Mr. Fox stands on a hill. As the normally bright green animated grass is abnormally dark. Fading back to black and white. As Mr. Fox sits. Ahead of him are his top generals. Generals he used... last time he went to war, last time he had to wage it. He frowns. He hates this. As he asks "Preparations?" One nods "We have the newly designed holding centers ready for civilian transport if need be, along with the various intervention teams at the ready." Mr. Fox says "They are unlikely to be needed in this war, lower resource priority down 60%." The womanly shadow fox nods. As the other asks "Sir, what is the plan against... this... Ultron? This is not like your last preparations for that nation that betrayed you?" He smiles "Well... let me explain." Elsewhere, the Captain runs in the cordors of U-Gin Genetic Research Lab. As he sees the dead bodies, and eventually Dr. Helen Cho. As she says "He's uploading himself into the body." Steve asks "Where?" She says "The real power is inside the Cradle. The gem, its power is uncontainable. You can't just blow it up. You have to get the Cradle to Stark." Steve says "First I have to find it." She says "Go." As the captain asks his comms "Did you guys copy that?"
Clint flies in the quinjet, hovering over the city, as he replies "We did" Natasha, on a computer says "I got a private jet taking off, across town, no manifest. That could be him." Clint watches, as he notices a truck heading across a bridge, a truck from the lab. He says "There. It's a truck from the lab. Right above you, Cap. On the loop by the bridge. It's them. I got three with the Cradle, one in the cab. I could take out the driver." Cap says, as he climbs a ladder onto the freeway "Negative! If that truck crashes, the gem could level the city. We need to draw out Ultron." As Cap jumps onto the roof of the truck, he slowly climbs to the doors, before a lazer blows a door off its hindges, as he rides of it, draging behind the truck "Well, he's definitely unhappy! I'm gonna try and keep him that way." Clint says over comms "You're not a match for him, Cap." Cap replies "Thanks Barton." As Ultron steps forword, and uses a blue magentic pulse to push cap off onto another car. As Cap grips onto another truck, and launches onto Ultrons truck once more. "You know what's in that Cradle?" Ultron says, as he flies. Then fires a laser at cap, a cap bounces it off his shield. "The power to make real change, and that terrifies you." Cap says "I wouldn't call it a comfort." As cap tries to keep up with ultron, fighting on the roof of the car.
Barton flies close to the ground, as he drops off a motercycle with natasha on top. She drives precisely thru the crouds, as she drives to intercept the truck. Just as cap is getting cornered in his loosing hand-to-hand agenst ultron, natasha throws him his shield. As Cap escapes Ultron's choke hold. Ultron with the magentic pulse, lifts up some of the road, forcing Natasha to stop. As she drives to catch back up, Cap is thrown off the truck once more. As cap flings himself with a crashed car back onto the truck, Clint approtches with the quinjet, and fires machine guns at the guards in the truck, as the fly, targeting him. Cap eventually forces ultrons hand, as Ultron, and cap fall off the truck into a moving train. As the drones move to return. Natasha approtches the truck once more "I'm going in. Cap, can you keep him occupied?" Cap says exsausted from hand to hand, and blocking lazers in the train "What do you think I've been doing?"
As she enters the truck, the drones fly under the truck, as it approches a wall of police. Then... suddenly, the truck flies with natasha inside. "The package is airborne. I have a clean shot." Clint says. Natasha replies over comms "Negative. I am still in the truck." Clint replies confused "What the hell are you?-" "Just be ready, I'm sending the package to you." Natasha replies. "...How do you want me to take it?" Clint replies. Natasha says "Uhh, you might wish you hadn't asked that." Meanwhile on the train, as Cap takes a beatdown from Ultron, suddenly Pietro shows up, speeds by punching Ultron, as Wanda shows up on the other side of ultron, as metal is moved by red kinetic power. Ultron mornfully says "Please. Don't do this." Wanda replies "What choice do we have?" Ultron moves, and shoots at Pietro, missing, as it destroys the drivers controls, as he flies out of the train. Steve reports "I lost him! He's headed your way!" Clint says on comms "Nat, we gotta go!"
As the train flies down the tracks, Natasha cuts the line in the flying truck, as the Cradle flies thru the air with Nat on top, before Ultron flies by, grabs her leg, and pulls her off the cradle. "Nat! Cap, you see Nat?" Clint asks. "If you have the package, get it to Stark! Go!" Cap responds. Clint grits his teeth "Do you have eyes on Nat?" Cap orders once more "Go!" As Clint grits his teeth, and flies off in the quinjet. Cap turns to Pietro, and orders "Civilians in our path." As Pietro nods, and runs out. Moving civlians out of the way of the train, as it speeds no longer on tracks with raw inerta. Cap turns to Wanda "Can you stop this thing?" She nods, and moves to the fround, as red energy moves, covering the wheels, and bottom. Attempting to stop it. Until... eventually. It stops. Wanda runs over to a worn out Pietro "I'm fine. I just need to take a minute." Cap says "I'm very tempted not to give you one." Wanda asks "The Cradle, did you get it?" Cap replies "Stark will take care of it." Wanda replies with... a quite "No, he won't..." Cap replies "You don't know what you're talking about, Stark's not crazy." Wanda replies "He will do anything to make things right." Cap calls on comms "Stark, come in. Stark. Anyone on comms?" His comms are out. Wanda says "Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?"
Meanwhile, elsewhere. Stark, Banner, and Hawkeye stand around the cradle. Bruce asks "Anything on Nat?" As stark replies "Haven't heard. But she's alive, or Ultron'd be rubbing our faces in it." Clint looks at the cradle, saying "This is sealed tight." As Banner replies "We're going to need to access the program, break it down from within." Stark is quite. Then turns to Clint "Hm. Any chance Natasha might leave you a message, outside the internet, old school spy stuff?" Clint thinks, and says "There's some nets I can cast. Yeah, alright. I'll find her." As Barton leaves. Stark turns to Banner. "I can work on tissue degeneration, if you can fry whatever operational system Cho implanted." Stark says "Yeah, about that." Banner looks at stark... "No." Stark says "You have to trust me." "Kinda Don't" Banner replies without hesitation. "Our ally? The guy protecting the military's nuclear codes? I found him." As Jarvis's AI projects into the room. "Hello, Dr. Banner." JARVIS says. "Ultron didn't go after JARVIS cause he was angry. He attacked him because he was scared of what he can do. So JARVIS went underground. Okay? Scattered, dumped his memory. But not his protocols. He didn't even know he was in there, until I pieced him together." Stark explains.
Bruce scoffs, saying "So... you want me... to help you... put JARVIS into this thing?" "No! of course not! I want to help you put JARVIS in this thing." Banner shakes his head. Tony explains further "We're out of my field here. You know bio-organics better than anyone." Bruce responds "And you just assume that JARVIS' operational matrix can beat Ultron's?" Tony argues "JARVIS has been beating him from inside without knowing it. This is the opportunity, we can create Ultron's perfect self, without the homicidal glitches he thinks are his winning personality. We have to." JARVIS replies "I believe it's worth a go." "I am in a loop!" Banner exclames. "I am caught in a time loop, this is exactly where it all went wrong." Tony walks up, calmly, as he attempts to calm "I know, I know. I know what everyone's going to say, but they're already saying it. We're mad scientists. We're monsters, buddy. You gotta own it. Make a stand." Banner shakes his head unsure. "It's not a loop. It's the end of the line." Tony reassures.
