Zayne drove his Omni-Cycle with a strange mix of expectancy and excitement thrumming through his veins. Today had been long — one battle stacked on another, crisis after crisis — but also incredibly rewarding. The amount of XP and GP he had accumulated was probably astronomical by now. If the Omni grid had notifications turned on, he was sure his vision would've been blinded by constant pop-ups.
Still, even with all that progress, the day was filled with pure chaos.
"I wonder how the Dino Rangers are faring now…" he thought, a small crease appearing between his brows.
To calm his rising worry, he tapped the side of his Morpher. Immediately, a holographic screen projected outward in front of him — perfectly stable even as he sped down the road. The display shifted from pre-recorded footage to the present moment. Zayne still found himself amazed at the sheer versatility and power of this device. It clearly didn't rely on satellites; that much he was certain of. So, how exactly was it retrieving past moments? Was it tapping into the laws of time without telling him?
He shook the thought off.
"I'll slowly explore its mysteries later," he muttered, adjusting the holograph. "Let's check their situation now."
The projection zoomed in on the chaos he'd missed: Tommy's desperate advice… Kira's sudden disappearance into the Morphin Grid… then the present moment — three giants clashing in a violent display of power.
The Dino-Megazord.
The Drago-Megazord.
And a grotesquely overgrown Green Goblin.
Buildings were shattered to dust. Streets torn apart. Flames and rubble littered the city like decorations for the apocalypse. Not a single civilian was in sight — they were all underground or evacuated — except for two masked figures.
Gwen and Peter.
They were saving buried civilians with speed and strength far beyond their usual levels, pulling people from collapsed sections as goblin acid dripped dangerously close. The sight was awe-inspiring… but grim.
New York City was starting to look like the new Angel Grove.
But then, something else caught Zayne's attention.
"They're getting stronger in battle," he said in mild shock.
Yes, the Dino Rangers were progressing at a surprising rate. Still slow compared to him — the grid's chosen, a certified "cheater" — but fast by normal standards. It seemed that the more they fought using Morphin Energy, the faster their synergy improved. Constant exposure… constant strain… constant adaptation. This was pushing them to unlock deeper reserves and possibly new abilities.
The same was happening to the spider-heroes.
Gwen and Peter were effortlessly lifting debris that easily weighed hundreds of tons. Their Spider Totem energy seemed to be evolving too — slower than Morphin Energy but still significant.
Zayne kept watching as he maneuvered his Omni-Cycle through traffic-less streets, heading toward his destination.
He was proud. Truly proud.
But after a few minutes of analyzing the ongoing chaos, he realized something.
The Rangers weren't trying to win. They were stalling.
"They're buying time for Kira," he concluded. "They probably don't want to destroy their friend."
He sighed.
"Tsk. Their hesitation is causing more damage. This might lead to public outrage later…"
He shook his head. He wanted to help — needed to help — but he also knew the final blow shouldn't come from him.
"I should intervene a little," he decided. "But I'll leave the finishing strike to Kira. It'll boost morale for the team… and give them a good impression of me. Easier to recruit them later."
He smirked slightly at the thought.
After all, he had already given them enough push today. Their growth was obvious. Their teamwork refined. Their strength elevated. That was exactly the result he aimed for.
Zayne tightened his grip on the cycle handles and accelerated.
"After this last mission… I'll check the rewards together."
VROOOOM!!!
In the next moment, he vanished into a blur streaking down the ruined road.

(Morphin Grid)
Somewhere else entirely, far removed from the chaos of Earth…
After climbing a long, winding staircase of shimmering golden light, Kira found herself standing before a massive golden gate. The structure towered above her like the entrance to a divine palace, radiating warmth and majesty. Its aura seeped into her skin, washing away her exhaustion and anxiety. Her breath steadied. Her heartbeat slowed. Her mind calmed.
"Whoa… Just the energy from the gate is this comfortable?" she murmured. "Then how much better is it inside?"
As if the gate heard her resolve and accepted her presence, it released a gentle pulse of energy.
WHOOSH!!!
A soft golden wind pushed her back slightly, giving the gate room to open.
A swirling golden vortex materialized at the center. It wasn't massive — only about the size of a door — but the power emanating from it was ancient, vast, and incomprehensible. Something deep inside Kira stirred.
It felt… like longing. Like something in her soul was calling out to the vortex the way a child would reach out for their favorite treat.
She stepped forward without hesitation.
Walking through the vortex felt like dipping into warm sunlight. The sensation lasted only a moment, and then—
She appeared in a place impossible to describe in normal human terms.
A library. But not a normal one.
A library so massive it seemed to stretch infinitely upward into the sky. Massive crystal pillars supported shelves that climbed forever. The entire place glowed in a tranquil mixture of gold and soft blues.
But the most shocking thing?
There were no books.
Instead, countless glowing gems rested on the shelves — each containing a holographic projection of a dinosaur, roaring silently within.
"Whoa…" Kira breathed out, completely stunned.
She was standing in a divine archive. A universal vault. A sanctuary of power.
But she didn't have time to admire the beauty. She reminded herself of her mission and immediately began searching.
She needed to find the source of the Dino Thunder team's powers — their true link to the Morphin Grid.
One hour passed.
(A/N: Time in the Morphin Grid flows much slower than it does outside.)
Kira wiped sweat from her forehead in frustration.
"I can't find it…" she muttered. "And if I pick the wrong source, I'm doomed."
Her pulse quickened. She bit her lip. The pressure was suffocating.
She forced herself to breathe before suddenly freezing mid-step.
"Wait!"
Her eyes widened.
"I'm still contracted to my Pterodactyl. If I follow that connection… maybe I can sense the source of our power!"
Hope flickered inside her chest. She sat down on the glowing floor and closed her eyes, relaxing her nerves as deeply as she could. She let her mind flow. Let her energy drift outward. Let her instincts guide her.
Two hours later…
Her Morpher glowed brilliantly. A bright yellow light shot out.
The Dino Gem detached itself and floated upward. Kira gasped and snapped out of her meditative state.
"Success…"
Her idea actually worked.
"Was I always this smart…?" she whispered to herself, half-joking, half-shocked.
The gem suddenly zipped forward, flying through the endless rows of shelves. Kira immediately sprinted after it.
Eventually, they reached a section of the library where a specific shelf stood — small, unassuming, but pulsing with unmistakable energy.
On it sat five miniature dinosaur statues, each carved with exquisite detail. Lightning of different colors shimmered across their tiny forms. Kira felt her heart lurch.
This was it.
The source. Their true source.
"So small…" she whispered, almost disappointed. "The thing that gives us all our power… is just these tiny statues?"
Still, she couldn't deny the connection she felt. Her gem floated directly in front of them, vibrating with anticipation.
After one deep breath, she reached forward and placed her hands on the statues.
The moment she touched them, visions slammed into her mind — colossal dinosaurs swallowing planets, titanic battles across dimensions, Megazords cleaving through evil like divine executioners.
Before she could even react—
She and her gem vanished from the library.
Or rather…
From "The Source Library."

So I uploaded two chapters today. I want to round up this arc soon. We need some recruits for Zayne. He would need it.
Power Stones, guys. Please
