c126 – Extra Rewards! Regeneration Ability
At the same time, pieces of pink powder and sticky mucus suddenly fell from a fleshy cavern-like place inside Buu's body. The strange environment looked like a grotesque world of blood vessels, flesh walls, and endless tunnels exactly as described in the manga when Goku and Vegeta entered Majin Buu's body.
After a long silence, one of the fleshy mounds suddenly began to squirm. The "dough-like" ball gradually melted, and golden rays of light burst outward. The light pushed away the pink tissue around it.
As the slime dissolved completely, Luya's figure appeared within the bizarre internal dimension.
He stood calmly, scanning his surroundings with narrowed eyes, before the corner of his lips lifted.
"It seems… I slipped in smoothly," he murmured.
That's right, his earlier "defeat" was nothing but a trap. The reason he had allowed himself to be absorbed by Majin Buu was because it was a play directed and acted by Luya himself. At the critical instant, instead of letting his body be refined like Gotenks and Piccolo nearly were in the manga, Luya had condensed his ki into a protective barrier, disguising his intent. His goal was simple: infiltrate Buu's body and rescue Trunks.
By chance, as soon as he arrived, his eyes fell upon Gotenks trapped in a chrysalis-like cocoon of flesh, exactly as shown when Goku and Vegeta discovered their allies. Nearby, Fat Buu's unconscious form was also suspended.
"Buu's inner body really is a world of its own… destroying it will take overwhelming power," Luya muttered. He raised his palm and fired several sharp energy blasts toward the constricting tissue.
Shooo! Shooo! Shooo!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
But before his attacks could land, several beams of crimson light erupted, colliding with his ki and dispersing it in mid-air.
"Huh?" Luya frowned, turning.
The fleshy walls writhed, and from them emerged none other than Majin Buu himself, a bloodthirsty grin twisting his face.
"As expected… you're cunning," Buu sneered.
Luya smirked in return. "Not slow to react. But unfortunately, you're already late."
"Late? Hah! This is my body! Anyone who dares intrude will be digested!" Buu's laughter shook the fleshy corridors.
"Then try me," Luya answered, his aura erupting in a golden blaze as he transformed into Super Saiyan. The shockwaves shredded the pink tissue nearby.
Buu's grin widened. The flesh around them suddenly surged like serpents, lunging to bind Luya. He dodged rapidly, weaving through the tunnels, then darted straight at Buu.
"Come on!" Buu mocked, letting Luya's fist slam into his chest. But instead of damage, Buu's elastic flesh absorbed the blow, stretching and snapping back. The wound instantly regenerated, and tendrils of flesh lashed around Luya's arm.
"What?" Luya's eyes narrowed as multiple attacks struck from every direction. With no room to dodge, he was slammed backwards, crashing through several layers of flesh.
Standing again, Luya exhaled. "Interesting… you're far stronger in here than outside."
Buu's mocking laughter echoed. "Why struggle? Join the others… and become part of me!"
"That's impossible." Luya's smirk returned. "I was only testing you. Now, let's get serious." His body blurred and disappeared.
Buu's expression darkened. With a roar, he compressed his ki to lock the space around him, blocking escape routes as he did against Goku and Vegeta. But this was meaningless before Shenshi, Luya's unique technique. In a flash, he appeared directly before Gotenks' cocoon.
"First, weaken you," he said flatly. Two sharp blasts sliced through the fleshy bindings of Gotenks and Fat Buu, cutting them free. Both collapsed, unconscious but alive.
"NOOO!!" Buu howled. Rage contorted his face. Without Gotenks and Fat Buu, his fusion-powered strength plummeted. The condensed clone-form he'd been maintaining melted away, unable to sustain itself.
Luya turned, his aura erupting violently.
"Now… let's see whose power dominates!"
His energy roared upward Super Saiyan 2! Lightning crackled around him as his strength surged higher and higher.
"Ahhhhh!!" His scream echoed through Buu's inner world, shattering the fleshy walls. His golden hair began to lengthen, his eyebrows vanishing his transformation climbing further.
"Impossible…" Buu muttered, eyes wide.
"Super Saiyan… Level 3!!"
Luya's aura tore apart the dimension. His long golden hair whipped down his back, lightning arcs surrounding his colossal ki. His appearance mirrored Son Goku's fabled transformation during their battle with Buu, but his presence was even more ferocious.
Outside, Piccolo froze. Buu's body was swelling grotesquely, bulging as if about to burst. "What's happening inside…? Could it be him?" Piccolo whispered, stunned.
Inside, Luya roared, "HAA!!" His power ruptured Buu's defenses. The monstrous body couldn't endure it. Suddenly, streams of white energy burst from Buu's head. With a gagging scream, Buu vomited out several figures Trunks, Gotenks, and Fat Buu spilling onto the ground outside.
Luya burst free as well, floating calmly, his waist-length golden hair swaying. He smirked, then hurled an energy blast that sent the weakened Buu crashing down.
"That's… Super Saiyan 3!" Piccolo gasped. Now it was clear Luya had forced his power beyond the limits inside Buu.
Luya descended, gathering energy at his waist. His voice thundered:
"Turtle… School… Kame… Hame… HA!!!"
The colossal blue wave ripped across the battlefield like a falling star. Buu, panicked, threw his own massive energy ball to resist but weakened as he was, his attack crumbled under the might of Luya's Super Saiyan 3 Kamehameha.
"AAAAHHHHH!!!" Buu screamed as the wave engulfed him. His regenerative flesh vaporized, leaving no fragments behind. His body dissolved into light, smoke, and finally nothing. Unlike the manga's drawn-out regeneration, Luya's overwhelming power left Buu no chance to recover.
The Kamehameha shot into space, blasting through meteorites before fading.
Hovering in silence, Luya exhaled slowly. He stretched out his senses Buu's ki was truly gone.
"It's over," he said firmly.
