The capital city rose like a titan from the earth, its towering walls a testament to the power and grandeur of the ancient empire. The walls, crafted from massive blocks of a mysterious black stone that Adrian and Marcus had never seen before, stretched approximately fifty meters high into the air. The dark, almost glossy surface of the stone seemed to absorb the sunlight, giving the walls an imposing and intimidating presence.

The city's gates, a marvel of engineering and craftsmanship, stood even taller, soaring to an impressive seventy to eighty meters high, dominating the landscape and commanding respect from all who approached.

The gates themselves were massive, made of thick, heavy wood reinforced with iron bands and rivets. They were adorned with intricate carvings of dragons, phoenixes, and other mythical creatures, their surfaces polished to a shine by the countless hands that had touched them over the years.

Two imposing stone statues, depicting mighty warriors with stern expressions and outstretched arms, flanked the gates. The statues seemed to guard the city, their eyes watchful and alert, as if daring any who would seek to enter to prove their worth.

As Adrian and Marcus approached the gates, they felt a sense of awe wash over them. The city's grandeur was palpable, and they couldn't help but feel small in comparison to the mighty structures that loomed before them. The gates creaked open, inviting them to enter and discover the secrets that lay within the city's ancient heart.Adrian and Marcus stood outside the city gate, surrounded by a throng of young men and women, all heading to the capital city to take the Awakening Test. The air was filled with the sound of chatter and the creaking of carriages, pulled by majestic magical beasts. The beasts, with their shimmering scales and piercing eyes, added to the sense of excitement and anticipation.

The crowd was a sea of faces, all eager to enter the city and take the test. Adrian and Marcus walked alongside the carriages, their eyes wide with wonder as they took in the sights and sounds of the bustling crowd.

The city's imposing walls and towering gates loomed above them, the mysterious black stone seeming to absorb the sunlight and casting a sense of awe over the crowd. The gates themselves were massive, standing at an impressive seventy to eighty meters high, dominating the landscape and commanding respect from all who approached.

As they waited to enter the city, Adrian and Marcus couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. The Awakening Test was a momentous occasion, and they were eager to see what lay ahead. As the crowd parted, a majestic blazing red wolf emerged, pulling a procession of red carriages into the city. The wolf's fur seemed to shimmer with an inner fire, and its eyes burned with a fierce intensity. The carriages, adorned with golden accents and crimson banners, bore the emblem of the Heavenly Fire Clan.

A murmur ran through the crowd as someone nearby whispered, "Look, it's the Heavenly Fire Clan! It's said that their flames are very strong and feared by many." The tone was one of reverence and awe, with a hint of wariness.

Adrian and Marcus watched in amazement as the procession made its way towards the city gate. The Heavenly Fire Clan's reputation preceded them, and the brothers couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity about the clan's intentions and the strength of their flames.

The crowd's reaction was a mix of admiration and caution, with many eyes fixed on the procession as it made its way into the city. The air was filled with whispers and speculation about the Heavenly Fire Clan's presence at the Awakening Test. The procession of red carriages, led by the majestic blazing red wolf, bore the emblem of the Heavenly Golden Flame Clan, also known as the Bowen Clan. The surname Bowen was synonymous with powerful flames, and the clan's reputation for wielding golden flames that were both fierce and revered preceded them.

As the crowd whispered the clan's name, Adrian and Marcus caught the tone of respect and awe. The Heavenly Golden Flame Clan's presence at the Awakening Test was a notable event, and many were eager to see how their young members would fare in the trials ahead.

The Bowen Clan's carriages came to a stop before the city gates, and the red wolf, seeming to sense the attention, let out a fiery roar, as if proclaiming the clan's arrival. The crowd parted further, allowing the Heavenly Golden Flame Clan to enter the city, their golden flames burning bright in the anticipation of the test to come. Not even five breaths of time passed after the Heavenly Golden Flame Clan's arrival, when another carriage, this one blue and pulled by a majestic snow wolf, appeared. The wolf's fur seemed to shimmer with a frosty aura, and blue forces and flaws emanated from its body, giving it an ethereal appearance.

A voice nearby whispered, "Look, it's the Ice Feng Clan! I heard they're bringing their youngest geniuses, including Fairy June, to take the test this year." The tone was one of curiosity and interest, with many eyes turning to the blue carriages as they came to a stop before the city gates.

Adrian and Marcus watched as the Ice Feng Clan's carriages were ushered towards the city entrance, the snow wolf's frosty aura seeming to cool the air around it.

The Everett Clan, known for their strong affinity to the ice and water elements, earned the nickname "Ice Feng Clan", a testament to their remarkable abilities and heritage.

It is said that Fairy June Everett's beauty can make nations go to war. Whispers in the crowd spoke of her unparalleled elegance and charm, painting a picture of a lady whose beauty was as captivating as it was formidable.

A young man nearby sighed, "If I can have such a beautiful lady by my side, I would die with no regrets." Others nodded in agreement, speaking of the seven other great clans, each boasting ladies of similar beauty and allure, their charms rumored to be on par with Fairy June's own captivating presence.

The atmosphere suddenly shifted, and the environment darkened as if the light itself was being absorbed by an unseen force. Not even seconds later, a shadow wolf emerged, its body shrouded in a dark aura that seemed to ripple and distort the air around it. The wolf pulled a procession of black carriages, their dark exteriors seeming to blend seamlessly into the shadows.

A hushed murmur ran through the crowd as they beheld the shadow wolf and its accompanying carriages, their arrival casting a palpable sense of foreboding over the gathering. The air seemed to grow heavier, weighed down by an unspoken sense of mystery and unease.
