Jaxon crouched down and stared at her blood, which flowed from the wounds caused by the sharp shards of broken glass.
Ignoring the fact that Fenja had not yet healed like a normal shifter, there was this vicious smirk on the corner of his lips. He liked the color and the smell of it.
"Here. Drink this and you can go." Jaxon stretched out the glass to her, but Fenja couldn't take it; she couldn't even lift a finger.
There was a burning sensation centered in her heart.
Fenja squeezed her eyes tightly shut, and she heard Jack come and approach them. He asked what happened and then squatted down close to her.
"What happened here, Alpha?" Jack was shocked to see Fenja was bleeding.
"Stop overreacting," Jaxon said begrudgingly. He stood up and drank the wine himself. "Those are only small cuts; she will heal in no time."
