Seeing my looks and hearing what he said, his suspicions for the most part subsided, "Alright let's leave it at that then, so here's the gig." He said before his eyes began to glow while the gig details began to appear on my hud.
"Three days from now a Diplomat from the NUSA is flying in on a Aerial convoy from South California all the way to here in Night City, from what my informant told me the Diplomat wants to get clearance for the NUSA to send their forces into Night City to attack my territory and take me down because of my defection during the Unification War."
"Now I know for a fact that even if this Diplomat arrived in Night City, the Government and the Corps of Night City would never give the all clear for the NUSA to step anywhere near NC but I can't let this shit from them fly, so they need to pay the price."
"However as it could become a diplomatic issue if the Diplomat was killed out right, but if the death was say either an accident or possibly the guy just went and put some iron his mouth before flatlining himself then that's a different story."
"So the gig is this, I don't care how you do it but so long as his death looks like it was an 'accident' or he off'd himself, then I'd say the mission was a success, but if you get caught or just out right kill the guy, then your not getting a single cred, got it?" Hansen said after he explained everything while the convoy route, the hotel and room the diplomat was staying at along with the route out of the city was all detailed to me.
I nodded as my eyes stopped glowing while my helmet pulled up over my skull face as I stood up, "Don't worry, I'll make sure that 'accident' of his looks to everyone else like it truly was an accident." I said while Arthur stood up before we both left not having any intention with staying any longer.
So soon enough we headed back down and got our weapons back before getting into Arthur's car, "You need anything else for this gig? Or are you fine on your own?" He asked me as we began to make our way out of Dogtown.
"Hmmm… you know I'm thinking of starting to make my own crew here in night city, but for this gig I could use a Netrunner to help with this job, I mean it's no Konpeki Plaza but I need someone to deal with the cameras along the way up to the target, I can shut them off sure but that could make people possibly believe the diplomats death wasn't like an 'accident' that we are planning." I asked Arthur who looked at me with a raised brow.
"You want to make a crew and your asking me for suggestions, and a Netrunner no less? You know if we get someone else on this gig the amount of money you earn will be less right?" He said but I just shrugged.
"The creds are nice but I'm more for building up my street cred than anything, sides I can't be a solo forever in this biz." I say while I look out at the ruined streets of Pacifica while we went back into Night City proper.
Soon enough we ended up back in Santo Domingo right where my garage was located before he came to a stop, "Alright I have a few Netrunners I can see if they are interested in taking on this job as acting as your back up, and don't worry I won't look for anyone who is too green, need a runner who knows what their doing after all." He says to me as I step out of the car.
"Alright Arthur, after you get a list of runners then send it to me and I will see who I want to take up on this mission." I say as he nods before I shut the door as he heads on off to get us a Netrunner while I head back into my garage.
"Should be done by now." I mutter as I walk up to the foundry to see if the weapons I had made were finally done being made at that.
Soon I grabbed the gun and what came out was a suppressed sidearm, "the Vesper 77, the best silent sidearm a player can have in Warframe, well at least that's a pistol." I say as I looked the gun over before putting it in my jacket.
I had every single blueprint for every single weapon in Warframe at my disposal, however I was more inclined to use this worlds weapons as those weapons don't need to rely on modifications in order to gain more power, but that didn't mean they couldn't be modified with Warframe mods as I discovered over at the Arsenal with my weapons as they also showed off their stats along with the mods I could put into them to make them stronger.
So I could have Cyberpunk weapons and use the modifications from this world along with letting them be modified by the mods from Warframe as well.
"Problem is I need materials to make all of these things, and in large quantities at that." I say while looking at all the mods I can make from the broken mods all the way to the Amalgam, Primed and Galvanized mods, they could all be crafted however the more rare the mod the higher the cost to make it.
Right now I could only make some broken bronze mods because of how low on materials I have, but that can wait for later as this mission is more important than some mods and until I face some real threatening groups of guys here even without mods I'm completely fine as is, I just can't deal with extremely heavy hitting guys right now.
But as I didn't have anything left to do I decided to just have the radio play music in the background while I went to rest for the night.
..
.
Two days later.
"Here's the list of Netrunners I could find that were interested in this mission, though I should warn you some of these guys are bordering on cyberpsychosis and some are just plain crazy to begin with." Arthur said showing me the list as I saw plenty of mugshots of everyone he could find with a few having their mugshots have red borders telling me they ain't right in the head.
But one caught my eye in particular, "What's with the nun?" I asked him as we were still on the call.
She seemed completely normal to me but had the red border around her mugshot, I don't know why I was interested in this one as a nun seemed rather strange to be a net runner.
"Her? That girl is known as 'Bloody Maria', real name Frieda Swarez, she's what you would call a Combat Netrunner rather than a normal Netrunner who is constantly connected to the Net she works on the move while hacking her enemies, she prefers to stab her enemies to death to make them 'pay for their sins', it's like she believes she is acting as the righteous hand of god."
"She's good, real good at what she does however usually she kills anyone she works with if she believes they are sinners, so I really don't suggest trying to make a crew with her." Arthur cautioned me to try and make a crew with her.
"Hmmm…. Let me meet this Bloody Maria and if she is as bad as you say then I'll back off, but if not then I'll make her a part of my crew." I said which made Arthur shake his head.
"Well, hope you can deal with her then, I'll send you where she is located." He said before sending the coordinates over the holo.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Vista Del Ray, in an underground chapel a nun could be seen kneeling and praying with blood splattered on the ground, on her clothes and face as the knife beside her was dripping in blood.

She kept murmuring and muttering prayers towards her god, but what was before her was neither the cross nor the Virgin Mary standing on the pedestal above her.
But a strange looking being with four arms raised with one finger missing and the upper half of its head missing while the mouth was plastered in a permanent grin.
Bloody Maria wasn't a Follower of the Christian God anymore, but a believer in something much, much worse.
