[ Dear diary
It's my first time writing a diary, my dad gifted me this diary because I got 98% in class 10th board exams, it's a cheap gift but I like it.
A few days ago i applied to the government scheme for the first top 100 student's across the country in which anyone who has scored above 90% in their board exams, college exams or entrance exams will get a scholarship of 10 lakh rupees, ofcourse it was only for poor students of government school's and colleges . I was so nervous when I was writing my details on the website but luckily i get selected YAY !!!
It was such a relief for me, I was worried about my higher education because of my family's financial condition but now I think I will be able to afford college fees in future.
I got a message from the government website that I have to go to a government building with my parents where they will give me a certificate, trophy and ofcourse my scholarship amount.
It will be an honour to get award from the chief minister ( C.M ) of Delhi and the location isn't too far because I live in Delhi but I don't get one thing why a government building is in a abandoned and under-construction area, anyways i will get my reward and I never imagined that my parents would be this happy when they hear that I am the first position topper from my school in 10th grade and i will receive trophy and scholarship from the C.M of Delhi
I can't wait to get my reward for all that hardwork in 10th grade

Zoya closed her diary and she hears a voice coming from another room and thinks
" It's 10:00pm right now mom and dad should be sleeping at this time, i think they are watching tv "
She goes in her parents room where her mom and dad are watching tv
- Mom what are you doing ?
Mom : oh! Zoya you didn't sleep yet ?
- no, i was writing my diary
Zoya sits on the bed starring at the tv
- Mom why are you watching news at this time ?
- didn't you heard about the missing cases of people in all over India especially Delhi
- I didn't
Dad : you should be careful while going to school a lot of kids around your age are getting kidnapped even elderly people are getting kidnapped these days
- ughhh.. even old man's are not safe from these kidnappings
- no-one is safe and you get some sleep remember we have to get there at 7:00pm to get your prize and trophy
- I know, goodnight mom and dad
Zoya went straight to her room and lies on her bed . When she was trying to sleep thoughts flooded her mind
- maybe I can buy a big house with this money, which will have a proper living room and kitchen.
- my current house is so small that it doesn't even have a living room and the kitchen is too small
- no, it's not enough to buy a house
- but I can afford a good engineering college with this money and i can get a job when I grow up. Even government colleges are too expensive these days but i don't have to worry about fees after getting the money i just need pass the entrance exam after 12th grade to get in government engineering college
After thinking about all these things she fell asleep.
