At dawn 4am, Rio woke up and went to wash his mouth before heading to the kitchen where he prepared a special dish which took him an hour.
Just as he finished, he went out to the hospital where he found Mr. Jac already awake as he greeted him and he told him he has not bathed yet but Rio said "You will bath at the apartment and the doctor have given permission to send today with us". Hearing the information and seeing that he was happy, Rio left with Mr. Jac back to the apartment and surprised the sleepy Risa who woke after they came.
"Good morning, grandpa and Rio" she said as the old man laugh as he knew she hadn't realized that it was around 5am and after checking, she asked "Why are you here this early?" and the old man said "I'm just going to watch the television and get Rio dressed up as it would be soon 6am, which he had to be at the program before 9am" as he went to switch the television on.
Risa turns her eyes to Rio and said "You look messy and you need to be made handsome as I know so many girls would be waiting to see how you look" as she grabs his hand walking into the washroom.
In the washroom, Rio took off his top shirt and Risa was shock to see his well-built body.
Taken his seat closer to the hair washing bow, Risa quickly helped him support his head and she started to look at him as Rio wondered if he had made a mistake by removing his top.
Just as the two were quiet in the washroom, Risa asked "Have you been training this whole time? If it is 'Yes' you can give a thumbs up and 'No' a wave of index finger" as he replied yes with his thumbs up.
"Do you really like my grandpa?" she asked and he replied yes.
She asked "Do you have a girlfriend?" and he said no.
"Then why did you not sleep on your bed with me. Is it because you are scared?" she asked and he said yes, which she remains quiet before given a smile.
"Will you sleep beside me one day?" she asked and he said no shocking her.
"What about if I'm sick or sad or crying, will you sleep beside me?" she asked and he said yes.
"Will you talk normal with your mouth one day" she asked and he said yes.
She finished with the washing of his hair and placed it in the drier as she sat before him, which she said "I will start by dressing your nails on your fingers and then the toes" as she pulled his right hand and started dressing the nails as she spoke.
"Do you know that you look cute when you smile" she said and he replied no.
"You look cute and I wondered if you would one day start talking, smiling, laughing and even bring a girlfriend to the apartment, which by then I and grandpa would be happy for you and even go to your wedding" Risa said as she looks at his face and he closed his eyes, which she kept talking but he paid no attention to her until she was done.
He stood up and bowed showing his thanks, which she went out for him to bath as he wondered why she was asking that kind of question.
Risa in the bed room asked herself "He seems to not be interested in people and I wonder why he doesn't have a girlfriend. Does he only care about working and helping us" and was thinking when Rio entered dressing up before tapping her. "I'm done bathing and can you comb my hair for me?" he said as he watches her as she stood there and finally said "Okay, follow me back to the dressing room".
In the dressing room, Risa creams his hair and comb it into her own style that she found nice which Rio thanked her once more before leaving to the dinner room. Risa followed him and watch as he eats, after which he placed on his hoody and mask.
"Risa and Grandpa, the program will start at 10am and will end 3pm. I have ordered a car to pick both of you at 10:45am and you will be welcome to your seat with these tickets, which I have sent some money into your account, Risa" Rio said as he gave them the two tickets.
As he was about to leave, Risa said "Rio. We will be there to see you and take care" as he nodded and left as he wondered what exactly she wanted to tell him.
Risa who checked her account and realized it contain 1.7million wondered if she was hallucinating, which her grandfather brought her back to reality saying "Rio is real going to marry you in the future and I hope you be happy as he is your childhood friend" and she asked "Is he really my childhood friend?".
Mr. Jac who was standing beside his granddaughter replied "Yes, he is but it seems he had forgotten about his past. That is also the reason he doesn't want to talk or even show any sign of emotion until when he saw you and sense something familiar that made him to help.
Anyway, you must not tell him until the time is right and as for now just focus on learning" as he went to take his seat and watch the television.
Trying to put what she heard right now together and why her sense a close avouchment to him, she went to bath and said to her "Grandpa might just be trying to make me marry him" as she continues to bath.
On campus, Rio was in the changing room with his three friends as they were discussing about how Rio looks much more handsome even with the new hairstyle and nose mask. Just as the were all together, Chris asked if they could make a video and they all agreed leaving Rio no choice.
Just as they were done with the video, John said "The actual avenue of the competition would start at 10:50am and the Athletic with Handball will be the first to start, which will be a 1hour 20minutes match same as the rest and the Basketball with Swimming will be the last match. So, you will enough rest for Basketball match, Rio"
Having analysis, the games and how to get time to rest, Rio decided to set a new track record on the stadium field but he still has more than an hour left so he went to Doc.
Nanie office and took a nap there as she was busy working inside. But she wondered why he decided to take a nap in her office and knowing he wasn't going to reply, she focused on her work and set an alarm since she also would watch the competition.
In his apartment, Risa and Mr. Jac has finished dressing as eating too, which they noticed a bell ring as they got out to find a white beautiful car waiting for them outside and the driver opened the door for them to enter as the two did. Just before realized, Rio sent them a message "Have the car picked you guys?" and Risa replied "Yes. We are on our way and would be there soon".
Rio who was with his friends took his seat on the bench chairs for the runners and wait for the MC to welcome the guest which are their family members with another non-participant students.
Just as the MC finished, he received a message "We are seat at were you said and where are you?" and he replied "Look at where the athletes are and you will find me there" look at the two.
Seeing that he had been found, Rio wave at them as the two wave back and old man shouted "Grandson! I know you will make me proud!" as everyone attention went to the two waving as Rio also gave a thumbs up.
Risa laughs as she never knew he would still say yes and Mr. Jac asked why she was laughing which she said "I told Rio to always say yes with a thumbs up" and leaving the two even laugh before the game begins.
