I settle down in the massive living room, preparing to watch a TV show. I slump on one of the couches, grabbing the remote.
Bored, I flip through the channels one by one till it finally tunes in to Disney Junior.
"Ouu, he has this channel?" A soft giggle escapes my lips.
Luckily for me, it's airing one of my favorite shows, Sofia the First.
As I am busy enjoying myself, Lucien storms into the room, startling me.
"Who the fuck is Kai?"
My jaw drops as I look at him, wide eyed.
"Did you not hear me? I asked you who Kai was," he stops right in front of me, blocking my view.
"H– how did you know who Kai is?"
"That was not the question."
"He is..the Fae prince."
He grimaces at my response, "So, what were you doing with him in that cafe? He asked you out on a date?"
I finally stand up, "It wasn't a date. It was just coincidence."
