Chapter 79 - New Life DxD- Chapter 77

The tension in the room was suffocating and overwhelming as waves of power emanated from two beings.

On one side stood Crom Cruach, the Strongest Evil Dragon, also known as the Crescent Circle Dragon, a Dragon with enough power to be in the Heavenly Dragon class and even surpass Ddraig and Albion.

On the other side was the King of Heroes and the one who collected all the treasures of the world, the Sekiryuutei Gilgamesh, also known as the Golden Beast of Destruction.

Gilgamesh had just returned from his battle against the Hero Faction and found the Strongest Evil Dragon waiting for him.

Gilgamesh couldn't help but think that the Goddesses were orchestrating this against him.

After all, in less than a month, he had fought against two Greek Gods, Ares and Artemis, as well as Arthur, who wielded the Supreme Holy Sword Caliburn, and also battled the Hakuryuukou, the SlashDog, the Victorious Fighting Buddha, the Hero Faction, and Kokabiel.

And now, the Evil Dragon with power comparable to the Heavenly Dragon class stood before him, challenging him to a battle.

There was no way all of this could be happening so quickly.

For the love of the late Biblical God, having so many beings after him like this couldn't possibly be normal.

What's next? Rizevim or Hades? Maybe Ophis or Great Red.

Gilgamesh couldn't even have a single day of peace and quiet without someone coming to challenge him to a fight.

But that wasn't what worried Gilgamesh the most.

"Did Rizevim send you here?" asked Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh knew that Crom Cruach worked for Rizevim—though "worked together" was a strong phrase; they were allies.

Crom Cruach had only two desires: the first was to fight strong opponents, and the second was to see how far Dragons could go.

And in pursuit of that, he allied himself with Rizevim.

Everyone tensed up when Gilgamesh mentioned this and prepared for anything.

"No. Although Rizevim has been frantically searching for the Holy Grail since it disappeared, it's only a matter of time until he finds it," said Crom Cruach, casting a glance at Valerie, showing he knew her true identity. "As I said, my motive is singular: I desire a battle against you, Sekiryuutei."

Gilgamesh couldn't help but be incredulous.

He knew Crom Cruach was an even greater battle maniac than Vali and was willing to do anything for it. He had also spent many years training for this, but Gilgamesh hadn't imagined the Dragon would invade his home in search of a fight.

"So you came here because of a battle?" asked Gilgamesh, surprised.

Crom Cruach nodded.

"When I heard that the current Sekiryuutei was immensely powerful, I decided to come fight you. I have no interest in the Holy Grail. Perhaps by fighting you, I can see where Dragons are meant to go," said Crom Cruach nonchalantly.

Gilgamesh thought for a moment.

"What do you think, Ddraig?" asked Gilgamesh to the Heavenly Dragon.

[I think it's a good opportunity, partner. Although I've avoided fights with Evil Dragons because of their nature, Crom Cruach is the purest among them, and it's also a good chance for you to let loose without worrying and test new techniques. Besides, I'm curious to see how strong he's become,] said Ddraig calmly, as this was a good opportunity for his partner to cut loose.

Gilgamesh sighed before turning his gaze back to the Evil Dragon.

"Very well, I accept," said Gilgamesh with a smile.

Everyone around Gilgamesh showed surprised expressions.

"Are you sure, Gil?" asked Enkidu, concerned.

"Don't worry," said Gilgamesh, reassuring everyone.

"Very well," said Crom Cruach as he increased his aura, making Gilgamesh widen his eyes.

"Not here. If we fight here, the entire supernatural world will be alerted," said Gilgamesh to the Dragon, who paused and nodded.

"Then where can we fight?" asked Crom Cruach, as he didn't know where they could battle.

Gilgamesh smiled at that.

**Scene Change.**

In the middle of a vast plain, two combatants with immense power could be seen.

On one side was Crom Cruach, the Crescent Circle Dragon and the Strongest Evil Dragon.

On the other side was Gilgamesh, the current Sekiryuutei and host of Ddraig, one of the Heavenly Dragons.

Gilgamesh had taken Crom Cruach to the dungeon because he knew that there they wouldn't risk alerting the entire supernatural world that the two were fighting.

Upon arriving at the dungeon, Gilgamesh made it the size of Japan, as a battle between them would likely be highly destructive.

If Maou-class beings already had the power to destroy countries multiple times, imagine two beings like Gilgamesh and Crom Cruach, who surpassed most God-class beings.

All of Gilgamesh's friends stayed in a safe place to observe the fight.

Gilgamesh was strangely eager for the battle, perhaps because here he could truly let loose.

Gilgamesh usually held back because he didn't want to accidentally kill his opponents, but he knew Crom Cruach could withstand anything he threw at him.

"Are you ready?" asked Gilgamesh to the Evil Dragon, who nodded.

An extremely dense aura of gold and black surged around Crom Cruach's entire body.

Meanwhile, Gilgamesh's body was immersed in a red aura of pure flames.

"Purgatory Drive," said Gilgamesh.

An immense aura of flames created from the [Purgatory Dragon Slayer Magic] surged around Gilgamesh.

[Purgatory Drive] is a technique of the [Purgatory Dragon Slayer Magic] that unleashes a large amount of Dragon Slayer power through the user's body.

With this technique, the user's strength, speed, and potential are increased several times, allowing them to face enemies far more powerful than themselves, entering a state of enhanced consciousness and maximum physical capacity as their elements envelop them. In this state, the user demonstrates heightened reflexes and extremely fast information processing, amplifying the powers of their Dragon Slayer magic without exhausting themselves. This state grants the user the ability to perform new spells and makes their pre-existing spells far more powerful, with various users employing several abilities only in Drive.

Gilgamesh's aura emanated flames so hot that the entire ground around him was melting and turning into lava, while his entire body was immersed in bubbling flames.

Far away, Crom Cruach narrowed his eyes. He could feel the immense power even from his position—not only that, but it was a Dragon Slayer aura, far stronger than anything he had ever seen.

An excited smile crossed his face as he imagined the battle ahead while further increasing his power.

And so, the battle began.

Both charged at each other at such speed that they appeared as blurs.

When they met in the middle of the battlefield, their fists collided.

Crom Cruach's fist was enveloped in an immense amount of his draconic aura, while Gilgamesh's was immersed in a massive aura of Dragon Slayer flames.

Crom Cruach grimaced as Gilgamesh's flames burned his skin—not just any fire could burn a Dragon.

This only made Crom Cruach even more excited.

Everything around them began to be destroyed by the pressure exerted when they clashed.

Both stepped back as Crom Cruach created a pair of draconic wings on his back and shot into the sky.

Gilgamesh quickly followed, shaping his flames into dragon wings and charging toward the Evil Dragon.

They began to clash in the air, becoming two flashes of light that collided with each other.

Crom Cruach had more physical strength than Gilgamesh, as he was a legendary dragon, and his power was further enhanced by being compressed into human form.

Gilgamesh, however, had more destructive power, as his purgatory flames burned everything that came near, and even Crom Cruach felt their effects.

Both advanced against each other, destroying everything in their path.

Crom Cruach's aura crushed anything that came against it, including Gilgamesh's flames.

Gilgamesh's flames, on the other hand, incinerated everything in their path—they didn't just burn or char; they erased everything from existence.

It was a clash between Gilgamesh's flames and Crom Cruach's crushing aura.

Crom Cruach stepped back from Gilgamesh, feeling the danger of the flames, before deciding to fight with his own.

Inflating his lungs, Crom Cruach released an immense amount of flames into the sky toward Gilgamesh.

The entire sky was painted red as the Evil Dragon's flames came to life, the clouds themselves burned until none remained.

Crom Cruach is an immensely powerful Dragon, there's no doubt about that.

In the past, he was controlled by the Evil God Balor with his mystic eyes, but Balor fought and was killed by the Celtic God Lugh. Once freed, Crom Cruach did something different from what any other Dragon would do.

He trained.

Crom Cruach didn't set out in search of chaos and destruction.

He simply wandered the human world and the underworld, training every day since he was freed from Balor.

He trained to the point where his body could barely move after training, and through this, he gained power capable of rivaling the Heavenly Dragons.

He didn't have flashy abilities like Ddraig's [Blazing Inferno of Scorching Flames] that could burn even a God or Albion's [Reduce] that was a poison capable of reducing a God's existence to nothing.

He had only his flames, his aura, and his claws—the most basic abilities of a Dragon.

But he trained and mastered his abilities to the point where he could rival even Ddraig and Albion.

Through pure training, he reached the pinnacle a Dragon could achieve through training, just as Vasco Strada reached the pinnacle of Humanity, Crom Cruach reached the pinnacle a Dragon could reach.

Yet Gilgamesh advanced through Crom Cruach's flames without fear, passing through them to the Evil Dragon's surprise.

Due to using the [Purgatory Dragon Slayer Magic], Gilgamesh was completely immune to any flames, especially those of a dragon.

Seeing this, Crom Cruach simply unleashed a wave of his aura against Gilgamesh.

An immense golden and black aura surged toward Gilgamesh with power capable of bringing down some God-class beings.

But Gilgamesh stopped in the air and assumed a stance as if he were holding something.

"Purgatory Dragon Secret Art: Gehenna Scythe"

(Author: Gehenna means a place of eternal torment by fire. Hell)

An immense amount of Dragon Slayer flame aura gathered in Gilgamesh's hands and took the form of a massive flaming scythe with a draconic skull at its top.

Gilgamesh swung his scythe, unleashing its flames like an enormous red laser that incinerated everything in its path.

It incinerated everything in its way, including Crom Cruach's aura, and continued advancing, burning everything.

Crom Cruach quickly dodged the flaming scythe's laser aura, which continued advancing, creating a massive cut in the earth, turning it into lava as it moved toward the ocean, causing an immense explosion of flames that engulfed part of the sea and some mountains.

Crom Cruach widened his eyes at the destruction, then turned his gaze back to Gilgamesh, who was inflating his lungs.

"Purgatory Dragon's Roar"

Gilgamesh roared, releasing an immense stream of crimson flames from his mouth that advanced, incinerating everything toward Crom Cruach.

Crom Cruach immediately opened his mouth, and a massive torrent of flames erupted from it. The flames were so intense that they turned everything to ash.

Both flames flew toward each other before colliding. The impact generated by both flames was so destructive that it vaporized everything around them. However, Crom Cruach's eyes widened when Gilgamesh's flames began to consume his own. His flames! Eaten by this flame?!

Crom Cruach poured more power into his flames, but all he managed was to make them cancel each other out.

Crom Cruach quickly flapped his wings, dispersing the surrounding dust, only to widen his eyes at what Gilgamesh was doing.

The entire sky was covered with enormous orbs made entirely of flames, each with the appearance of a flaming demonic skull.

"Purgatory Dragon Secret Art: Purgatory Star"

Then all the skulls rained down like drops of water in a storm against Crom Cruach.

Crom Cruach quickly flapped his wings, dodging the skulls that, upon hitting the ground, created massive explosions of flames that melted everything they touched.

Crom Cruach dodged them all skillfully, but Gilgamesh kept launching more, making it harder to evade.

Crom Cruach raised his right hand, which transformed into a massive Dragon claw to further increase its power, and concentrated an immense amount of aura.

Crom Cruach swung his hand toward the flaming skulls and unleashed his aura completely, annihilating them all in an instant.

Even after destroying all the flaming skulls, Crom Cruach grimaced as he saw his hand was partially burned.

The flame was obviously hot enough to injure him, and it was infused with an immense amount of Dragon Slayer aura.

Even so, Crom Cruach began to smile.

How long had it been since he fought at this level?

"You're truly impressive, Sekiryuutei, but you still haven't used your Longinus," said Crom Cruach seriously, as he was very curious about the power Gilgamesh would wield if he used his Longinus.

Gilgamesh, observing, smiled.

"Very well, I suppose against you, I can let loose," said Gilgamesh, raising his left arm.

Then a red gauntlet with two green jewels and ten golden spikes manifested on Gilgamesh's arm.

It was the [Boosted Gear], the Gauntlet of the Red Dragon Emperor.

"Very well, you'll be the first to witness this, Crom Cruach," said Gilgamesh, smiling, while the Evil Dragon almost laughed in anticipation.

"Balance Breaker"

At that moment, the entire world fell silent as Gilgamesh spoke, and his words were heard by all.

And then the world trembled.

An immense pillar of crimson energy erupted from the [Boosted Gear] and rose to the heavens, piercing the clouds, destroying the earth, and parting the seas.

The colossal pressure was felt by everyone, even Crom Cruach, who felt wary of the power he was sensing.

A single arm emerged from the immense aura, and with a single swing, the pillar of energy dissipated.

When the aura faded, Gilgamesh was revealed, wearing a red draconic armor with green jewels and golden details, with two massive wings on his back.

[Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker: Celestial Essence of the Welsh Dragon]

Ddraig's voice announced Gilgamesh's Balance Breaker.

His own Balance Breaker, a subspecies Balance Breaker created by Gilgamesh.

Celestial Essence of the Welsh Dragon.

Crom Cruach was surprised, as it was a Balance Breaker completely different from any he had seen.

"This is my Subspecies Balance Breaker, [Celestial Essence of the Welsh Dragon]," said Gilgamesh, smiling from behind the armor.

Subspecies were extremely rare and powerful forms of Sacred Gears that deviated from their normal forms.

They occurred when the wielder's mindset was so radically different from the norm that the standard form didn't suit them.

Because Sacred Gears responded to their wielders, they would change into a form that suited the wielder. That was what a subspecies was.

Normally, they occurred only in the Balance Breakers of Sacred Gears. For example, the normal Balance Breaker of Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing was the Scale Mail, which most of their wielders would obtain upon reaching Balance Breaker.

However, if the wielder's mindset was radically different from the average Sekiryuutei or Hakuryuukou, the Balance Breaker would change to suit them.

And unlike normal Balance Breakers, which have a set name, Subspecies names were up to the wielders to decide. The Sacred Gear would provide a name, but it was more a suggestion than a fixed rule, unlike a normal Balance Breaker.

Gilgamesh created his subspecies because he didn't like the normal Balance Breaker form, as he believed too much power was wasted.

So instead of exploding the Heavenly Dragon's power outward, Gilgamesh imploded the power within his body, reinforcing his entire body—starting with his organs, then bones and muscles, and finally his skin. Then an extremely condensed amount of his power leaked from his body, transforming into an armor far more powerful than the normal one.

Of course, Gilgamesh had to train his body intensely to withstand this power, or his body could explode in a mess of blood if his physical form couldn't contain the power of this subspecies.

Gilgamesh extended his hand as he decided to start the attack.

A small red sphere began to form in his hand as Gilgamesh poured power into it.

[Boost!]

Then it doubled in size.

Again and again.

Like a balloon held under a faucet, the sphere of light expanded, growing with each heartbeat until a spinning ball of pure energy the size of a fist hovered before Gilgamesh's open hand, shining with all the majesty of a small sun.

Crom Cruach widened his eyes as he realized the level of magic contained in the small sphere and understood how much power it held. Power enough for Crom Cruach to know that taking it head-on would hurt a lot and cause severe injuries.

"Dragon Shot"

Then he fired.

Faster than any mortal eye could track, it shot through the air, a crimson beam of light tearing its path toward the Strongest Evil Dragon.

The single glance Crom Cruach caught as it flew told him this was not something he could face and come out unscathed, not with the waves of power radiating from it like a star.

Crom Cruach only managed to react because his instincts were extremely sharp due to all his training.

Quickly, knowing he couldn't dodge, Crom Cruach crossed his arms, transformed into Dragon claws, and concentrated all his aura into defense.

When the beam hit his hands with full force at high speed, as if it were a physical thing and not a construct of pure energy, the Evil Dragon's limbs didn't buckle. His hands held it without yielding to the strain. Below him, the ground shattered, breaking into a web of cracks as it opened a crater, forced to bear the weight of the pressure placed upon it while Crom Cruach refused to be moved, the scarlet beam pressed into his palm releasing prisms of light in all directions.

The standoff lasted a brief second before the beam began to waver as it destabilized.

The eruption that followed immediately made Crom Cruach feel as if he were in the heart of a sun. Everything around him vanished, swept away by a sea of flames, leaving him surrounded by it. It parted around his hand like liquid fire, falling to the sides as if it contained the waves of an ocean.

Crom Cruach made the best choice in his mind and used his strength to throw the beam of energy away, which continued advancing nonetheless.

The line of light, so high it reached the clouds behind Crom Cruach, kept advancing as it pierced the very sky.

Crom Cruach looked back and saw the devastation of the technique, but what he saw shocked him.

The mountain range that once stood behind him simply no longer existed.

It didn't crack at its touch, it didn't melt—it was vaporized, vanishing into a mist of haze. The crimson light continued to descend upon the mountain range, splitting it entirely in two, leaving behind molten sludge that burned with red fire at the edges of its passage.

It didn't stop at the mountain.

The crimson beam of light continued forward, literally stretching toward the horizon, disappearing somewhere in the distant sky where even Crom Cruach's eyes couldn't see. Then, as if the sky itself had been cut, a tear in the sky trailed after the beam, as the beam managed to pierce the boundaries of the artificial dimension they were fighting in, allowing a glimpse of what lay beyond. An endless landscape, iridescent ripples appearing and disappearing—the Dimensional Gap—a sight that hurt just to look at.

Fortunately for the combatants, the artificial dimension seemed capable of repairing itself and fixed the damage. The tear in the sky faded almost as quickly as it appeared as the fabric forming the dimension's boundaries mended itself.

And everything in between? Gone, reaped by the crimson energy. Nothing had slowed it down. From the nearby mountains to the distant hills, everything gave way to the narrow beam of light with equal ease, evaporating instantly at its touch.

Around him, Crom Cruach noticed everything was overheated by the power unleashed by Gilgamesh.

The clouds had superheated, the air around Crom Cruach was scalding, burning his throat to the point it almost hurt to breathe. He wasn't sure if it was caused by the attack or not, but the air temperature was hot enough that a human would have died instantly. As it was, the heat still irritated his lungs.

He was a damn Dragon, and even so, the heat was bothering him.

Crom Cruach realized at that moment that Gilgamesh's power was at the level of a Heavenly Dragon.

Yet even so, an excited smile crossed his face.

"Here I go," said Gilgamesh as his wings spread.

"Come," said Crom Cruach with a massive smile.

Gilgamesh's wings extended, and he shot toward Crom Cruach.

The speed was so great that the Evil Dragon couldn't see him and only reacted on pure instinct, defending against Gilgamesh's strike.

Taking the opportunity, Crom Cruach landed a powerful punch to Gilgamesh's stomach, causing his armor to crack slightly before repairing itself.

Gilgamesh quickly elbowed Crom Cruach, sending him flying backward.

Both charged at each other again, engaging in an immense battle.

Punches and more punches were exchanged across the trembling barrier as their powers were unleashed across the battlefield.

The very atmosphere shook as the two combatants clashed.

Gilgamesh had more speed and magical power, which, combined with his techniques, increased his strength, while Crom Cruach had more physical strength and destructive power.

Gilgamesh's speed was so great that Crom Cruach couldn't even see him, but his immense instincts easily covered for it, allowing Crom Cruach to defend against Gilgamesh's strikes.

Waves of flames and auras were released across the battlefield, annihilating everything they touched.

Gilgamesh quickly landed a blow to Crom Cruach's chest imbued with [Penetrate!], causing the Evil Dragon to spit blood as he was sent crashing to the ground.

Gilgamesh wasn't done. He raised his hand, and dozens of orbs made of scarlet red energy appeared around him.

[Boost! Boost! Boost!]

Quickly, they all grew, increasing in size until they were the size of basketballs.

They weren't as powerful as the first one, but their quantity more than made up for it.

[Penetrate!]

Gilgamesh imbued them with his [Penetrate!] to further increase their destructive power, and with a wave of his hands, he fired them.

Crom Cruach, who had recovered, watched everything in surprise before a massive smile appeared on his face.

All the spheres fell like crimson drops of pure power toward the ground where Crom Cruach stood.

The energy spheres rained down on Crom Cruach, who dodged them at high speed, sensing their power.

They were created with great power, each one capable of vaporizing an entire city.

When the orbs hit the ground, everything around them was engulfed in a sphere of flames and destruction, reduced to nothing.

Crom Cruach continued dodging or deflecting them with his aura, but it reached a point where it became impossible.

In a small slip, one of the spheres hit Crom Cruach, causing him to lose his balance momentarily.

And that moment was more than enough for Gilgamesh to direct all the spheres at Crom Cruach, which exploded upon hitting the Evil Dragon.

Everything exploded as Gilgamesh's power collided with Crom Cruach, sending everything flying.

When the dust settled, it was revealed that the once-beautiful landscape had been reduced to nothing but rubble filled with destruction.

To Gilgamesh's surprise, Crom Cruach emerged from it.

Crom Cruach burst through the rocks that buried him, blood dripping from his mouth and forehead. His back was clearly burned, with smoke rising from it—he had just lost one of his wings! Though it could be regenerated later, perhaps, this injury was clearly significant!

Yet, despite the pain, he couldn't help but smile. This pain… How long had it been since he felt this pain? How long had it been since there was someone who could fight him like this?

How long had it been since he felt so exhilarated?! Was this fun?!

A low laugh escaped his mouth before turning into full laughter.

"Hahahahahaha, that's it! How long has it been since I fought like this! You're a true opponent, Sekiryuutei Gilgamesh," roared Crom Cruach in pure joy.

Even Gilgamesh couldn't help but smile; he felt the same as Crom Cruach.

Whenever Gilgamesh fought, he had to hold back to avoid killing his enemies or at least to have some fun in the battle.

But against Crom Cruach, that wasn't necessary—the Evil Dragon could withstand anything he threw at him.

How long had it been since he fought like this?!

"But I know this isn't your maximum! Come at me with everything, Sekiryuutei, and I'll respond with my maximum," said Crom Cruach in joy.

A massive smile crossed Gilgamesh's face.

"Let's do this, Ddraig," said Gilgamesh to his host.

[Let's go, partner, let's show the true power of the Dragon of Domination,] roared Ddraig in agreement.

Gilgamesh crossed his arms in front of his body, and an immense, menacing aura began to rise around him, making even Crom Cruach instinctively recoil.

"I, who am about to awaken"

Words were just that: words. Sounds, syllables, vibrations in the air. They held no more weight or force than a clap of hands or a dog's bark. The only meaning they had was the one we gave them.

It was something simple, yet Crom Cruach knew this was anything but simple.

A primal part of the Evil Dragon, the part of his brain without language, more animal instinct than thought, screamed in terror. The fear of a child knowing with absolute certainty that a monster was hiding under their bed, waiting for the chance to grab their ankles and drag them under. Of cavemen huddled around a fire, knowing a predator lurked in the darkness, a monster on a scale beyond imagination waiting for them to step beyond the safety of the firelight to devour them whole.

If there were ever words of power, these were them. It felt like they could be heard with more than just ears, the words reverberating in their souls and stirring a deep part of them that made them want nothing more than to find a dark corner to hide in.

Crom Cruach knew that if he let Gilgamesh finish, he would likely lose, but even so, he didn't move.

Crom Cruach simply took a battle stance, smiling as he waited for Gilgamesh to complete his power.

"I am the Heavenly Dragon who stole the principles of Domination from God"

Juggernaut Drive.

The forbidden power hidden deep within the Boosted Gear, granting the user a means to remove the limits placed on the Boosted Gear and invoke the full power of a Heavenly Dragon.

A power that put its user on equal footing with the Gods themselves.

But it came at a price—to wield power capable of obliterating any enemy, the user had to sacrifice their life.

The Juggernaut Drive would devour the user's magical power and life force, using them as fuel.

Essentially, a suicidal technique.

"I laugh at the 'Infinite' and suffer with the 'Dream'"

Gilgamesh's armor began to grow as he recited the chant.

The armor became increasingly dragon-like.

Gilgamesh's arms became massive claws, while his legs turned into Dragon paws.

His wings grew even larger as the green jewels scattered across the armor glowed.

Gilgamesh's head elongated, transforming into a Dragon's head as several golden spikes appeared around him.

"I shall become the Red Dragon of Domination"

Gilgamesh continued reciting his words as the menacing aura around him kept growing.

Gilgamesh's power increased as everyone felt the crushing pressure weighing on their bodies.

"And I shall sink you into the depths of crimson purgatory"

The aura around Gilgamesh grew even more as his body became increasingly like that of a massive Red Dragon.

Then Gilgamesh roared.

"Juggernaut Drive"

Gilgamesh roared to the sky as he activated the ultimate technique of the [Boosted Gear].

A roar so powerful that the clouds were erased, the earth destroyed, and the sea vaporized as the temperature of the environment skyrocketed.

The moment Gilgamesh activated the Juggernaut Drive, he should have been considered dead, as that was the effect of the technique.

But that's not what happened with Gilgamesh.

"Submit"

With a single word, Gilgamesh gained complete control of the Juggernaut Drive.

With his overwhelming power, Gilgamesh subdued all the previous wielders of the [Boosted Gear], and with his unyielding willpower, he gained control of the Juggernaut Drive.

For he was the great King of Heroes and would not allow a mere curse to influence his mind.

In an instant, Gilgamesh gained complete control of his power, as the uncontrolled aura of the Juggernaut Drive merged into his body.

With a single word, he gained control of the Juggernaut Drive.

When Gilgamesh overcame the previous wielders of the [Boosted Gear], it simply allowed him to use the Juggernaut Drive without losing his life or magical power, but the hatred of the former users was still there.

The hatred of dozens of people could drive anyone mad, but Gilgamesh was no ordinary person.

He would not allow the mere hatred of the Longinus' former users to affect him.

Crom Cruach smiled as he saw the power emanating from Gilgamesh, and the King of Heroes advanced.

Crom Cruach had no time to react as, in an instant, Gilgamesh was in front of him.

If, when using the Balance Breaker, Crom Cruach couldn't see Gilgamesh but his instincts could warn him, now they couldn't.

Even with his instincts, Crom Cruach couldn't see or sense Gilgamesh moving.

Gilgamesh appeared in front of Crom Cruach, and using his claw, he grabbed the Evil Dragon's head, and with a single swing, Crom Cruach was hurled to the ground.

Crom Cruach had no time to react as Gilgamesh was already in front of him, beginning to punch.

Gilgamesh simply pummeled Crom Cruach with immense force while his arms were fully immersed in a massive aura imbued with [Penetrate!].

Crom Cruach couldn't even react; all he could do was try to defend against Gilgamesh's immensely powerful blows.

Crom Cruach quickly unleashed all his aura, trying to push Gilgamesh away, as the Evil Dragon already felt his consciousness fading.

Crom Cruach quickly shot away when he managed to escape Gilgamesh's grasp, but before he could react, Gilgamesh was already in front of him.

It was a single blow, a concentrated strike with an immense aura combined with [Penetrate!], hitting Crom Cruach in the stomach.

Crom Cruach vomited large amounts of blood before being sent flying toward the ground, causing an impact several times larger than Kuoh.

When the dust settled, Crom Cruach was revealed in the middle of the crater, with blood leaking from his body and several broken bones.

Crom Cruach was unconscious, a smile on his face.

Gilgamesh roared in victory as his Juggernaut Drive was deactivated.

Against the overwhelming power of the King of Heroes, even the Strongest Evil Dragon could do nothing.

For he was the Dragon of Domination, and all enemies would fall before him.
