Aveline, staring directly at Landon, took cautious steps backwards.
"What are you doing here? How did you even get in here?" She asked him.
"I saw the news, Vee. I had to see you. I'm so sorry for every–"
"Shut up!" She cut him right off. "Not another word out of your mouth. I want you out of my sight."
"Vee please, you've gotta listen to—"
"Security! Where is the goddamn security!" She screamed at the top of her voice.
"Jesus Christ Vee, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to talk!"
"Security! Come get this intruder out of here please!"
Two hefty looking men walked towards them, and she pointed directly at Landon.
"He's not supposed to be here. I don't know who let him in but he's not supposed to be here. Get him out. Now!"
"You heard the madam, sir. You need to leave," one of the guards said respectfully.
Landon looked at Aveline through the lens of a heartbroken man.
