Deep in the night of Night City while the neon lights lit up the city in all of its splendor, but I had no time to enjoy it as I was looking down at the highly fortified Cargo ship surrounded by many Militech Soldiers, Bipedal mechs, turrets and security cameras surrounding the area made it hard to get on in.
"Maria, got any plans for me to get on in?" After all my Smoke Screen only lasts for a few seconds before I have to re-engage it, but becoming seen for even a moment could put them all on high alert.
After all I needed to do was destroy this Cargo ship but only if it's out at sea so Militech will have to much trouble just trying to salvage what they are about to lose.
"There, one of the cargo containers is open, best place to hide out while we wait for the Ship to leave port." Maria said through my Holo as I see from her view on the hacked cameras around the port showing one of the Cargo containers open with no one really paying attention to it.
"Got it." I then leap off from my perch as I bullet jumped through the air along with air gliding to one of the cranes that was loading the cargo ship.
I latched to the wall before activating Smoke Screen and double jumping down by the Container without making a sound and slipping on inside.
I found a hidden corner and took my place between the many crates which were loaded with Militech grade Weapons before I began to sit and wait for the ship to leave.
"Maria, how long until this ship leaves port?" I say over the Holo as I saw the Cargo Container doors lock and shut by someone outside, I wasn't worried about getting out of here as the weapons I got on hand can break me out of here.
"From the look of things I would say within the hour." She said showing to me only a few more cargo containers left to be lifted onto the ship before it was ready to go.
It was 4AM right now, the sun wouldn't be up for a few hours but I'm not to surprised the ship would leave early, from what I knew they were having this shipment sent over to Australia for a big weapons deal worth several hundred million creds, destroying this cargo would hurt the companies profits for this year at least.
"Well guess I'll take some rest, try to get a back door into their systems, don't want them to trying to call for help." I say as I relax and wait for the ship to leave the shore.

A few hours later.
"Hayden the Ship is far off the coast now, let's get this job done." She says to me waking me from my nap as I get up and crack my neck.
"You don't need to tell me twice, once the party starts cut off their coms." I say pulling out a special device we had made for this mission, a communications jammer.
Not only would this help Maria stop letting communications from the ship to get out to Militech but it would keep the personnel from getting on their holos to try and call for help as well.
I turned it on before I searched through my holo's songs list and pulled up a song I was familiar with and began playing it, didn't know if this band existed in this world but I felt the song fit what I was about to do.

I then got in front of the door before pulling out my katana and cutting through the lock and opening the cargo container door.
"What the-"
*Splish!*
Before the guard could react in time I jumped down from the second level cargo container above him and drove my katana down through his shoulder and stright past his heart only being stopped by his sub dermal armor over his muscles as I pulled out my blade while he crumped beneath me.
*WOOOO* *WOOO* *WOOO*
Sirens began to go off as Militech soldiers began to head up towards the deck, "Maria, I thought you had the cameras under control?" I said sounding a bit irritated that I was found out this soon by the cameras.
"I have to fully concentrate on dealing with the communication Jamming, the Netrunners have already figured out what I'm doing and are trying to fight back! You want my help them go take them out!" She said as the map of the ship appeared in my hud letting me see where the net runners were at.
"Ugh, fine, probably should get a second dedicated netrunner for our crew at some point." Maria was a good netrunner but she was more suited as a combat netrunner due to her Sandy making her have less overall ram when it comes to hacking enemies.
Unlike the game it wasn't impossible to have more than one CPU in a person just that if you have a Sandy or something else that would have taken that slot in the game you would have much less ram overall for netrunning unless you shut that certain cyberware down for the time being in order to free up more ram to netrun properly, like she was doing now.
"Well tell me when you find one, I'd rather be fighting than behind the PC during gigs, also after this gig that sibling pair has agreed to meet up at Moxxies when this job is done." She told me while I was wall running on the cargo containers while using my Vesper to put a bullet between the eyes of incoming Militech guards.
To say this job was difficult would be a lie, in fact this would be really easy if I went full on stealth but that would take time and thus the ship would get further away from the coast and make it hard to get back to night city, so I decided to go loud with this gig instead of what I usually do.
Now luckily this wasn't heavily fortified cargo ship, so there wasn't any bipedal mechs or sentry turrets protecting the place, there were plenty Militech guards with some heavy fire power sure but it wasn't something I couldn't handle.
So before I knew it all the guards on the deck of the ship had been dealt with before I made my way downwards heading to the Netrunners, killing anyone that got in my way as by this point I've already become desensitized to the thought of killing people anymore, especially with the world I now found myself in.
Soon I reached the Netrunners and took them down before they could fight back, though they had been trying to mess with my tech as I did have the bare minimum of optical cyberware in my eyes making me have to shoot any camera I came across to stop them from trying to mess with my eyes.
It wouldn't have put me in danger or anything but it would have been annoying and messing with my groove at that, but with them dead and a few extra shots from my newly acquired Carnage Shotgun the communications were completely down with no way for anyone to call for help.
"Good, marking the rest of the personnel on the ship, get rid of them, plant the explosives and get off the ship." She said but I shook my head.
"Maria, oh Maria, you know how much of a waste it would be just to destroy all the cargo on this ship?" I say reaching the captains deck and turning off the engines leaving the ship just floating in place.
"What? Your thinking about stealing the Cargo ship? That's not in the gig." She said sounding a bit confused as I hunted down and took out the last of the crew on the ship.
"Maria all this gear is worth several million in creds when sold off on the black market and I believe Hansen would be very interested in buying my surplus stock of weapons, I'll just keep a portion for myself while selling off the rest." I said to her before going back to the cargo container and slashing the doors open to reveal the rows of guns and weapons filling them up and there was over 150 filled containers with weapons inside of them.
"But where are you- wait, are you saying that 'inventory' of yours has infinite space?" Maria said finally realizing what I was doing.
"Heh, well if I classified these weapons as 'My' weapons then no, however if I don't set them as weapons and identify them as 'Miscellaneous' then I have infinite space to fill it, I do have only a limited space for weapons overall." I say finding a loophole in the Warframe inventory system that makes it easy for me to load up on weapons.
It only works because of me not listing them as weapons as if I did I couldn't hold an entire cargo ship worth of weapons like this, but as a result until I list them as a weapon in my inventory I can't use them until I do so for them to be properly equipped for combat.
So with that loophole and taking about an hour I cleaned the entire cargo ship of all of its weapons shipment.
After that I went to the lower decks and planted several bricks of C4 all across the bottom of the ship before heading on up to the upper deck and jumping into a lifeboat that was a high speed motor boat.
Checking it had a full tank of gas I flipped the lever and the boat began its freefall before landing back in the water as I splashed and bobbed on the ocean before pulling away.
"And for the finishing touches." I pull out the detonator after getting a safe distance and aimed back at the Cargo Ship.
*Click*
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
Several explosions went off destroying the ships engine before the cargo ship itself slowly began to sink into the ocean before I turned around and began to speed back towards northern Cali.
Safe to say this gig was now complete, and I'm going to make bank with all the guns I had just acquired.
