Jay's POV
It was Sunday morning. The soft sunlight flickered on my face, gently waking me up. I stretched lazily and reached for my phone beside my bed. Still half-asleep, I unlocked it—and immediately noticed a message.
It was from the King of Ulongs.
From: King of Ulongs
Jay, I want to meet you today. I will come to pick you up at 5 PM. Be ready.
A small smile formed on my lips as I quickly typed my reply.
To: King of Ulongs
Okay, I will be ready by 5.
I really wanted to meet him today. For so long I had been trying to talk to him about something important—making our relationship official. Every time I tried to bring it up, someone would interrupt us. It felt like fate itself was teasing me.
But today felt different.
I was excited—more excited than I had been in days.
I got out of bed, finished my daily routine, and took a refreshing bath. After getting dressed, I headed downstairs for breakfast, still thinking about the evening ahead.
Keifer's POV
When I saw Jay's message, I felt incredibly happy. I had missed her a lot, and the thought of seeing her today filled me with excitement.
I stood up immediately and went to Keigan's room. I gently shook him awake.
"Keigan, wake up. Get dressed and come downstairs for breakfast," I said.
After that, I walked to Keiren's room and tried to wake him as well.
He groaned and turned over in bed.
"Kuya, I'll wake up in five minutes. Please let me sleep for five minutes," he mumbled sleepily.
"Keiren, you have to wake up and come down for breakfast," I told him firmly. "It's not good to sleep so late. Get up and get dressed."
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.
"Get up, and I'll take you to the park," I added.
His sleepy expression immediately changed.
"Yay! Thanks, Kuya! I'll get dressed!"
I chuckled and went downstairs, waiting for both of my brothers so we could have breakfast together.
A few minutes later, they finally came down.
We sat together and had our breakfast, laughing and talking like we always did. Once we were done, I took both of them to the park, enjoying the peaceful Sunday morning with my brothers.
But in the back of my mind, I kept thinking about the evening.
Because later today, I would finally see Jay again.
