"Who is going to hurt you, Kyrill?" Now Fenja was scared. She didn't like ghosts. She hated them, even though somehow, she would watch horror movies from time to time.
And the way Kyrill spoke reminded her of one of those movies. Suddenly, Fenja became self-aware of her surroundings.
"Kyrill, who is she?" She whispered in a low voice, despite Kyrill's cry. "Don't cry; don't cry… Nobody is going to hurt you."
Yet, Kyrill ignored her words. He continued to wail pitifully, making it incredibly difficult for her to calm him down, especially since his hug felt as if it might crush her.
He had the personality of a ten-year-old boy but had the strength of an Alpha.
Only when the storm outside subsided and the wind was not as strong, as the sun started to appear, Kyrill fell asleep in Fenja's arms, turning half of her body numb.
She had no idea why Alpha Jaxon had taken her here and what his purpose was in visiting this house after five years.
