"Okay." Zixuan nodded with sincerity, though confused about what "responsibility" had to do with his forced marriage. Haoran wasn't his first time, but he was the first person Zixuan had taken from behind.
He shook his head. Why was he having thoughts about that man? He walked out of his mom's room to the dining room, where the food was already set and laid on the table.
The mouth-watering sight made his stomach grumble. Joining his parents at the table, he chowed down on the food.
"Slow down, dear," Mrs. Fu said worriedly, praying he wouldn't choke.
"Are you interested in working in any branch of our company?" Mr. Fu asked casually, but with expectation.
"What are you saying?" Mrs. Fu interrupted immediately. "Don't you know his condition?"
"My bad."
"My condition?" Zixuan repeated. As far as he could remember, there was nothing wrong with him.
"Nothing," Mrs. Fu said quickly, shooting her husband a warning look before turning back to her son with a forced smile.
