Synopsis
Kana was just an ordinary, introverted girl—quiet, withdrawn, and bullied for her "unusual" sexual preferences. Rejected by those around her, she took refuge in online games, hoping to find acceptance in a world where names and faces didn’t matter. But even there, judgment found her. When her party discovered her secret, the harassment returned—only now, it followed her into the one place she thought was safe. Broken and exhausted, Kana decides to quit the game… and give up on life entirely. Just as she’s about to end everything, a strange message flashes on her screen: “Would you like to live the life you’ve always dreamed of?” It sounds like a scam. But with nothing left to lose, Kana accepts. Moments later, she awakens in a body she doesn’t recognize, in a world she’s never seen— A place of magic, adventure, and powerful women drawn to her for reasons she can’t yet understand. More than anything, this is a world that offers Kana what she thought she’d lost forever: A second chance in a world with people that accept her for who she is. ___ A lot of yuri.

Chapter 1 - Ch 1: A Second Chance

Kana sat by the window, eyes on the clouds outside. The lesson had ended ten minutes ago, but she hadn't moved. Her pencil was still in her hand, untouched.

The other students didn't notice. Or maybe they were pretending not to.

No one called her name. No one even looked her way.

Not anymore.

A group of girls passed her desk, whispering too loudly to be a coincidence.

"…She's still here?"

"Ugh. Gross."

"Shouldn't she just transfer already?"

Laughter followed, muffled but sharp.

Kana didn't flinch. She just stared at the window, fingers gripping the edge of her desk until her knuckles turned white.

She waited until the room emptied. Then, finally, she stood. Her legs felt heavy, like they didn't want to carry her anymore.

Her bag was light—she had stopped bringing books weeks ago. No one noticed that either.

The hallway was louder than the classroom. Chatter, footsteps, the slamming of lockers. Kana kept her head down. Eyes forward. Invisible.

She made it home without a word.

Her room was small and plain. A desk, a single shelf with dust on the corners, and a bed with the sheets never quite tucked in. The only thing that felt alive was the glowing monitor on her desk, already waiting for her.

She didn't take off her shoes. She didn't eat. She just sat down, slid on her headset, and logged in.

___

At home, she didn't speak. No one else was there anyway.

She entered her room, shut the door gently, and sat down in front of her PC. Her fingers moved by habit: power on, headset over ears, login screen.

Valisgate Online greeted her with warm colors and soft music. Her avatar loaded in—white robes, soft eyes, a gentle smile. Level 43 priestess. Support class.

The only place where she could be useful.

Her party was waiting:

ZedKill, arrogant and always cracking jokes.

SweetMage, full of energy and quick with sarcasm.

TankLord69, blunt and always focused on loot.

They weren't close, but they were steady. She didn't need closeness. Just consistency.

[ZedKill]: About time you logged in lol

[SweetMage]: Healer-chan, we're counting on you~

[KanaChan]: Sorry! had to stay behind at school. I'm ready now.

She smiled, even if no one could see it. This was enough.

They started the dungeon. Kana played flawlessly. Her heals were timed perfectly. She revived ZedKill once, and they even said "thanks." Her heart jumped.

But between floors, the chat shifted.

[ZedKill]: Hey, random but is it true you like girls IRL?

Kana's hands froze.

[SweetMage]: Wtf, for real?

[TankLord69]: No way lol

[ZedKill]: Nah someone DM'd me. They said it's on a forum now. Some old chatlog.

Her vision blurred. She felt lightheaded.

She hovered over the logout button—but didn't click it.

Instead, she typed slowly.

[KanaChan]: …Yeah. I didn't think it mattered.

There was a long pause. Then:

[SweetMage]: Lol ok… just don't get any weird ideas around me

[TankLord69]: Damn… figures the quiet ones are always hiding something

[ZedKill]: Lmao don't simp for me healer, I'm not into freaks

Her throat tightened.

Still… a few players nearby waved. One even whispered "you're brave".

For a moment, Kana thought—maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

She logged in the next day.

Someone had drawn lewd graffiti on her character's avatar using glitch items. Another player started following her around, barking emotes like a dog.

When she entered a dungeon queue, someone posted:

[Watch out, lesbian freak in the party. Might try to 'heal' more than just HP lol.]

Guild invites stopped. Friend requests vanished. Her inbox filled with slurs.

She stayed quiet. Kept healing. Kept helping.

She thought.

'If I just ignore it… if I just stay kind… maybe they'll stop.'

They didn't. The things happening online seeped offline. Some people even went as far as to track her down and spread her address and other private information online.

Now, nowhere was safe. Not even her room- which she was being asked to evacuate because of the backlash she was facing.

The world was an ally on the surface, but in reality, the prejudice against her was hard. Especially since she was an Orphan.

Her room was silent.

No game music. No voices. No insults. No lies.

Just the hum of her computer and the faint buzz of the city outside the window—distant, uncaring.

Kana sat in the dark, still wearing her headset. Her hands had fallen to her lap. Her fingers trembled, but there was no strength left in them to move.

She had tried.

She had tried to be good. To be kind. To stay quiet. To stay useful. She had let them laugh. Let them mock her. She had even smiled.

And in the end, it hadn't mattered.

Whether it was school or the game, it always ended the same way: her, alone.

A sob clawed its way up her throat, but she swallowed it down like everything else.

She opened the drawer beside her bed and pulled out the folded letter—the one she had written weeks ago, thinking maybe she'd never actually need it.

But now, holding it in her hands, it felt... right. Like closure.

She pressed the paper to her chest and closed her eyes.

If no one wants me here… then maybe I was never supposed to be here in the first place.

Her hand reached toward the desk—toward the drawer underneath—when the screen flickered.

Once.

Twice.

She blinked and looked up.

White text appeared on the monitor, glowing softly in the dark:

[Would you like to live the life you've always dreamed of?]

Kana stared.

Her first instinct was to laugh—but no sound came out.

'Now? Now you ask me that?'

The cursor blinked. Waiting. Like it cared. Like it knew.

Another line followed:

[YES] — [NO]

Her hand hovered over the mouse.

It had to be fake. Some broken ad, or a virus, or a cruel prank by someone watching her from the other side.

But even knowing that…

Even if it was a lie…

Kana couldn't bring herself to look away. Her heart hurt. Her chest felt like it was caving in.

No one had ever asked her what she wanted.

No one had ever offered her a dream.

Her finger clicked YES.

The light from the screen flared.

Tears spilled down her cheeks—not because she was afraid.

But because, for the first time in her life, someone had finally asked if she wanted to live.

______

Warmth.

That was the first thing Kana noticed.

Not heat, not discomfort—just a soft, golden warmth that wrapped around her gently, like being held.

She opened her eyes.

Above her stretched a pale blue sky, too clear to be real. Trees swayed slowly in a breeze that smelled like rain and flowers.

Everything looked brighter, sharper—like her eyes had been scrubbed clean.

She sat up.

The grass beneath her was soft. He

r robes shimmered faintly with white and silver threads. Her body felt light. Not in the "I lost weight" way—more like the heaviness she'd lived with was gone.

Her fingers brushed her face. It was smooth. No tears. No dried skin. No exhaustion.

And when she stood, her legs didn't shake.

This wasn't her room. This wasn't her body.

"…Am I dreaming?"

A soft chime answered her.

[System Boot Complete. Welcome, user: Kana.]

She blinked. A familiar sound—like a menu opening—rang in her ears, and translucent panels appeared in the air before her.

Her breath caught.

"…What?"

Kana stared at the panel.

This couldn't be real. Stats like this—these didn't exist.

'Charm: MAX?Admin rights?'

She waved her hand, half expecting the window to disappear.

It stayed.

Her heart pounded. She tapped on [Skills].

Another window opened.

Kana slowly took a step back.

This wasn't just another world.

This was a game.

A game with broken code.

"…Did I get isekai'd into a debug build?"

Another chime sounded.

[Achievement Unlocked: "Glitched Soul" – Triggered all hidden dev flags

Reward: Full skill tree unlocked.

Bonus: You now attract attention from all lifeforms with moderate or higher intelligence.]

Kana stared.

Then read it again.

"…Wait. What?"

The panel politely dinged again.

[Passive Skill Activated: [Eternal Charisma] – All targets within range are affected by high affinity status.]

She froze.

"…All targets?"

As if in answer, a soft rustling came from the woods behind her.

She turned.

A pair of eyes stared back from the bushes—bright, intelligent, and clearly tracking her.

Then another pair.

Then five.

Then ten.

Small animals. Forest creatures. Rabbits. Deer. A fox with silver fur. Birds fluttering down from trees.

They gathered silently, all staring at her like she was something holy.

Kana took a shaky step back. The fox followed her with reverence. The deer bowed its head.

"Oh no. This is not normal."

Kana whispered.

Her charm stat. The system.

It was all real.

And she was broken.
