"Then let the battle begin."

Facing the six Ogre Magi, Rimuru-who had just been "repaired" by Shirou Emiya-no longer wore his usual peace-loving demeanor.

A faint anger simmered quietly within him.

"I'll say this in advance," Rimuru said evenly. "I won't take your lives. I'm not the evil being you think I am."

"So after I defeat all of you, I'll make you lie on the ground and listen to my explanation."

Slowly, he drew the katana slung behind his back and tightened his grip.

His stance settled naturally.

Across from him, the six Ogre Magi immediately entered battle formation.

Although they hadn't gone all out earlier, the goblins' combat strength had already exceeded their expectations. Their martial arts, in particular, were far more refined than anticipated.

Facing these so-called monster kings head-on, the six couldn't help but feel tense.

"Five close-combat fighters and one mage..."

Rimuru's gaze swept over them.

"The mage at the very back-the one they call the princess-can use stunning magic. A control-type mage."

"That's troublesome."

He paused for only a moment.

"Then..."

After completing his assessment, Rimuru spoke without hesitation.

"Shirou, can you control that female Ogre Mage?"

"Of course."

The reply came instantly.

Before the future Shuna could even react, she heard a voice from directly behind her.

In the next moment, a hand rested lightly on her shoulder.

No sound.

No presence.

She had been approached without noticing anything at all.

"Princess?!"

The other five reacted at once, turning their heads sharply.

The first to move was the one wielding the greatsword-the future Shion, who had originally stood toward the rear.

"Let her go!"

Her anger exploded.

With a violent swing, her greatsword came crashing down, as if she intended to split Shirou Emiya-and the ground beneath him-clean in half.

Shirou Emiya merely shifted his body slightly.

The blade missed.

In the same instant, he reached out and seized her arm.

A sharp twist.

A precise application of force.

Her arm dislocated cleanly, and the greatsword slipped from her grip.

Before she could even cry out, Shirou Emiya yanked her forward and threw her aside.

She slammed heavily into the ground.

"Damn it!"

The future Shion struggled to rise, teeth clenched, but Shirou Emiya calmly stepped down.

His foot pressed firmly against her back.

She couldn't move.

"It's better to stay calm at times like this," Shirou Emiya said casually.

One hand remained on the future Shuna's shoulder.

One foot pinned the future Shion in place.

In the blink of an eye, he had completely subdued two of them.

"What...?!"

The pupils of the remaining four Ogre Magi shrank.

When the princess had been taken, they hadn't immediately intervened. To them, Shirou Emiya looked like nothing more than a stealthy assassin. The real threat, they believed, was still the slime standing in front of them.

But what happened next shattered that assumption.

In an instant, the "assassin" had neutralized two of their strongest fighters.

Panic finally surfaced.

"Let them go!"

The remaining four shouted as they charged toward Shirou Emiya.

But before they could close the distance-

Rimuru moved.

"Don't look away," his voice cut in sharply. "Your opponent is right here."

He appeared directly in front of the future Kurobe.

Steel clashed.

Rimuru parried the incoming weapon with his katana, while his other arm completed a rapid body-armor transformation mid-motion.

The punch landed squarely in Kurobe's abdomen.

He was sent flying.

Without pause, Rimuru raised his sword to block a sudden strike from the future Souei, then casually kicked him away.

"Don't worry about the two behind you," Rimuru said coldly. "Your enemy is me."

"I already told you. I won't kill you."

"I'll defeat all of you and make you listen."

"Or were you not listening at all?"

The chill in his voice made the remaining three stiffen.

They no longer dared to split their focus.

The opponent in front of them was more than dangerous enough.

At this point, all they could do was hope he would keep his word.

Sensing their resolve tighten, Rimuru smiled faintly.

"Good."

"Right now, I just want to enjoy this battle."

"Enjoy?" Shirou Emiya muttered with a chuckle.

Still holding two captives in place, he watched the scene unfold with amusement.

"You just want to bully them thoroughly, don't you?"

After being on the receiving end of Shirou Emiya's "training" for so long, Rimuru was finally getting his turn.

Shirou Emiya understood perfectly.

Earlier, the moment Rimuru arrived, the two had already connected through Thought Communication. Shirou Emiya had been dispatched immediately to suppress the enemy mage and prevent interference.

With Presence Concealment active, he had leapt down silently from a tree behind the Ogre Magi, walked straight into their backline, and dismantled it.

As for fighting them himself and increasing his own basic stats?

That wasn't important.

These weren't disposable enemies.

They were future allies.

Potential training partners.

At their current level, they simply weren't worth the effort.

Only after receiving names from Rimuru-after evolving into Kijin-would they be qualified to serve as proper sparring opponents.

There was no rush.

For now, Rimuru could have his fun.

Shirou Emiya watched the battlefield with quiet satisfaction.

________________

The battlefield quickly thinned.

Before long, only Rimuru, the future Benimaru, and Hakurou remained standing.

The future Souei had already attempted another charge, only to be instantly restrained by Rimuru's Sticky Steel Thread and slammed into the ground with a single punch.

"Be careful, young master," Hakurou warned calmly. "This opponent appears to possess abilities of other monsters as well."

"I know," Rimuru replied.

His earlier frustration had already been vented.

Focusing fully on the two remaining opponents, he prepared to move-

Then Hakurou vanished.

"He's coming!"

Even with Great Sage accelerating his thoughts, Rimuru found it difficult to track the attack.

But-

Recently, he had been practicing swordsmanship daily with Shirou Emiya.

He hadn't mastered special techniques yet.

But his fundamentals-

Especially parrying-

Had been refined to the extreme.

His mind lagged.

His body didn't.

At the critical moment, Rimuru's sword snapped into position behind him.

The strike was blocked.

"What?!"

The future Hakurou hadn't expected that.

Before he could recover, Rimuru's knee drove straight into his abdomen.

The old warrior staggered and fell.

Among the six, Hakurou was undeniably the strongest.

His swordsmanship was exceptional.

But his body was old.

Against weaker opponents, he could still dominate with ease.

Against an evenly matched foe, however, he only had room for one decisive strike.

After that, his body could no longer maintain high-speed combat.

Once his attack was blocked, he lacked the strength to evade the follow-up.

That was why he fell.

Before being named, the Ogre Magi relied almost entirely on physical combat and possessed very few skills.

Age, in this world, was still a weakness.

Thus, the once-mighty warrior could no longer fight.

Now-

Only one remained.

The future Benimaru stood alone before Rimuru.
