Rio went to the changing where he found nobody has come to change yet and he quickly change, which he went to put his stuffs into his locker and closed it. Just as he turns to leave, he heard some student voice from the tools room and quickly went to check as he was shocked to find three girls beating Richel which annoyed him as he entered into the room shooting the door closed.
The girls seem to be his classmate and without wasting time, they turn to see who had entered and where terrified to see Rio as he walked to them kicking one in the stomach with another on the face. He quickly grabs the last one by the neck and raising her up before throwing her to the floor as she screams, he said "So you are the ones who have been bullying Richel since she came to this school, right. Tell me who is the leader and I will make your punishment simple" and grab a mob from the side.
"We were sent by no one and we didn't know you were her friend" one girl.
Another said "Please forgive us as we won't do it again"
Rio who was not letting them get away asked Richel "Is what they said true and should I let them go?" and she replied "Yes, it is true and please let them go, as this isn't part of your business" standing up. Hearing her words and watching her walk away, Rio also left following her asking if they could be friends and she clearly yelled at him saying "Don't you get it! I don't want to have anything to do with you and you should leave me alone" and tearing the place he wrote into pieces.
She quickly left and Rio just picked the pieces from the floor and dump it into the trash bin before going to the field seating on the bench over there.
After sometime of seating there and clearing his mind, he heard his name and turn to see Miss Atina with his classmate as he quickly joins them. Miss a line them in two sections as the boys take the Athletics and Basketball side, and girls to Net ball and Swimming, which he was pair with two guys for jogging same as the rest and the girls took the place in having a net ball with each other.
Rio who seems to not border about his teaming up join the jogging and after twice jog around the field, he took his seat watching the girls play and found Richel to be good in net ball than the rest.
Other classes also came to train in Tenis, High-jump, Handball and Football, which he found cool as he watches and analysis how his class were having common challenge with other classes. Miss Atina came to his said saying "We are having inner school competition next month after the first quiz test and inter-school competition next three month, which I hope you join as there would be a cash reward".
Hearing that there was a cash reward, he decides to join as he watches the activities going on and seeing his team mate challenging other classes. As he watches the Net ball matches and how Richel play, he praised her in his mind and just as an hour pass, he was called by his team leader who introduce himself "I'm John the team leader and this is Kane with Chris, which we are training for the competition and I hope we become friends" and the two nodded.
Rio also nod and went to stand at the third position with the rest taking the first, second, forth and the other classes join. "On your max! Get set!" said another lecturer who train that position blew the whistle as they started running a 1800miles around the field in their array zoon and Rio seems to be at the last place for a while before passing the runners one after another till, he was the only one in front.
Students watching started to shout for their class as only his class didn't and he kept giving gap from the rest as the guy who was the number even couldn't catch up with him. Miss Atina who was surprised by Rio performance gave a smile as he came to bypass the starting position forgetting that it was just one round and everyone became confused as he was breaking the record.
Sir Joel who was the athletic lecturer watch his timer and started to wave the red flag for Rio not to go for the third round, which he stopped after a 3200miles run. He quickly removes his mask breathing slowly like it was nothing and John brought him water saying "You did well and I hope you participate in the competition coming".
He drunk quarter of the water and quickly place the mask on as he places the rest on the table, which he bows to John before leaving and Sir Joel check his timer just to find him use 1hour 15minutes 42seconds to finish. He went to Miss Atina and asked if he was going to participate in the upcoming competition which she told him she is yet to ask him and he should not rush.
Rio who was back home and had taken his bath asked how Risa lesson is going which she said "Good and I would be able to finish in just a few weeks, which she even promise to teach me other things below two months. And how were your studies today Mr. Rio?", as Rio replied "Good and nothing more" moving to the kitchen to cook.
Then went to Mr. Jac in the hospital who was as usual happy and asked how they were doing, which they talked about a lot of stuffs that seems to be just jokes and passed life memories.
Another week with days came to pass smoothly and it was time for the Quiz as everyone was busy working, which Rio was with his tablet as others too and Miss Atina watch everyone until she receives a message that someone has finished.
Looking at the name and seeing that he was packing, Miss Atina called him "Rio. Can we talk outside for a minute" and he nodded as they went outside with everyone in the class taking the opportunity to ask questions but realized it was different questions.
"I wanted to ask if you would participate in the competition and it is a prize of 2million for the first place" said Miss Atina and Rio replied "I would love to and I was also wondering if I can participate in basketball also", which Miss Atina said "Sure you can take part in two and make a big shoot before the Sport leaders" and he nodded.
Just as they were done talking, the three guys came out and John said "Hey Rio, are you going to train on the field" as he replied "Yes, I'm heading to train and what about you guys". They all said "We are also going to train" and surround Rio as they walked together talking about how he would win the competition with his fast speed.
Rio asked "If I win and also play basketball, would the team be reward also?" as they replied "Sure we will be paid 1million as team members. You will also be paid 2million as the winner making you have 3million in total. And if you play as a basketball member, you would be given 1million for being in the game as the team win. Even the most exciting one is if you are the best shoot and soccer of all games, you will receive another 1million just for the inner-school competition".
Kane then said "But you must be careful as they boys you beat up has the leader in the basketball team and he have been some how bad at basketball playing so ignore him to prevent trouble" and Rio replied "Sure I will not cause trouble and thanks for the information" as they entered the changing room.
Rio took off his clothes and wear his outfit as they went to lock their stuffs, which they went to train as Rio keep up to their paste and they went around for a while before they gave up. As Rio took some time to rest before asking his team leader to set a timer for him to run and he agreed as they all watch him run three times around the field before given up.
"Wow, you set a new record for running 1hour 32minutes 13seconds in 5000miles" John said excitedly and they all praised Rio as he said "Thanks guys and sorry but I have to go train at the basketball place". They watch each other and told Rio "We will also come and watch your train", which he said "Thank you for the kindness and I promise to win in the competition" as he bowed before they left.
At the basketball court, Rio was standing away from the center shooting into the and also demonstrating some of his skills. The three guys praised his talent as they video his playing and after a while, the bully guy with other basketball players also appeared stopping Rio from playing and mocked him for just knowing the basic.
The emotionless Rio didn't say anything and just walked to the bench telling them that "You still lack the best shooter of the upcoming match and won't win if you don't allow me to play", which his written words hit them so hard that they challenge him in a one-on-one match with the bully guy who is Ray.
John stopped Rio but he said "Don't worry about me as he is just a mere incest" and walked to the court. Ray who started the match bounced the ball and dodge Rio succoring the first goal and mocking Rio but the word that came out of his writing said "You are just a mere incest that I let soccer the first goal" as he threw his book to the side.
Just then, the coach has appeared watching the two and took his seat to watch as Ray noticed feeling it was time to show his skills. As he bounced the ball, the next scene shock everyone as Rio took the ball and went back shooting from where nobody could score as he scores.
Ray was humiliated as he asked for another around as Rio gave him the ball and just like before he took the ball and went much backward than before shooting with another goal, which Ray asked for another as this time Rio took the ball by bouncing it under Ray's legs and moved forward scoring.
