“Nothing, Your Highness.”
“Is something the matter? You suddenly sound quite distant.” Eckhart, being perceptive, sensed that something was troubling Bianca, which only deepened her sadness.
“I have something to tell you, Lady Bianca.” Suddenly, his expression turned serious.
‘Is he going to say that he no longer wants to see me?’
Bianca took a deep breath, bracing herself for the inevitable end of their relationship. She knew it was bound to happen, so she just wanted it to be over quickly. Although she doubted she would find another man as captivating as him, she thought she could settle for someone who was at least somewhat similar.
‘But there’s no one similar!’
Bianca tried to hold back her tears as she stared at the big muscles on his arm, but suddenly, she heard a loving voice in her ears.
“I have fallen in love with you.”
“What?”
