Synopsis
You think this is just another love story with a villain twist? Oh, darling... no. This is the kind of pain that doesn’t heal, even when the legend ends." There once was a legend. A woman who commanded the battlefield like a storm. Feared. Worshipped. Unstoppable. Her enemy? The Demon King—ruthless, cold, and sworn to destroy her. But legends lie. And the truth? The truth was buried with her. 100 years later, I wake up. No memories. Just a scar on my neck… and a feeling in my bones that I was never meant to be ordinary. They told me it was trauma. That I was injured, that's why I have a big scar on my neck But then I saw.... him on the street. The boy with the eyes of a war I couldn’t name. I knew him... I think He didn’t know me. But my past did. And it came for me. Because the monster I’m running from… isn’t just someone. It’s me. And the deeper I go, the more I realize: Some legends are not meant to return. But I already have. I must fight against my own past—the monster I once was. And my past is waiting. Cover Visuals edited by me — base images originally from Freepik.com.

Chapter 1 - The beginning

In a kingdom where stories were told like lullabies, passed down through generations, one tale still lived in whispers. It wasn't about kings, dragons, or shining heroes. It was about her.About Lianhua – the warrior with a name that made even demons hold their breath.

No one knew how old she was. Some said she was immortal. Others believed she was a girl who had seen too much and became something more. What everyone knew for sure was this:She was unstoppable. A sword in her hand meant justice. A glare in her eyes meant vengeance. She fought for the voiceless. The forgotten. The poor.

And while many admired her, there was one who burned with hatred. The Demon King.He swore to destroy her. Not because she was evil—but because she dared to shine in a world made of shadows.

But then… one day… both of them disappeared. No one knows what happened. No bodies. No weapons. No graves. No goodbye.Just gone.As if the wind took them and buried the truth with silence.

Some say they died.Others believe they simply walked away. But even now, a hundred years later, the air still carries their names. And the story…isn't over.

Me?I'm no legend.I'm just Eloula.Nineteen years old. And honestly? Kind of lost.

I don't remember anything from the first seventeen years of my life.Doctors told me I had a serious fall. Cracked my head, damaged my memory. My neck was injured too, left a deep scar. I guess it suits me. A scar for a girl who doesn't even know where she came from.

I live in the Imperial Palace. My adoptive father works for the emperor, so we were given a place inside the palace walls. Not exactly royalty, but not commoners either.Still… we've never seen the emperor. Not even once. He's just a name in the wind.

My stepmother is kind. My father is… distant. And then there's Liora, my stepsister.Twenty-one. Blonde hair, green eyes, picture-perfect beauty, always knowing what to say.Me? Black hair down to my hands. Dark brown eyes. Always asking questions no one wants to answer. We're nothing alike. But somehow… connected. In ways that scare me.

That morning changed everything.

"ELOULA! GET UP!"

I groaned. Still half-asleep.The sunlight punched through the curtains as Liora stomped in, full of drama as usual.

"What is it now…?" I muttered.

"Father has a huge meeting today. You need to look… presentable."She was already brushing my hair aggressively.

"Wow, good morning to you too," I said, rolling my eyes.

She ignored me and handed me a soft purple dress with golden embroidery."Don't mess this up," she added. "No sarcastic comments. Just be quiet and smile."

"Sure, sure," I said, barely listening.

The meeting room was filled with strangers.Men in long robes, expensive jewelry, judging eyes.My father stood tall. Serious.

"This is Liora, my eldest. And Eloula, the younger one."

They looked at me like I didn't belong. Maybe I didn't.I forced a smile, sat beside Liora, and tried not to fall asleep.

They talked. And talked.Trade. Taxes. The emperor. Boring politics.

And then—One of them looked directly at me and said:

"You don't look like your sister. Or your parents. Clearly adopted."

The silence hit harder than the words.

I stood up. Slowly. Calmly.

"And you don't look like someone with basic manners. Yet here you are. Speaking."

Boom.The man blinked, stunned.

Liora gasped. "Eloula, stop!"

I just shook my head. "I'm done here."

And with that, I walked out.No apologies. No second thoughts.

The air outside the palace was cooler.Freer.I changed into something simple and wandered off into the village.

People were everywhere. Laughing, shouting, bargaining. Life was happening—and for a second, I felt like I belonged.

But my mind… wouldn't stop. Was I really just a girl with no past?Or was there something more?

I walked past a weapon stand. Blades lined up, glowing in the sun.A man stood behind them, arms crossed.

"You like swords?" he asked, raising an eyebrow."These aren't for decoration. Not for soft hands."

I smirked."Who said I was soft?"

He said nothing.And then—

"LET ME GO, YOU DISGUSTING MAN!"

I froze.

That voice—Liora?!

I turned. And there she was.On the ground. Struggling. Screaming.A man hovered over her, gripping her wrist hard. Too hard.

My heart stopped. No guards. No help. Just me.And a voice in my head.It didn't sound like mine.

Attack now.
