"So he hasn't been home in three days? But I saw him at the funeral," Aveline said a little later.
Daniel had refused to hop off her lap. He sat there, the side of his head buried to her chest as he played with his tab.
It was as if he was scared if he moved an inch, she would disappear and he wouldn't see her again.
"No Ave. Maybe he has been in the family house? I don't know." She shrugged.
"Well that's a burst," Aveline sighed.
Joanne's face lit up. "Is it true, Ave?"
"Is what true?"
She looked down, and Aveline instantly knew what she was talking about.
A blush covered her entire face. "It is."
Joanne started to cry again, and Meredith joined her.
"Why are you both crying? I'm the pregnant one here," she said, very much confused.
"Pregnant? You're pregnant, Aveline?" Daniel lowered the device to ask her.
"I'm having twins," she whispered into his little ears.
"Two boys so we can play with uncle Atlas together!" He said, and hugged her.
