c125: Desperate Situation? Luya is also Absorbed?
Gotenks has been absorbed!
Luya froze for a moment, stunned. That fast? He hadn't expected Majin Buu to move so cleanly.
"Damn it!!!" Piccolo's fury exploded, his voice echoing across the battlefield. His fists shook with frustration. I should never have let those two brats fuse again!
It was obvious now: Majin Buu had been waiting for this. He lured Gotenks into fusing, then pounced at the perfect moment. Absorbing him wasn't chance, it was premeditated.
The Namekian's heart sank. Even he hadn't known until now that Buu had the terrifying ability to absorb people. That realization chilled him more than Buu's raw power.
Up above, the monster's pink body glowed with violent energy. After swallowing Gotenks, Buu's power skyrocketed, bursting out in all directions. The very atmosphere shook, the ground quaked, and even planets light-years away trembled as they sensed his presence.
Luya narrowed his eyes. Do I try to save Gotenks from inside him… or end this here and now? A cruel thought crossed his mind: he could just kill Majin Buu outright and let fate decide. After all, this was a world he had only traveled into, not his true home.
But after a breath, he clenched his fist. No. Mission or not I won't throw children's lives away.
With that decision, Luya's aura erupted again, lightning crackling around him as his power peaked. His golden hair shimmered brighter Super Saiyan 2.
"This will be enough," he muttered.
Buu licked his lips, now wearing Gotenks' vest as part of his form. He grinned with sharpened teeth. "Heh heh heh… you're finished!"
In a blur, Buu launched forward, body glowing with newfound speed.
Bang!
The clash shook the sky. Yet shockingly, Buu was the one sent flying backward, crashing through stone and dirt. Luya stood tall, unmoving, his cold eyes fixed on his enemy.
"What?!" Buu staggered to his feet, disbelief etched on his face. I've absorbed Gotenks… why am I still losing?!
Unwilling to accept it, he teleported in front of Luya, fists flying at speeds beyond mortal vision. But Luya caught the punch effortlessly, fingers clamped around Buu's fist.
"H-how…?" Buu's eyes widened.
Luya's smirk cut like a knife. "Simple. I wasn't fighting at full power before."
His knee shot up, slamming into Buu's stomach. The pink body folded like sponge, deforming grotesquely around the blow.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Luya fired a barrage of energy blasts straight into Buu's gut, shredding holes through him. The demon wailed, but still clung together. With an uppercut, Luya hurled him skyward, then pursued with relentless strikes kicks, chops, hammer blows each one detonating shockwaves across the land.
Piccolo's eyes followed the impossible exchange, sweat dripping down his temple. "Even after absorbing Gotenks, Majin Buu can't keep up? That boy's Super Saiyan 2… is it really stronger than Goku's Super Saiyan 3…?"
Dust clouds raged as Luya drove Buu back into the ground, leaving a massive crater. But Buu, battered and misshapen, still stood, growling with hatred.
Luya's voice was calm, arrogant. "What's wrong? The 'ultimate Majin' doesn't seem so ultimate."
Buu roared and hurled energy bombs wildly. Luya swatted them aside like pebbles, countering with blistering fist and kick combinations. Buu absorbed the punishment, but his regeneration kept him alive.
Luya knew it. Unless I erase him completely, he'll just keep coming back.
"Flash!" Luya hissed, compressing ki into his palm. A blinding strike burst forward, detonating against Buu's chest. The demon howled as his body caved inward, pain wracking his form.
Teleporting above him, Luya sneered. "What's wrong, Buu? Is the 'legendary Majin' this weak?"
Buu growled, but even as he fought, a fragment of his flesh slid unseen across the battlefield, slithering behind Luya.
The young Saiyan raised his palm, energy swirling, condensing into a killing blow. "Time to end this."
Buu smirked despite his pain. "Gotenks is still inside me… do you dare destroy us both?"
Luya's grin was cold. "So what?"
Piccolo's breath caught. "Wait… he'll eliminate them both?!"
Buu's smile stretched wider. Suddenly, Luya's instincts screamed.wrong!
"Luya, behind you!" Piccolo's voice cracked with panic.
Luya spun too late. A pink membrane wrapped around him, sealing tight like a cocoon.
"What?!" He struggled, golden aura blazing, but the flesh bag constricted tighter.
Buu laughed, triumphant. "Heh heh heh… success! Your power is mine now!"
The cocoon shot back toward him. In one gulp, Buu swallowed it whole.
"NO!!!" Piccolo shouted, despair breaking his voice.
On the Kaiōshin Realm, Goku and Gohan felt the shift instantly.
"Damn it!" Goku slammed his fist into the ground. "He's been absorbed!"
Old Kai's face was grim. "This is bad. If Majin Buu truly takes in that warrior's power…"
"Hateful…!" Goku seethed, powerless.
…
"Hahaha!!!" Buu howled, energy storming out of his body. He spun and danced with twisted joy, his laughter rumbling like thunder.
Piccolo crouched in the shadows, face pale. "It's over… there's no one left. The Earth is doomed."
Above, Buu fired energy blasts in every direction, turning the landscape into burning wasteland. Mountains crumbled, forests incinerated, oceans boiled. He reveled in destruction.
Then suddenly.he stopped.
Piccolo blinked. "…?"
Buu stared at his own hands, frowning. His grin faltered. His aura roared outward, but as he probed it, confusion spread across his face.
"Why…? Where is it?"
He growled louder, but no matter how he tried to summon it his ki was only his own, plus Gotenks'. Luya's energy was nowhere to be found.
"What… what's going on?!"
Majin Buu's expression twisted, equal parts fury and fear. He had absorbed the boy but had gained nothing.
