"Why don't you find out?" Zixuan smirked.
Ruolan just laughed, unbothered by the hidden threat in his words. "You are afraid, aren't you?"

He made sure to scan from her forehead down to her face to make sure the disgust in his eyes was obvious. "Afraid? You think I'm afraid of someone like you?" He added a chuckle to show her how he took her words as a joke.
"Yes," she replied with utmost confidence.
"Then that's your business. I don't have much time to argue with a lady," Zixuan said. "Stay away from Haoran," he added.
"No. Let's make a deal—Haoran will be mine." Ruolan's eyes glistened with confidence.
"What gave you such confidence?" Zixuan asked. He also couldn't believe he was having such a conversation with a woman.
