Some Time Later.
Shortly after the battle against Crom Cruach, Gilgamesh and his friends returned to the house, with Gilgamesh carrying the unconscious Evil Dragon.
Crom Cruach remained unconscious for a few hours; it seemed his injuries were too much even for the Evil Dragon.
Gilgamesh had healed some of his wounds, while his friends thought Gilgamesh should kill Crom Cruach.
Since Crom Cruach was allied with Rizevim, he could reveal their location to Lucifer's son, which would be problematic.
Gilgamesh refused, as he knew Crom Cruach's nature well and was aware that, despite being an Evil Dragon, he was quite honorable.
Currently, everyone was gathered in the living room, with Gilgamesh seated on a sofa and his friends behind him.
Crom Cruach was sitting on another sofa, surprisingly eating a banana ice cream.
After the Evil Dragon woke up, Asia offered him a banana, thinking he might be hungry, and he accepted. Surprisingly, he loved the taste and declared it his favorite food.
Now, he was eating a banana ice cream that Gilgamesh had prepared, with a very satisfied smile on his face.
"Are you sure you don't want me to heal your scars?" asked Gilgamesh, leaning back on the sofa.
The Evil Dragon had been left with several scars from the battle, but he stopped Gilgamesh from healing them.
"No way," said Crom Cruach with conviction, as if Gilgamesh had said something absurd. "These scars are from my fight against a great Heavenly Dragon. There's no shame for me in having them; they're proof of my battle with you, and for that, I'll keep them."
Crom Cruach spoke in a way that impressed everyone, even Karna showed a slight surprise.
"I understand," said Gilgamesh with a small smile.
"So, are you going back to Rizevim?" asked Gilgamesh seriously.
"Yes, though I'm considering leaving his group," said Crom Cruach, surprising everyone.
"Why?" asked Gilgamesh, curious.
"I joined him to see how far Dragons could go, but since the Holy Grail was stolen, Rizevim has been losing it even more," said Crom Cruach as he took another bite of his ice cream.
"So you won't tell him about us? Not even about Valerie?" asked Gilgamesh seriously.
If Crom Cruach posed a threat to his friends, Gilgamesh would kill him right there, regardless of his respect for the Evil Dragon.
"No way. On my honor as a Dragon, I would never say that. Only I can defeat you one day, and anyone who tries will face my wrath," said Crom Cruach seriously.
Gilgamesh laughed at that. It seemed the Evil Dragon had declared himself his rival and that only he could defeat Gilgamesh; anyone else would have to beat him first.
"I see. Do you know the size of Rizevim's army?" asked Gilgamesh, curious.
Crom Cruach thought for a moment before speaking.
"It's not very large. He has hundreds of vampires on his side and a few weak Evil Dragons. From what I know, the only ones he managed to revive with the Holy Grail while it was in his possession were Azi Dahãka and Apophis," said Crom Cruach to Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh narrowed his eyes slightly.
It seemed Rizevim hadn't managed to build a very strong army, as most of them had been created by Valerie's [Sephiroth Graal].
However, he had enough time to bring Apophis and Azi Dahãka back to life.
Those two were perhaps some of the most troublesome Evil Dragons.
The Thousand Diabolism Dragon, Azi Dahãka, a Legendary Dragon who mastered over a thousand spells and had reached the Heavenly Dragon class.
When he was alive, it took an army of Zoroastrian Gods to fight him, and even then, they couldn't kill him and had to seal him.
The other was Apophis, the Primordial Eclipse Dragon, the archenemy of the Egyptian Sun God Ra and another Dragon who reached the Heavenly Dragon class.
Apophis was Ra's enemy; Apophis tried to devour the Sun while Ra protected it. In Egyptian mythology, he was the embodiment of Chaos and Ra's Nemesis.
Apophis was also capable of manipulating darkness and a dark water that could dissolve even a God.
Indeed, two troublesome enemies.
Although Gilgamesh was confident that Enkidu and Karna could handle them.
"If you're going to attack them, you should do it as soon as possible," said Crom Cruach seriously.
"Yes, I'm preparing for that," said Gilgamesh with a sigh.
Gilgamesh had plans to attack Rizevim's base and kill Lucifer's son to no longer have to worry about him.
Gilgamesh didn't care if he had to kill every member of the Vampire Faction in the process.
Gilgamesh's plans were to attack after the third season but before the fourth, as he wanted to plan the attack carefully.
"I think I'll be going," said Crom Cruach as he stood up.
Gilgamesh stood up as well.
"Alright, though I have a question: what do you think about joining my group?" asked Gilgamesh, surprising everyone.
Crom Cruach laughed.
"Maybe I'll join your Faction in time, but for now, there are some things I need to do first," said Crom Cruach to Gilgamesh, who laughed.
Though Gilgamesh considered that he should come up with a name for his group.
He'd think about it later.
"Very well," said Gilgamesh, smiling.
Crom Cruach walked to the door and opened it as two draconic wings emerged from his back.
"Remember this, Gilgamesh: from today, you are my rival. Train to become stronger and master your power, because I'll do the same. Don't let anyone kill you before I do, and when the day comes for us to fight, I'll finally discover the destiny of Dragons," said Crom Cruach before flapping his wings and disappearing into the sky.
Gilgamesh sighed before heading back inside.
Gilgamesh turned his gaze inward, specifically to a short boy with dark skin, grayish-blue hair, and purple eyes, wearing a gakuran with a long coat over it.
"I think we should talk, Leonardo," said Gilgamesh to the boy, who nodded.
Both headed back to the sofas, and Leonardo sat across from Gilgamesh.
Leonardo had woken up shortly before Crom Cruach, and Gilgamesh had a brief conversation with the boy, who seemed happy to no longer be under the control of the Hero Faction.
Leonardo was about to tell everything that happened to him, but Crom Cruach woke up, and Gilgamesh spoke with the Evil Dragon first.
Now he would talk with the boy who wielded the [Annihilation Maker].
"You can start," said Gilgamesh gently to the boy, who nodded.
"I was raised in an orphanage after my parents were killed in an accident, but my Sacred Gear awakened and caused havoc in the orphanage. They treated me like a monster, teased me, and…" Leonardo began to talk about his life, and everyone felt sad for the boy.
Longinus users were greatly feared in the supernatural world.
So imagine what happened when ordinary humans saw Leonardo creating monsters from his shadow.
He was treated as a monster and a freak, mistreated and abused by everyone around him.
"Then one day, I ran away and ended up meeting Cao Cao, who offered me to join the Hero Faction, but I refused. Then that magician Georg used some kind of magic on me," said Leonardo, with a pained look in his eyes as tears formed.
"I didn't know what was happening; it was like I wasn't in control of my body and was forced to do those atrocities by Cao Cao," said Leonardo as tears streamed from his eyes.
Gilgamesh had already understood what happened to Leonardo and about him.
The boy was an innocent child forcibly dragged into the supernatural world and made to do horrible things.
It was as if the boy was forced to do all those terrible things and couldn't stop it.
Gilgamesh approached and crouched to the boy's level, who, by his height, must have been about ten years old.
Gilgamesh took the boy and gave him a comforting hug.
Gilgamesh himself had seen horrible things while traveling with Sebas and Enkidu, things he still remembered to this day.
The boy slowly calmed down as everyone felt pity for him, and Asia and Sebas had gone to get something for him to eat and calm down.
"Are you feeling better?" asked Gilgamesh to the boy, who, now calmer, nodded.
"I know it might not be the right time, but what do you want to do from now on?" asked Gilgamesh to the boy.
"What to do?"
"Yes, whether you like it or not, you possess a Longinus, so it attracts danger to you. A peaceful life isn't something possible for people like us," said Gilgamesh to the boy.
And that was true: power attracts power, and Longinus are weapons said to kill Gods, so the moment you have one fused to your soul, you become a target for the entire world.
Everyone feared and tried to kill you because of it.
The [Annihilation Maker], in particular, is perhaps the most feared.
[Annihilation Maker], a Longinus that allows the creation of creatures based on imagination… Just putting it like that is enough to make anyone realize how powerful this Sacred Gear is. Gilgamesh obviously knew its capabilities very well.
There are many islands on this planet, many of which are gone and will never be remembered by mundane people. One of them was an island called Cactuar Island, located between Europe and the Asian continent.
That island was completely destroyed… Erased permanently along with all living beings on it. Men, women, babies, animals, plants. None were spared.
That's a story for another time, of course. However, there's one thing that left Gilgamesh very concerned about Leonardo's safety.
In the last five hundred years, no [Annihilation Maker] user lived past the age of 20.
Why? Simple: they were all assassinated.
Killed in their sleep.
Slain when they were at their most vulnerable.
Murdered even when they were still babies, at times.
It's because the power of the [Annihilation Maker] is too easy to use and utterly outrageous. It's a Sacred Gear very suitable for children who truly grasp its ability. Because imagination is very strong when people are at a young age.
But as they grow older, it becomes a problem.
In the beginning, during older times, there weren't major issues. All [Annihilation Maker] users could live relatively normally, but as they aged, so did their minds and consciousness, which caused their creatures to become less potent.
But the bigger problem arose when humanity began to learn.
They began to grow. They became smarter. More creative. More adaptive. More resilient. And more imaginative.
Some entities started to fear and distrust humanity's growth, with such power that merely thinking could create a monster, the wielder already needed to be cautious. And now they were getting smarter and more creative…
And their fear was confirmed during the Cactuar Island incident.
From that day on, [Annihilation Maker] wielders began to be hunted. Either killed or recruited to join armies. However, one thing was certain: they never lived past twenty. It's because they were all killed; many gods and creatures feared their power, the thought of a user capable of creating a God-killing monster was terrifying.
The moment Leonardo had this Longinus in his soul, he became a target.
The only way for Leonardo to survive and have a good life was to join a Faction.
The Hero Faction was an example, as it could have protected him, but that was no longer possible.
"I'd like to join you," said Leonardo, surprising everyone.
"Why?" asked Gilgamesh, surprised.
"Even when I was under their control, Jeanne always talked to me and took care of me like an older sister," said Leonardo, and Gilgamesh smiled at that. "She told me about you and how you took care of everyone who needed help. She said that if I ever needed help, I could come to you," finished Leonardo.
Gilgamesh and everyone were surprised by this, though Gilgamesh was glad that Jeanne didn't seem to have fallen as low as he thought.
"Are you sure about this? My friends and I are always getting into trouble and danger. Even so, do you want to join us?" asked Gilgamesh, looking at the boy.
"Yes, I do," said Leonardo almost instantly.
Gilgamesh smiled as everyone seemed happy.
"Then welcome to the family, Leonardo. We'll all take good care of you, don't worry," said Gilgamesh, smiling at the boy, who nodded.
"Alright, let's throw a party to celebrate!" shouted Mordred joyfully along with everyone.
Gilgamesh couldn't help but smile.
Even amidst all this, only their happiness mattered.
And Gilgamesh would do anything to protect them.
**A Few Days Later.**
**With Gilgamesh.**
A few days had passed since the incident with Crom Cruach and the conversation with Leonardo.
After that, Leonardo began living with them and got his own room with his things. Everyone started seeing him as a younger brother they helped and cared for.
Gilgamesh and the others also began training Leonardo to gain better control over his Longinus.
After all, the [Annihilation Maker] is an extremely dangerous Longinus. In the novel, Leonardo was forced to activate his Balance Breaker, and the creatures generated caused great destruction in the Underworld, and it was even revealed that this Balance Breaker had the potential to destroy the world.
Gilgamesh had helped Leonardo gain better control over his Longinus.
After all, it was more than just imagination to use its power; the more detailed it was, the more powerful it became, as well as the cost it took to create the monsters, which was physical and mental stamina.
Gilgamesh and Valerie were also teaching Leonardo magic, who, surprisingly, had a talent for it.
Gilgamesh had also granted him another Sacred Gear, the [Night Reflection].
One of the weaknesses of the [Annihilation Maker] was the wielder himself, as he was far more vulnerable than the creatures he created.
The [Night Reflection] could manipulate shadows, allowing Leonardo to use them for protection, and it wasn't too complicated since the shadows moved based on the user's imagination.
Leonardo also proved to be a rather shy child with some difficulty making friends, but after spending time with everyone, he opened up more.
Speaking of Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes was currently walking through the corridors of Kuoh Academy alongside Valerie, Rias, and her Peerage.
They were on the ground floor of the old school building, where the "Sealed Classroom" had been set up.
A tape with "Keep Out" written on it was firmly attached, with magical seals carved into the door.
"So why are we here, Gremory?" asked Gilgamesh seriously to Rias, who shivered slightly.
"My brother, Sirzechs Lucifer, told me that when I was going to release my [Bishop], I should call you and the Dhampir," said Rias to Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh nodded while Valerie had a happy look.
"What's your connection with Gasper?" asked Rias to Valerie, curious.
"He's my younger brother," said Valerie, smiling, to everyone's surprise.
"That's surprising," said Akeno, who was standing next to Rias.
"I was also the one who made him dress like a girl," said Valerie, slightly embarrassed.
Rias' entire Peerage, except for Issei, widened their eyes.
"That explains a lot…" said Rias, sighing.
Rias reached the door and extended her hand, creating a magic circle that deactivated the seal.
"He's a hikikomori?" asked Issei, with Rias nodding.
Kiba quickly began removing the tapes while Akeno helped Rias finish deactivating the seal.
"The child inside this room has been the biggest earner among the servants," said Akeno to everyone.
"Through a computer, the boy has special contracts with humans. Frankly, he's someone who doesn't want to deal with us. These types of people negotiate differently and build relationships differently. They handle things through the computer. In computer-based relationships, among the new devil servants, this boy grabs numbers comparable to those of higher ranks," explained Akeno.
"Now, I'm opening the door."
The magical seals carved into the door also disappeared, turning it into a simple door. Rias quickly opened it.
"Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!" an absurd scream came from the room.
"Good morning to you. It's nice to see you so energetic," said Rias, sighing.
"W-Whyyyyyy?"
"Ara ara, the seal has been removed, you know? You can come out now. Shall we all go together?" said Akeno gently.
"Nooooooooo! This place is gooooood! I don't want to go outside! I don't want to meet peoplllllle!"
Gilgamesh, along with everyone, sighed before entering the room.
The curtains were tightly closed. The room was decorated in a surprisingly beautiful way, resembling a girl's room. Stuffed animals were also present.
There was a single coffin in one corner of the room, which seemed to be used for foreign burials.
There was an androgynous-looking boy with platinum blonde hair and pinkish-purple eyes. His hair was cut short with several small bangs on his forehead, and he had pointed ears.
Unlike the other boys at Kuoh Academy who wore the male uniform, Gasper wore the female Kuoh Academy uniform with thigh-high stockings.
It was Gasper Vladi, a male Dhampir cross-dressing, a half-vampire, half-human with the ability to stop time and Rias' first Bishop.
"Gasper, there's someone here who wants to see you," said Rias kindly.
"Nooooooooo, I don't want to see anyoooone!" shouted the boy.
Gilgamesh gave a look to Valerie, who nodded and stepped forward.
"Gasper," said Valerie softly.
The boy, who was hiding, came out upon hearing the familiar voice and widened his eyes when he saw who it was.
"Valerie," said Gasper as tears streamed from his eyes.
"Gasper," said Valerie as tears also welled up in her eyes before running to her younger brother and hugging him.
Everyone was touched by what they were seeing.
When Rias was about to speak, Gilgamesh placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Let's give them a moment," said Gilgamesh, receiving a nod from Rias.
Everyone left, leaving Valerie and Gasper to talk and enjoy their reunion.
As they walked away, Akeno approached Gilgamesh.
"Gilgamesh, there's someone who'd like to see you. Could you come to my shrine later?" asked Akeno to Gilgamesh.
"Very well," said Gilgamesh, nodding.
**Some Time Later.**
Within an hour, Gilgamesh was climbing the stairs leading to one of the two shrines in the city, which was also the only abandoned one. Gilgamesh had asked Mordred to take Valerie back home.
Gilgamesh walked a bit longer before seeing Akeno standing on one of the steps, wearing a priestess outfit.
"Welcome, Gilgamesh," said Akeno with a small smile.
Gilgamesh returned the smile.
"Thank you, Akeno," said Gilgamesh as he walked side by side with Akeno.
"Do you live here?" asked Gilgamesh, curious.
"Yes, Rias helped me secure the property deed after the previous owner, the chief priest of the shrine, died," said Akeno, smiling, and Gilgamesh nodded.
Gilgamesh stopped when he reached the top of the stairs and looked at the scene before him.
It was quite obvious, even to a casual observer, that the shrine was abandoned. The buildings, whether the main hall that usually housed the artifact for worship or the small annex meant for storing supplies, were all in ruins, clearly not properly maintained for some time. In the small patches of grass growing across the property, there were also a good number of weeds. The trees lining the property were as lush as one might expect, but probably because they required much less maintenance compared to other plants. Their branches had grown, sometimes into parts of the buildings, due to a lack of pruning.
Still, the property seemed to be in good condition, certainly better than one would expect if it had been abandoned for as long as the rumors claimed. Akeno had certainly done a good job maintaining the property, despite being the only one doing so.
"You really haven't changed."
A male voice that Gilgamesh recognized made him turn his head to the sky. Immediately, he had to shield his eyes as a brilliant golden light filled his vision.
The light faded, allowing Gilgamesh to partially open his eyes. He spotted a medium-height male silhouette with twelve feathered wings sprouting from his back, bathed and shielded by a shimmering golden light.
The light faded completely, allowing Gilgamesh to get a good look at the figure in the sky. He was about the same height as Gilgamesh, perhaps slightly shorter, and slimmer than Gilgamesh, who was a bit stockier than average. He had shoulder-length golden blonde hair and gentle green eyes, not much different from Asia's. He was dressed in ceremonial robes and armor.
The most striking thing of all was, without a doubt, the golden halo floating above his head and the twelve golden feathered wings, proving his identity beyond any doubt.
Gilgamesh obviously recognized the figure, as he had worked with him for nearly two years.
"It's been a long time, Gilgamesh."
"Yes, it's been a long time, Michael."
**Scene Change.**
Gilgamesh took a sip of the tea Akeno had brought for him and Michael as they sat in the main hall and sighed contentedly. As always, few things could calm him as well as a good cup of sweet yet bitter green tea.
"The tea is delicious," said Gilgamesh to Akeno, who smiled and nodded in thanks for the indirect compliment.
"It's been a long time, Michael," said Gilgamesh, smiling, to which the Angel returned the smile.
"Yes, I see you're still doing well, Gilgamesh," said Michael as he sipped some tea.
The Leader of the Angels greatly respected Gilgamesh; the King of Heroes' help had made his Faction grow and improve.
Like most Angels, he was saddened when Gilgamesh decided to leave the Church, but he knew Gilgamesh had his reasons.
Michael also knew of his sister's feelings for Gilgamesh and fully supported them; Gabriel deserved love more than anyone.
"So, to what do I owe the visit?" asked Gilgamesh, curious.
Michael extended his hand, and an immense holy aura emerged from it, taking the form of a sword.
It had the appearance of a European sword with a reddish-purple hilt and a golden crossguard with stylized crosses at the ends.
The guard had a different appearance, resembling four golden dragon claws pointing upward. The sword had the look of a European sword with a gray hilt, a red diamond embedded in it surrounded by four slightly curved blue lines, and a golden conical arrow-shaped pommel. The blade was also notched three times on both sides near the base, and the fuller, extending slightly above the notches, had a golden edge shaped like a large pearl, with the rest being purple.
Gilgamesh recognized the sword as Ascalon, the holy and dragon-slaying sword of Saint George.
"Although I know you already have it in your treasures, I'd like to give this to you," said Michael.
Gilgamesh nodded as he took the sword and felt it resonate with his power.
"Why?" asked Gilgamesh.
"You must have heard about the meeting of the Three Factions," said Michael, and Gilgamesh nodded.
Gilgamesh knew the meeting of the Three Factions would take place in a few days.
"This meeting, I believe, presents a huge opportunity for cooperation between the three great powers. You've probably heard me say this, but we've lost our creator. This is an opportunity. A chance to rid ourselves of pointless battles. If these small-scale battles continue intermittently, the three great powers will be destroyed. Even if that's not the case, other secondary powers might invade. This sword is a gift from me to you because I'd like you to attend the meeting. Of course, I've also sent gifts to the Fallen Angels and Demons," explained Michael.
Gilgamesh nodded.
Michael then clapped his hands, drawing attention.
"And, time's up. I have to go soon," said Michael, smiling.
"Very well, it was good to see you, Michael," said Gilgamesh, smiling at the Seraph, who nodded.
"Oh, Gabriel will come visit you," said Michael, smiling.
Before Gilgamesh could question what he meant, Michael vanished in a golden light, making Gilgamesh sigh.
**Scene Change.**
"Here, some tea."
"Ah, thank you very much."
Currently, Gilgamesh and Akeno were still at the shrine after Michael's departure, while Gilgamesh wondered what the Seraph meant by Gabriel coming.
Though Gilgamesh's attention turned to Akeno.
"Can I ask a question?"
"Yes, of course."
"Are you the daughter of one of the Fallen Angel leaders?" asked Gilgamesh.
Though he already knew the answer, Gilgamesh genuinely wanted to help Akeno overcome her trauma.
Initially, he didn't like her much due to her corrupted aura, but over time, he grew fond of the dark-haired woman.
The moment Gilgamesh asked, Akeno's expression darkened.
"That's right. Originally, I was born from one of the Fallen Angel leaders and a human."
Akeno turned to Gilgamesh and continued.
"My mother was the daughter of a certain temple in this country. I heard that one day, my mother saved Barakiel, who had collapsed from injuries, and from that day's miracle, I was born."
To prove her point, Akeno released her wings. Unlike the two normal wings of a demon, one wing was demonic, and the other was the black wing of a Fallen Angel.
"They're dirty wings… A demon wing and a Fallen Angel wing; I possess both."
As if despising the black Fallen Angel feathers, she gripped them with her hands.
"While I hated these wings, I met Rias and became a demon. But what was born possessed both demon and Fallen Angel wings, a despicable creature with both. Fufufu, it suits me, who has dirty blood running through my veins," said Akeno with pure self-loathing.
"How do you feel, Gilgamesh? I heard you don't like Fallen Angels; you must hate me," said Akeno sadly.
"Yes, I may not like Fallen Angels much," said Gilgamesh, making Akeno look sad. "But I like you, Akeno."
Akeno was surprised.
"I won't ask for more details about your birth. I just wanted to confirm… Sorry. I can be insensitive sometimes…"
"No, that's not the case. I have Fallen Angel blood in me, you know? Can you forgive me? Even though I was reincarnated as a demon, it doesn't change the fact that I have Fallen Angel blood… I might have approached you wanting to be hated, you know? … No, that's definitely the case. I'm the worst kind of woman…"
"That doesn't matter. Ah, how do I say this, Akeno, you're a kind person. I don't like Fallen Angels, but I think you're different. Even with Fallen Angel blood in you, Akeno is Akeno, and you're the vice-president of the Occult Research Club. I've never felt any dislike toward Akeno. Even hearing you have Fallen Angel blood, I still can't hate you. I like you even now, no problem, right?" said Gilgamesh, smiling lightly.
Akeno looked at Gilgamesh as tears fell from her eyes, and a blush appeared on her face.
Akeno smiled before wiping her tears.
"You said some killer words… After hearing that… I have to get serious…"
Gilgamesh looked puzzled before Akeno stood up and threw herself onto him, her breasts pressed against Gilgamesh's chest.
Akeno pressed herself closer to Gilgamesh before whispering in his ear.
"If you keep saying those words, I won't be able to hold back anymore," said Akeno lasciviously as she slid her hand under Gilgamesh's shirt.
Gilgamesh, not being shy, simply wrapped his arm around Akeno's waist, pulling the girl closer, making her blush before placing one of his hands on her face as he leaned in.
"If you can't hold back, imagine me," said Gilgamesh as he brought his lips closer to Akeno's, who closed her eyes, waiting for the moment.
But before Gilgamesh and Akeno could kiss, a thunderclap shook the sky as if the heavens unleashed their fury.
Akeno and Gilgamesh jumped and separated in surprise, and Gilgamesh looked at the sky, but there wasn't a single cloud in sight. Gilgamesh wondered exactly where that thunder came from.
Though Gilgamesh recognized the angelic energy in that thunder, and he only knew one Angel with that mastery over lightning.
**In Heaven.**
"Gabriel," Griselda called, tapping the Seraph's shoulder. "What was that?"
Griselda was a former exorcist who had been reincarnated as an Angel by Gabriel.
The strongest and most beautiful woman in Heaven shrugged. "Just preventing a crisis from happening, that's all."
The reincarnated Angel felt a bead of sweat run down her face as she watched the Seraph hum to herself. Her skill and power with lightning manipulation were on the same level as Zeus and Thor from the Greek and Norse pantheons, respectively. Even though the Angel seemed sweet and innocent, Griselda knew she held the title of the Strongest Woman in Heaven for a reason. Her holy lightning was on an entirely different level.
Gabriel smiled at Griselda. "Don't worry." She examined her delicate pale hands before ruthlessly cracking each knuckle. "It was nothing."
**With Gilgamesh and Akeno.**
Gilgamesh and Akeno were startled by that lightning and had just pulled away.
"Looks like we were interrupted," said Gilgamesh, chuckling lightly, as he knew who was responsible for the lightning.
"It seems so," said Akeno sadly.
Gilgamesh smiled and approached her.
"Don't worry, we can continue whenever you want," said Gilgamesh, making Akeno blush.
"So tomorrow is the day parents visit the school, right?" asked Gilgamesh, receiving a nod from Akeno.
"I think I should go," said Gilgamesh, smiling.
"Yes, I should go too," said Akeno, smiling.
They said their goodbyes, as each had their own matters to attend to.
And Akeno now knew the feelings she had for Gilgamesh.
