became worried when Banner came back into Betty's life. It was a mixture of jealousy and genuine concern. This led to him informing Ross of Banner's location. And you see how that turned out." Trixter explained.

"So the bastard ratted him out." Dabi said.

"I was wondering how Ross was able to locate Banner." Kurogiri said.

"I need to know where they're going. She'll be in incredible danger as long as she's with him." Ross said.

"From who? He protected her. You almost killed her." Leonard said.

(0:58:22 - 0:58:35)

"Exactly. She's safer with him than with you." La Brava said.

"He just saved your daughter's life and you're still acting like he's a threat? How ungrateful can you be?!" Toga asked.

Ross promised that Betty's safety was his primary concern.

Leonard stood face-to-face with Ross. He stated that he can tell when someone is lying, and Ross was lying. "I don't know where he's going. I know she'll help him, if she can." He said.

"Then she's aiding a fugitive. And I can't help either one of them." Ross stated.

(0:58:35 - 0:59:00)

"Really? But that's your daughter." Tsu said.

"It doesn't matter. If she really intends to help Banner, then Ross has no choice but to arrest her." Mic said.

"Although he might go easier on her since she is his daughter." Recovery Girl said.

Ross walked away.

"I used to wonder why she never talked about you. Now I know!" Leonard said.

Ross paused for a moment, thinking about Leonard's statement. He then continued walking towards his Humvee. "Where does she meet these guys?" He asked himself as he got in the Humvee and it drove away.

(0:59:00 - 0:59:22)

"Seriously." Aizawa said.

Hulk was shown still carrying Betty. They were walking through a forest, the rain not letting up.

(0:59:22 - 0:59:26)

"Hulk." Izuku said.

"Betty." Toru said.

The audience was curious of how Betty was and where Hulk had taken her.

Hulk eventually found a small cave for him and Betty to stay in, free from the rain. He gently laid her down in the cave. He then looked closely at her face, seemingly checking to see if she was okay.

(0:59:26 - 0:59:50)

The audience remained silent as they were fascinated by what they were seeing. This was the first time Hulk had seemed so... gentle. He actually seemed concerned for Betty's well-being. It was a side of him they didn't think existed.

Betty seemed to feel his presence, and began to stir. She opened her eyes just as lightning struck and saw Hulk's face directly in front of her. This of course terrified her, and she instinctively pushed him away.

Her sudden action startled Him, and caused him to stumble backwards, hitting his head on the cave's ceiling. He then stood outside the cave, holding his head, seemingly embarrassed.

(0:59:50 - 1:00:04)

The audience chuckled a little.

"Yeah. I'd be scared too if I woke up with that staring at me." Mina said.

"I think we all would." Kaminari said.

Betty, having calmed down, took a step towards Hulk. "Bruce?" She said, unsure of if it was really him.

Hulk looked back at Betty, and took a step towards her as well.

The two stood there for a moment, staring at each other while the rain continuing pouring down, mirroring the moment when Bruce and Betty reunited.

Suddenly, some lightning struck, startling Hulk. He instinctively grabbed a boulder and threw it into the sky, before letting out a thunderous roar.

Betty tried approaching Hulk, but he just held out his hand, signalling that she should stay back.

(1:00:04 - 1:00:38)

"He's trying to protect her." Uraraka said.

Everyone found this interesting. While in this form, Banner is supposed to be an uncontrollable beast of pure rage. But he is somehow calm around Betty. He wishes to keep her safe. Somehow, she is able to bring out Banner's true personality.

As All Might watched this scene, who couldn't look at Banner as a villain. All Might has faced many villains in his life. He understands what a villain is. Regardless of what Trixter says, a villain is evil. That is a fact. Banner is far from evil. Banner is no villain. His arrest might be necessary to keep people safe, but that does not mean he deserves it.

Betty continued to slowly approach Hulk. "It's okay. It's okay." She said, trying to calm him down.

It was working. Hearing Betty's voice allowed Hulk to relax a little. Betty then grabbed his hand and pulled him back into the cave.

Once inside, the two sat together. Hulk let out a sigh of relief.

"It's okay." Betty whispered. "It's just the rain."

(1:00:38 - 1:01:44)

As the audience watched this scene, they thought back to what Eri had said. He's just afraid. This scene made it clear that Hulk was not lashing out at things purely out of anger. There was also fear. He was almost like a cornered animal. Back at the bottling factory, he told the soldiers to leave him alone. As he fought them, he looked for a way to escape as well. He wasn't trying to fight. He was trying to run. At the University, he only attacked the soldiers who attacked him, ignoring everyone else. And once Betty got hurt, and the battle stopped, he could have continued his rampage. But instead, he just left, no longer wanting to fight. And now, here he was unleashing his rage on a storm simply because it startled him. So many of his actions are driven by fear. This scene made that much more clear.

Back with Ross, a doctor was informing him on Blonsky's condition as they entered a medical room.

"Will he ever walk again?" Ross asked.

"Most of the bones in his body look like crushed gravel right now." The doctor explained as he opened the curtains to Blonsky. "I will say this for him. He's got a heart like a machine. Never seen anything like it, outside of a racehorse."

(1:01:44 - 1:02:00)

"They must be talking about Blonsky." Iida said.

"Then he's alive?!" The students asked.

"Apparently. Although from the sounds of it, he won't be fighting ever again. Not with those injuries." Recovery Girl said.

"I'm impressed he even survived." Dabi said.

"I wish he didn't." Toga said.

"Me too." Eri whispered.

"His survival can probably be attributed to the Super Soldier Serum." Kurogiri said.

"That serum is crazy. Even I would've been seriously hurt by that kick, and that's with my Quirk." Kirishima said.

Ross slowly approached the hospital bed, and Blonsky's battered, bloody, bruised, and unconscious body was fully shown.

(1:02:00 - 1:02:14)

The audience was disgusted.

"Oh my goodness. It's worse than I thought." Recovery Girl said.

"This is actually even better than him being dead." Shigaraki chuckled.

Eri immediately felt bad for what she had said. She hated Blonsky, sure. But it was a lot harder to hate him when he was like this.

Ross, showing next to know emotion, simply nodded and left, having confirmed Blonsky's condition.

Blonsky's fingers began to twitch. His hand then balled up into a fist, and one of his eyes snapped open.

(1:02:14 - 1:02:27)

"What?!" Melissa questioned.

"He can move, even in that condition?!" All Might asked.

"That's a shock. I'm surprised he's even conscious, let alone able to move at all." Recovery Girl said.

"It seems the serum has made him far more resilient." Nezu said.

"Does that mean he'll be okay?" Sato asked.

"No. Regardless of how resilient he is, he'll never recover from those injuries. It would take a very powerful Regeneration Quirk to do that." Recovery Girl answered.

It was now the next day. Betty woke up next to Bruce, who was no longer transformed. Given that he was shirtless, Betty wrapped her coat around him to keep him warm.

(1:02:27 - 1:02:50)

"Banner's back to normal." Jiro said.

"Hmm. So his Quirk deactivated overnight. I'm still not sure how long the transformation lasts, but I'd say at least a few hours." Izuku noted. "Although it could have ended early due to Betty calming him down."

Betty is then shown at a motel, where she had just rented a room for her and Bruce to stay in. She walked over to Bruce, who was sitting down and leaning against a wall next to some vending machines. He looked like a mess.

(1:02:50 - 1:03:03)

The audience felt a little bad for Banner. This scene was reminiscent of when Banner had to sit on a sidewalk, begging for money. The difference here though was that he wasn't alone anymore. He had Betty to support him.

Betty and Bruce then made their way into their room.

Bruce was shown taking a shower. While in the shower, he had a flashback to the battle at Culver University. This caused him to fall down in the tub, where he laid there, breathing heavily.

(1:03:03 - 1:03:30)

"A man running from an inescapable past." Tokoyami said. "It always catches up to you." Dark Shadow added.

Betty had returned from a trip to get some clothes for Bruce. When she entered the room, she could hear Bruce vomiting in the bathroom.

(1:03:30 - 1:03:40)

"Ugh. Is he-" Mina began.

"Getting the data out? Yep." Tsu said.

Most of the audience green at the thought.

"Bruce?" Betty said.

Bruce then came out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth. "Oh, hi." He said.

"Are you okay?" Betty asked.

"Yeah. Yeah, actually, I feel a lot better." Bruce answered. "I just had to get my data back." He said as he held up the drive.

"You ate it?" Betty asked.

"Well, you know, the circumstances called for a little improvisation." Bruce said.

(1:03:40 - 1:04:10)

"Sometimes a little improvisation is all it takes to really pull off a trick." Compress said.

"And it did work. He managed to keep the data safe throughout the entire battle." Todoroki added.

"Told ya." Tsu said.

Betty then went on to show Bruce some of the stuff she had bought for him. The first thing she gave him was a new heart monitor watch.

He was surprised and grateful for the gift.

(1:04:10 - 1:04:19)

"That'll certainly be useful for monitoring his heart rate." Power Loader said.

"I kinda forgot how important his watch was." Kaminari said.

"Well, his Quirk seems to trigger when his heart rate reaches 200. So knowing his exact heart rate is very helpful." Izuku pointed out.
