Ezra's POV
"Mom, what is the name of your kingdom? And if you're a mage, then do I also have ice powers?" I asked. I was curious.
"Glacien is the name of my kingdom. And I'm not sure if you have powers or not, because I didn't sense anything inside you," she answered.
And just like that, all my hopes shattered into pieces. But it's okay—even if I don't have powers.
"But how will you go? Your father definitely won't agree to send you there."
I understood one thing clearly: the only people who could teach my father a lesson were from Mom's side. So I had to go to Glacien, no matter what. I had to tell them what Mom had gone through.
But I didn't think Glacien was anywhere near our kingdom. I'd never even heard the name before. How could no one have ever mentioned it in the palace all these years?
If Mom hadn't told me herself, I would've never known she was a mage.
