Hades, leaning against a console with the grace of a bored panther, didn't even look up from what he considered a more important affair, brushing strands of Sunshine's hair back. "Don't start celebrating yet, Sheldon," he drawled, his voice dripping with cynical honey. He finally lifted his gaze, meeting Sheldon's instantly fallen face. "She'll be back. Emily doesn't seem like the 'forgive and forget' type. More the 'remember and retaliate' type."
Sheldon's celebratory dance deflated like a punctured balloon. "Oh," he squeaked. "Right. Back. Probably with… more troops. Or a tank. Do you think she has a tank?"
Lisha nodded vigorously, "She had drones. Babel was one of the most protected cities before the apocalypse. If she managed to get her hands on some heavy-duty weapons, then she will be back with them. On the upside, we have the impenetrable bubble, gates, high walls, exo suits and superhumans. If Emily wants a war, she is in for a heartbreaking loss."
