They couldn't believe what they were seeing.
"Has anyone seen Atlas?" Vanna questioned the cousins table next to theirs, as Aveline returned to her seat.
"No, I haven't," Freya replied.
"I'm worried," she said.
But it wasn't just out of natural concerns. It was because she knew what Aveline meant to Atlas, and now that she was back, it would be a problem for her.
She was about to rise to go search for him, when she spotted Zack walking towards their table.
He had drawn closer when Aveline from her table spotted him too. But he didn't see her.
Curiosity claimed her gaze, and she found herself struggling to concentrate.
"Miss Vanna?" Zack whispered to Vanna as he stopped by her table.
"Hey Zack. Is there a problem?"
"It's sir Atlas," he said.
"What is wrong with Atlas?" She gasped louder than she was supposed to.
The cousin's ears snapped open.
"Did I just hear Atlas? What is wrong with him?" Riley questioned.
