c124: The Unbeatable Majin Buu! Danger! Gotenks is Absorbed
Luya's aura erupted, golden light surging as he ascended straight into Super Saiyan form. He knew at once that his normal state wasn't enough against Majin Buu, only overwhelming power mattered.
But even with this transformation, there was a problem: unless he destroyed Buu completely, the monster's body would simply regenerate. Any wound inflicted, no matter how brutal, would seal itself shut within seconds.
Piccolo's eyes widened in disbelief. "He… he's a Super Saiyan?!" The presence of Luya's golden hair and burning aura was undeniable. Another Saiyan existed, hidden until now.
On the Kaiōshin Realm, Goku and the others froze as well. Goku clenched his fists, stunned. "No way… another Saiyan showed up on Earth?!" Even the Old Kai looked intrigued.
Back on the battlefield, Luya shot forward like lightning.
Whoosh!
In a blur, his fist slammed into Majin Buu's stomach.
"Gyaaah!!" The pink demon howled, eyes bulging from the shock.
"So fast!" Piccolo gasped, unable to follow the movement.
Without pausing, Luya flipped his hand into a palm strike, blasting an energy bomb that tore clean through Buu's torso. The monster's body split open, leaving a gaping hole.
But with a grotesque squirm, Buu stabilized himself, grinning wickedly as the wound sealed. In his palms, crimson energy gathered blazing beams launched forward like Vegeta's signature Final Flash.
Luya twisted his body, dodging fluidly, then countered with his own cannon shot, detonating the blast midair in a blinding explosion.
"Ha!" Luya pressed his attack, blitzing forward in a whirlwind of punches and kicks. His blows hammered Buu without mercy, forcing the monster back. One final strike smashed Buu into the ground, leaving a massive crater.
Luya didn't hesitate, launching another energy bomb after him. The explosion shook the mountains, fire and smoke billowing upward.
But when the dust cleared Buu stood tall, body intact, his grin never fading.
"Tch. Figures," Luya muttered.
Suddenly, Buu's tentacle whipped forward, glowing ominously. A bolt of pink light shot from it, aimed straight at Luya's chest.
"Damn… that's his Transfiguration Beam!" Luya dodged instantly, knowing full well that a direct hit would turn him into candy.
Buu cackled, firing beam after beam, forcing Luya to weave through the onslaught. Explosions rocked the sky as Luya countered with multiple blasts, canceling out Buu's magic.
Then, with a scream, Luya charged. His palms cupped together, a sphere of blue light growing between them.
"Kame… hame… haaa!!!"
At point-blank range, he unleashed it. The Turtle School's signature technique roared forward, engulfing Buu in a sea of light.
"GRAAAAH!!!" Buu screamed as his body melted, his pink flesh liquefying like wax in fire. His face warped, his body slumping into a grotesque puddle.
"Still not enough," Luya whispered, sweat beading his forehead. Even Goku needed Spirit Bomb to finish this monster… Super Saiyan strength alone won't do it.
Buu's body reformed with a roar, though his ki flickered weaker. The attack had hurt him, but he wasn't finished. His eyes darted to the side, glinting darkly.
Luya noticed. He followed Buu's gaze straight toward Gotenks.
He's going for absorption.
Luya's aura flared in warning. "Don't even think about it!"
But unbeknownst to him, a tiny fragment of Buu's flesh had already slithered away during the fight, creeping toward the young fusion.
"You're not escaping me," Luya growled, tightening his stance.
Buu's energy spiked violently. He launched himself at Luya again, fists colliding with devastating power. The shockwaves made even Piccolo tremble.
Piccolo's heart pounded. "He's fighting Majin Buu evenly… with just Super Saiyan power. This guy's strength… it's even greater than Goku's Super Saiyan 3!"
In the chaos, Luya roared and powered up further electric sparks crackling around him. His aura expanded explosively. Super Saiyan 2.
"RAAAAHHH!!!" His Kamehameha surged, overpowering Buu's massive energy bomb and detonating it in his face.
The blast ripped Buu apart, his body shredded into pieces, aura flickering weakly.
"Not dead, huh?" Luya clenched his fist. "Stubborn like a cockroach."
Meanwhile, Trunks grabbed Goten. "Now! Let's fuse again!"
"Right!" The two boys performed their ridiculous dance once more, their fingers meeting light burst outward as they fused.
Gotenks returned.
"Alright! This time we'll finish him off!" Gotenks smirked arrogantly.
Piccolo groaned. "These kids…"
But then disaster struck.
From behind, the fragment of flesh that had been lurking suddenly leapt, wrapping around Gotenks' body like a predator's trap.
"Wha?! What is this?!" Gotenks screamed, thrashing violently.
"NO!!" Piccolo shouted, too late.
The pink mass engulfed him completely, compressing tight. In a flash, it shot back toward Majin Buu, merging seamlessly into his body.
Buu's form shuddered, then straightened. His aura flared wildly, far stronger than before. His face twisted into a cruel smile.
"Damn it…" Luya's eyes narrowed, expression grim. "He absorbed him."
The battlefield fell silent, dread creeping over everyone.
Majin Buu's power had ascended again this time with Gotenks' strength added to his own.
