Stacy's POV
I gasped, turned pale, and my hands were over my lips, covering them due to the shock I had faced. My heart drummed, but before I could say anything, Kai had started to make his way back into the mansion.
I wanted to go after him, but for some reason, my legs were still frozen in place from the shock that he gave to me.
Suddenly he stood in place, his back facing me.
"Go home Stacy," he started, and gave a small pause. "Do not come to where you're not needed," he expressed, and at that moment, my heart felt like there was a hole. I felt my emotions running in circles. Infact, I was really confused. I tried my best to be able to understand what had happened to him, but I really didn't have any idea. He just changed towards me overnight.
I dragged my feet away. There, and back to my car feeling embarrassed. My heart was heavy with thoughts.
Returning back home, I headed straight to my room, then the shower. I wanted to make sure I cleared my head, and made sure my eyes didn't get too swollen from all the crying. My wedding was supposed to be in two days time, but it seemed like it was already off from the attitude he kept giving.
Once I had taken my bath, I sat on my bed, my mind reeling around everything when I heard a knock on my door. I thought it was one of the maids, so I turned my head away, but when the door opened, I discovered it was my parents.
They both looked worried, and stood by the door for a few seconds to observe me before walking over to where I was seated.
"Are you alright?" My mom asked, and at that very moment I nodded my head, but she shook hers.
"You know you can tell us anything. We know you aren't alright. If not anything, for the fact that you didn't eat dinner. That's enough to make us worried," she explained, and I sighed.
"You're right. Yes, there's something wrong, and I really can't lie to you about it anymore. It's Kai. He has changed a lot, and I'm worried the wedding might not go on."
They didn't say anything, nor did I notice any form of worry on their faces.
"Maybe he needs some time alone. I mean, there are so many things on his mind. We aren't lying to you, your father and I have been trying to reach out to him as well, but he hasn't responded."
I turned my head towards them, "and you both didn't tell me?"
They shook their heads. "Hey, who knows, "he might be better before the wedding so have faith okay?"
I nodded, and they sat with me for a little while, before leaving me alone.
My chest was heavy, and I laid down, staring at my ceiling when I suddenly saw him.
His eyes stared at me with intensity, and his movements made me feel hot inside.
"Liam..." I called, but before I got to say anything, he slammed his lips against mine, kissing me ever so passionately.
I tried to fight it, but I couldn't. My heart, my body, and even my wolf wanted it. I moaned into his lips, my body shivering under his touch. Even the slightest contact with his skin made me feel hot. From my lips, he started to trial kisses down my neck.
"Liam, stop... Mmm.." I moaned, trying to contain myself. Slowly, I felt my pussy starting to get wet, and my nipples hardened.
"Fuck!" I moaned, feeling my body react in ways I couldn't understand. However, at that moment, I jolted back to reality, breathing hard.
Sweat trailed my body, and I was breathing so hard I wasn't sure I could understand what had just happened.
I stood up from the bed to realise I had dozed off only to have that disgusting dream.
"Damn it...' I expressed, running my hands through my hair as I stared outside the window to see it was the early hours of the night. I had rested my head immediately early, and now I couldn't sleep anymore.
Besides that the thought of him being so distant was what killed me. I sat on my bed, and exhaled when suddenly, my phone rang. My eyes turned towards the direction where it had been kept on the counter.
I struggled to pick it up, but my confusion turned into when I saw who was calling.
My eyes widened, and I took in a deep breath before taking the call.
"Hello?"I answered, waiting for a response.
"Stacy..." He called, and for the first time, I could sense the calmness in his voice. It had been so long since he spoke to me in this manner. This was the Kai I had been longing for a very long time.
"Yes Kai, I'm here. How are you?" I asked, and he responded gently.
"Fine dear. Do you mind coming to the Denvort's Mansion tomorrow, I'll love to see you."
My heart leaped the moment he said that, maybe he had thought about the way he spoke to me.
"Um yes sure. I'll be there tomorrow as early as I can get ready,"I explained, and he laughed.
"Alright then, see you..." He explained, and ended the call. As soon as the call ended, I heaved, placing both my hands over my chest.
"Yes! Thank you moon goddess, thank you for everything, you finally granted me my heart desire!" I exhaled, and smiled happily, my time was now.
The next morning, I got dressed, and started my journey with my guards since it was too risky to go alone, especially after the experience I got recently.
After what seemed like forever, we finally got there. I didn't bother asking the butler, but something seemed off the moment I stepped in.
It was too much, it seemed there was no one around, and even the butler who normally answered to me wasn't to be found.
I hummed, my brows arching. "Hello?" I called out, making a move to find him. Who knew maybe there was a surprise going on.
I walked through the hallway, and since I had been to his room on one of my visits, I decided to actually think of going to check up on him there.
In no moment, I arrived closer to his room, but for some reason, I felt unsettled. I stood there, and took in a deep breath, trying to put on my best smile. However, as soon as I twisted the door knob open, my smile slowly started to fade, and the excitement in my eyes slowly died down.
"Who's she?!" I questioned, and Immediately felt my heart being ripped.
A naked woman laid comfortably in his bed.
