A quiet pool of crystalline water sat at the center of the battlefield, its surface rippling faintly. The referee raised his hand. Glaceon immedaitely set up her freeze heal-hide strategy, setting hail and using her ability snow cloak to hide and ice body to heal.
Referee:"Battle between Kingdra and Glaceon — begin!"
Cissy"Kingdra, Twister!"
Kingdra spun rapidly, summoning a swirling vortex of wind and water. The twister tore across the cavern floor, kicking up jagged shards of ice.
Regina:"Glaceon, Quick Attack—circle around it!"
Glaceon became a blur of white and blue, darting around the twister and sliding over like she was skating in the ice. She moved with dancer-like grace, closing the distance before launching a hail of ice chunks from a sudden Ice Shard.
They pelted Kingdra hard, breaking his focus.
Cissy:"Hydro Pump!"
Kingdra fired a roaring torrent of water.
Regina:"Mirror Coat!"
Glaceon stood firm—his body flashed with reflective energy.
The Hydro Pump slammed into him… and rebounded with even greater force.
The blast hurled Kingdra backward, crashing him into the cavern wall. Water sprayed everywhere, freezing instantly into glittering frost.
Kingdra shook it off, clearly hurt.
Cissy:"Kingdra, smoke the field—Smokescreen!"
A thick black cloud poured from Kingdra's snout, filling the cavern and masking everything.
Regina:"Glaceon, don't lose your cool… Ice Beam, sweep the area!"
Glaceon lowered herself and unleashed a brilliant blue beam, sweeping it left to right. Ice tiled across the smoke-filled arena, crystallizing the mist and revealing Kingdra's silhouette.
Cissy:"Dragon Pulse!"
A blast of shimmering draconic energy shot toward Glaceon.
Regina:"Evade and Shadow Ball!"
Glaceon leapt sideways, the Dragon Pulse smashing into the ice behind her. While airborne, she summoned a swirling shadow sphere and fired it straight into Kingdra's chest.
He reeled, spinning before catching himself.
Both Pokémon panted—this battle was turning fierce fast.
Cissy:"Kingdra—Rain Dance!"
Dark clouds formed inside the cavern, rain pattering heavily. Kingdra glowed, speed and power rising.
The Regina's eyes sharpened.
Regina:"Then we end this before it matters—Glaceon, Blizzard!"
Glaceon howled.
Wind exploded from her body, freezing rain midair. Sheets of razor-sharp ice, snow, and frozen droplets swirled violently toward Kingdra.
Kingdra attempted to counter—
Cissy:"Hydro Pump!"
—but the water froze instantly in the Blizzard, turning into icicles that smashed back into him.
Kingdra roared as the storm swallowed him whole.
When the Blizzard faded, Kingdra collapsed into the pool, defeated.
Referee:"Kingdra is unable to battle! Glaceon wins!"
Glaceon stood tall amid the frost-covered battlefield, icy mist swirling around his fur.
"This match is not over. Go blastoise." Cissy said determined.
"Return Glaceon, good job, go Alakazam."

Referee:"Battle between the Gym leader's Blastoise and the challenger's Alakazam—begin!"
Both of us raised our key stones.
Cissy:"Mega Evolve!"
Regina:"Transcend the mind—Mega Evolve!"
Two blinding lights filled the arena.
When they faded—
Mega Blastoise stood towering, central cannon expanded, steam rising.
Mega Alakazam hovered above the ground, four additional spoons levitating behind him, psychic aura shimmering like heat waves.
The battlefield trembled with combined energy.
Cissy:"Mega Blastoise—Flash Cannon!"
The main cannon glowed white before firing a beam of metallic energy.
Regina:"Teleport."
Mega Alakazam vanished in a blink. The Flash Cannon ripped across the field, hitting only air.
Alakazam reappeared above Blastoise.
Regina:"Psychic!"
A blast of invisible force slammed Blastoise to one knee.
Cissy:"Hydro Pump—straight up!"
Blastoise fired a spiraling geyser upward.
Alakazam teleported again—but not fast enough.
The water clipped him, sending him spinning midair.
Regina muttered "Its fast."
Alakazam regained balance.
Regina:"Use Psyshock!"
Dozens of psychic blasts materialized, raining toward Blastoise like bullets.
Cissy:"Rapid Spin!"
Blastoise withdrew and spun violently, deflecting incoming Psyshock projectiles like a heavy armored top. The ground cracked from the force.
As he emerged—
Cissy:"Aqua Jet—closing distance!"
Blastoise shot forward like a water-coated missile.
Regina:"Calm Mind!"
Alakazam' aura swelled, boosting his power and focus—but leaving him vulnerable.
Blastoise struck, sending Alakazam skidding backward in midair.
But Mega Alakazam did not fall—he floated back upright, eyes glowing with intense psychic power.
Regina:"Alakazam… let's go all out. Focus Blast!"
A massive sphere of fighting energy formed between Alakazam's hands.
Cissy:"Mega Blastoise, Dark Pulse!"
Dark energy erupted from Blastoise's cannons.
The two attacks collided mid-field—
BOOM—!
A shockwave shook the gym, dust flying everywhere.
Blastoise was pushed back but held his ground.
Alakazam winced, spoon-circle trembling—but he wasn't done.
Regina:"Now—use your full mind! Future Sight!"
The cavern echoed with a psychic pulse as destiny itself warped.
An invisible attack set itself in motion.
Blastoise aimed again.
Cissy:"Finish him—Hydro Cannon!"
The massive cannon charged—glowing bright blue—
But at that instant—
Regina:"Teleport, and strike from above—Psychic!"
Alakazam vanished from Blastoise's aim and reappeared directly overhead, unleashing a crushing psychic blast.
Blastoise staggered—
And then—
The Future Sight attack slammed down like a falling star.
A double psychic explosion engulfed Mega Blastoise.
When the smoke cleared—
Blastoise collapsed, cannons dim.
Referee:"Mega Blastoise is unable to battle! Mega Alakazam wins!"
Mega Alakazam descended gracefully, aura fading into calm stillness as he reverted to normal. Good job Alakazam.
Alakazam just nodded at that. Though I could see him hiding a smile.
"Good job miss Regina. As a reward here is your gym badge." Cissy handed me. It was beautiful really. Even more than how the anime depicted.
"Thank you gym leader Cissy. It was a wonderful battle." I said with a smile.
