Steve Rogers, Peitro, and Wanda enter Advengers Tower, as Tony, and Banner work. "I'm gonna say this once." Steve says. Tony replies mokingly "How about "nonce"?" Steve says angerly "Shut it down!" Tony replies "Nope. Not gonna happen." Steve says carefully, trying to stop this "You don't know what you're doing." "And you do? She's not in your head?" Banner replies. Wanda replies to banner "I know you're angry." Banner replies dryly "Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade." Steve says "Banner, after everything that's happened--" Tony replies "That's nothing compared to what's coming!" The coversation turns cayotic "You don't know what's in there!" Wanda says. Steve says "This isn't a game--" Wanda says, overlaping "The creature--" As then... *zip* as quick silver unplugs everything. Pietro says "No, no. Go on. You were saying?" As then... *crash* as the glass breaks, and Peitro falls thru it. "What? You didn't see that coming?" Clint says mockingly to Pietro. As Tony says "I'm rerouting the upload." Cap throws his sheid, as Iron Mans armor arrives, and he knocks cap aaway. Banner moves, and wraps his arms around Wanda "Go ahead, piss me off." Clint aims his gun, as he steps up. As cap, and iron man fight. Wanda knocks off Bruce with red energy. As thor suddenly arrives. Jumps on top of the cradle, and then *BANG*, lighting funnels into it, as it overcharges with power.
Then... the cradle suddenly explodes, launching everyone away. As a red-blue man, with a yellow glowing crystal on his head floats out. Landing on the rim, calm. As mist covers him. The floating man suddenly accelerates forword, before thor throws him over his sholder, as he breaks thru glass. Until... he stops. Unmoving in front of the window of the tower. Cap jumps forword, as its quite. Thor holds out his hand, as he tells them to stop. Thor puts down his hammer. As everyone surrounds the being. Karlen watches from the wall, shivering, unsure at that power from that stone. It seems to almost fill the room. The being speaks "I'm sorry, that was...odd." As it turns... to thor. "Thank you." Cap asks confused "Thor, you helped create this?" Thor replies " I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its center is that." As he points at the glowing stone in things head. Banner asks "What, the gem?" Thor replies, explaining " It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities." Steve asks confused "Then why would you bring it to..." Thor cuts him off "Because Stark is right." Bruce says nervously "Oh, it's definitely the end times." Thor says "The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron." "Not alone." The thing replies.
As it walks forward "Why does your "vision" sound like JARVIS?" Tony replies "We... reconfigured JARVIS' matrix to create something new." Steve replies "I think I've had my fill of new." Vision replies "You think I'm a child of Ultron?" "You're not?" Steve asks with suspison. "I'm not Ultron. I'm not JARVIS. I am... I am." "I looked in your head and saw annihilation." Wanda says. Vision replies calmly "Look again." "Yeah. Her seal of approval means jack to me." Barton says. As Thor tries to explain "Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone, and they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side..." "Is it? Are you? On our side?" Steve questions. Ultron... eventually replies "I don't think it's that simple." "Well it better get real simple real soon." Barton replies. After a pause, Ultron explains "I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't, he will end it all" "What's he waiting for?" The captain asks. Ultron says "You." "Where?" Bruce asks. Hawkeye replies "Sokovia. He's got Nat there too." "If we're wrong about you, if you're the monster that Ultron made you to be..."
Vision asks "What will you do?" As he looks at them all calmly. "I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the earth, so he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go." Vision finishes, as he grabs thors hammer, and hands it over to thor. As everyone stares in utter shock. A stunned quite fills the room. Vison, as he walks away says "You too Karlen. Watching this entire time." They look around confused. Thor slowly recovers, and smiles. "Right." As he walks over to stark, puts a hand on his sholder, and says "Well done." As he walks off. Banner says "Is... anyone going to mention the fact that Karlen was apparently watching us." Steve shakes his head "Must be reporting what we do to Mr. Fox. Don't worry about it, Three minutes. Get what you need." Karlen watches... feeling... unsettled by that energy covering the surroundings, that subtle pressure from that stone.
Tony works on loading the quinjet, as he speaks to Steve. "No way we all get through this. If even one tin soldier is left standing, we've lost. It's gonna be blood on the floor." Steve replies "I got no plans tomorrow night." Tony replies "I get first crack at the big guy. Iron Man's the one he's waiting for." As Vision walks by, and says "That's true, he hates you the most." Soon, they sit in the quinjet, as it flies. "Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right." Karlen watches Steves speach from within, as Vision turns to him from the seat, he shivers. Vison says "Karlen, may i ask Mr. Foxes goals with you being here." He is quite. "He simply wants a live handle on the situation, cosnidering if earth dies, he does. Don't tell... uh, the others. But he is prepairing... for battle." Vision thins his eyes, and nods. No one hears Karlens words. As thor looks around confused, as he sighs. "Karlen is still here, i just sensed him." Vision says "Correct." With no further words. Hawkeye chuckles "If Ally's lover wants to watch us fight, so be it."
