Fenja was stunned, she didn't expect to be slapped by him. She held her burning cheek, while Rye and Nile tried to get to her, but there were two warriors, who held them down.
"What? Surprise?" Alpha Rize tilted his head. "Do you think I will not raise my hand against a woman? You are lucky he said you are the alpha's mate, or else an omega like you don't even deserve to be in my presence."
Arthur said nothing, his expression didn't show anything. He wanted this to be over soon, so he could deal with Jaxon.
"Let her go! What do you think you are doing?!" Rye fought the warrior, who held him back, but when he was about to shift into his beast, alpha Rize warned him.
"Shift and I will skin her alive in front of you, just like how your pathetic alpha killed my father."
Rye stopped his attempt to fight the warrior and grunted when he kicked the back of his knee, forcing him to kneel down.
