Cherreads

Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

Stacy's POV

The day of the wedding finally arrived, everything was set. The people, the chairs, and even the whole place. Everyone was ready to see how the ceremony was going to be.

I, on the other hand, was very anxious. I was worried, and stressed, and at the same time, I felt like I didn't know what I was doing anymore.

"Are you alright?" my father asked, trying to cheer me up. He must have noticed how tense I was. However, I decided to play it cool. The truth was that the text I had received some days earlier had been ringing in my mind.

Soon, the music started to play, and my father held my hands, walking down the aisle as he tried to assure me of everything being fine, but for some reason I didn't believe it.

My wolf wss silent, and I tried to calm myself down, hoping that at least everything was going to go smoothly.

Well, it turned out to be the exact opposite when I got there. My eyes scanned the place for Kai, but the groom was nowhere to be found.

"Where's the groom?" Soke guest had started to ask, but then someone was able to intervene.

"Let's wait for a while. Besides, there's a possibility that something must have held himm" once that was said I managed to calm my tensed self down a little. But then seconds turned inu minutes, and we were still waiting.

At this time, my father was getting anxious himself, and even the crowd had started murmuring.

"What the hell is going on? Why didn't he come here?" That and many more questions were asked, but I also wasn't able to give an answer.

Suddenly a particular entrance caught our attention, and I felt a little relieved the moment I set my eyes on him. He was dressed in a casual manner, and it bothered me.

He walked past me, not wanting to spare me a glance as he walked to the stage.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked myself, watching how he collected the microphone that was in the hands of the officiator.

"Good morning everyone. You all must be wondering where the groom is. Well, he's not coming, and the wedding has been cancelled."

"What?!" I heard my father's voice. He immediately stood up from his seat, and immediately frowned his face. "What are you trying to say?!" My father roared, but I stood frozen in place.

Asides that, the commotion in the crowd had already started to grow. It didn't make any sense at this time, and I was just trying my best to be able to make sense of everything.

Amidst the chaos, I still found a way to rush towards him. I was really worried, and tried to make sense of everything.

Not wanting to lose the chance, I rushed after Liam, and immediately grabbed his hands, and pushed him close to the nearest wall I could find.

"What did you just say? How can you say such a thing!" I yelled at him, gritting my teeth, but he didn't react. His expression remained the same.

"Where is he?!" I switched the question when he didn't answer the first one.

He stared into my eyes. "At the mansion," he expressed. The moment the words left his lips, I rushed away from the wedding scene.

As I ran, my ball gown rubbed against the floor, picking up anything in its way. Dirt, branches of trees, leaves, dust, whatever it could.

"Damn it!" I screamed, and turned to the lower part of the dress. It was so annoying that I was trying to get to the mansion fast, but the dress, and the dirt attached to it was more than what I could carry.

Without thinking, I grabbed the power part of the dress, and with all the strength that I had in me, I pulled the dress, making it to be a shorter version.

I dumped the one that I had ripped away from there on the ground, and continued on my way. The venue to the Denvort's mansion was a bit far, but my anger fueled the way I walked.

"How could you do this to me? You disgraced me in public, and now you want to get away with it? I won't let that happen!" I was very serious about it because I didn't deserve anything but an explanation from him.

I was finally understanding Liam's words, and then the text that was sent to me that day, I was finally understanding it. Everything was becoming clearer, but still... I wanted an explanation.

Finally getting to the packhouse, I walked through the hallway to get to his room since that was the logical place I suspected he was going to be at first.

"Don't stop, oh my... Fuck..." I heard moans as I approached, and my steps slowed down a bit.

My heart started to race, and despite the fact that I tried to make sense of whatever was going on, I just couldn't.

"Fuck... You are so... Mmmm... Yes baby, yes baby girl, oh men, you know how to make me--- ugh..." His groans filled the place. I was sure I was mistaken. That was his voice. It was supposed to be our wedding day, but he abandoned it for sex?

Now I was bitter, curious, and at the same time worried about reh way things were.

The pressure became so much. I couldn't sit back, and listen to the moans anymore. I wanted to know if that was truly him, and who the woman was.

I pushed open the door, and I watch how he was sliding in and out of the woman in the most passionate manner. His hands cup her breasts while she was in a doggy position, and they were both covered in sweat.

However, I recognised the face as soon as her hair was out of the way, and my eyes widened.

"It's her!" I exclaimed inwardly. The same woman who challenged me the other day.
